Abstract

This study discusses hypnotherapy communication in phobia healing in the Isam Cahaya Holistic Care Makassar clinic and the obstacles experienced by hypnotherapists in healing phobic clients. This type of research uses qualitative research with descriptive type. Informants in this study are hypnotherapy practitioners and clients in the Isam Cahaya Holistic Care clinic in Makassar. Based on the results of this study indicate that the stages of hypnotherapy communication in healing phobias at the Isam Cahaya Holistic Care Makassar clinic is to use interpersonal communication with dyadic communication forms and several stages of hypnosis in communication processes sometimes using two-way communication patterns and one-way communication patterns, while obstacles experienced by the hypnotherapist in healing his client's phobias such as psychological barriers and semantic barriers.

Abstract

his research aims to find out the communication strategy of public relations at Claro Makassar Hotel in maintaining the interest of D'Liquid visitors and understanding the supporting and inhibiting factors. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, the informants in this study were four people including the head of the D'Liquid Public Relations team, employees, receptionists and one of the visitors of D'Liquid. The approach used is a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques in this study include data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. Claro Hotel's Public Relations Communication Strategy in Maintaining the D'liquid Visitor's Interest, namely: conducting promotions, designing new innovations, making partnerships with partners as a form of publication on D'liquid, and providing the best service in creating a sense of comfort for visitors. The results of this study also indicate that there are several supporting factors, namely, the completeness of facilities, attractive promos, sponsors, human resources. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries in the world that has more than 300 tribes spreading from Sabang to Marauke. All the tribes in it making Indonesia have a diverse local culture or traditional cultures. The development of the local culture in each region shows the level of community concern for their tribe’s culture. And in the development of traditional culture in a country, everybody expected that the young generation should also give their contribution. In social life, the culture will never be separated from one's personal self, especially for the young generation who still have an imbalance level of mindset and actions, so for that, it takes a long learning process to better understand the behaviour, mindset, and also the idea of actions carried out by humans. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of the habit malaqbiq in Polewali Mandar Regency. Knowing the preservation of malaqbiq values among the young generation of Polewali Mandar Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the use of Instagram as a media for tourist attraction promotion, and to present Instagram features in the process of promoting tourism by the Culture and Tourism Office of South Sulawesi Province. Qualitative research methods, reading social reality by means of initial observation and analyzing it. Then researchers theorize the findings. This research uses descriptive research. The results of this study indicate that the Disbudpar of South Sulawesi uses Instagram as a promotional media, and is also used as a media of information about the activities that have been carried out or to be carried out. From the overall findings, the researchers considered that the @budparsulsel account was quite good at promoting via Instagram social media even though there were some features that were not used.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know on how to overview the content of the news and get across the trend of kompas.com related to the content news of the issue of Sontoloyo and Tampang Boyolali. The results identifies that based on the resource category and the main issue of Sontoloyo and Tampang Boyolali which presented by kompas.com obtained various results. For the issue of Sontoloyo, the content is more likely to be obtained from experts/intellectuals, while for the issue of Tampang Boyolali obtained from BPN or Badan Pemenangan Nasional. The most widely reported issue by kompas.com is a Tampang Boyolali issue consists of  42 news items with a percentage of 72.4%. In terms of comments on the issue of Sontoloyo and Tampang Boyolali on Kompas.com, indicates that both issues get negative results in the news, but the issue of Tampang Boyolali obtains more prominent result of 18 news items with a percentage of 41.8%, compared to Sontoloyo issues as many as 5 news items with a percentage of 33.3%.

Abstract

Tourism marketing communication is an increase in visit requests, also intended to create interaction or exchange of information between the organization and prospective tourists based on quality and satisfaction with the exchange process. The communication strategy is an effort made by the Tourism Office of the Regency of Bulukumba to be directly involved in the process of developing tourism objects, which is in the Mandala Ria Beach of Bulukumba Regency in order to further increase the attractiveness for the tourists. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of the socio-cultural of the community in developing Mandala Ria beach. To find out opportunities and challenges in developing the beach attractions of Mandala Ria Ara-Lembanna, and to find out the communication strategy carried out by the Bulukumba Tourism Office in developing the potential of the Mandala Ria Ara-Lembanna Beach tourism object.

Abstract

Writing news with the literary journalism techniques has advantages in terms of conveying the facts to its reader. Literary journalism makes it  almost impossible to hide the facts in the news. Because the news is no longer delivered by chronological form, but in the form of reporting facts which has been dramatized in such a way. Journalists observe their object like a novel writers who seek and obtain reality from narration. On the other hand, reporting of literary journalism also meant in human interest. Seeing an event with a different glasses to touch the human side of the news source. This was intend so that readers can feel and be a part of the event. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of student activists as a campus journalists on the credibility of the literary journalism news in the July 15-21 edition of Tempo. To find out the perception of student activists as campus journalists on the literary technique of literary journalism news in Tempo, July 15-21, 2019 edition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) describing self disclosure of veiled Muslim women in Lumaring Village, Luwu Regency (2) identify and explain acceptance of veiled Muslim women in Lumaring Village, Luwu Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research method. Data collection techniques carried out by in-depth interviews with nine informants, five informants who use veils and four informants do not use veils. Data management and analysis techniques using the Huberman and Miles models. The results showed that "Self-Disclosure of Muslim Veils in Lumaring Village of Luwu Regency" (1) open self when in the community, veiled women open themselves and approach with the community so that there is no negative stigma about them (2) acceptance of veiled Muslim women in Lumaring Village, Luwu Regency, was received positively by the community because it used the veil as obedience to Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the personal selling conducted by the Bisnis Sulawesi Tabloid in attracting interest in advertising and to determine the factors supporting and inhibiting the personal selling of Bisnis Sulawesi Tabloid in attracting interest in advertising. The results showed that personal selling conducted by the Bisnis Sulawesi Tabloid in attracting interest in advertising is looking for prospects, setting goals, communicating, selling, and serving. The supporting factor is that Bisnis Sulawesi has a good rating. While the inhibiting factors are the extent of deployment, production machinery and company personnel cross-duty.

The purpose of this study was to determine the reality of humanity that was presented by Kompas Daily in the rubric of the Figure. This study used a qualitative type with a text discourse analysis model of the Teun A. van Dijk model. The subjects of this study were three feature profile posts in the rubric of Figure, each entitled "Maestro Long Song" (Saturday edition, March 2, 2019), "Charity of Facial Reconstruction Sciences" (Saturday edition, March 9, 2019), and "Pocket Money for Poor Children ”(Saturday edition, March 23, 2019). The results showed that in the rubric of the Figure in Kompas Daily, the figures of Mak Itam, Myrtha Artaria, and Reky Martha Groendal which are told in the three feature writings give a representation of how the reality of humanity is presented in a news text. The purpose of this study was to determine the reality of humanity that was presented by Kompas Daily in the rubric of the Figure.
