Abstract

Poverty is one of the major social problems in Makassar City, precisely in Bulurokeng Village, Biringkanaya District. One of the efforts to tackle poverty is the existence of a government program for free health insurance, commonly known as the Health Insurance Administration Agency (BPJS). Therefore, this research was conducted to find out how the service process was carried out by the Social Service during the administration of Health Insurance for the poor. This research is qualitative research with a social research approach that is used as a reference in analyzing the object under study in accordance with the science of logic by using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was also carried out in four stages, namely data analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of verification/conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the process of providing Social Security assistance services from the Social Service to the Kelurahan and the community is directed at the following processes: 1) File Receipt. 2) The Department of Social Affairs must first trace the people who have registered to get the free guarantee. 3) Validate data. 4) Card distribution. In the service process, supporting and inhibiting factors are often found. Among the supporting factors are 1) Targeting 95% of Makassar people to be covered by Universal Health Coverage (UHC). 2) Clarity of service information. 3) Completeness of Facilities and Infrastructure. 4) Human resources. While the inhibiting factors are 1) It is difficult to sort out people who have been able to. 2) The length of the process of making a health insurance card. 3) Lack of public awareness about the importance of health insurance. Abstract

This study describes the main problem "How is Village Fund Empowerment on Community Welfare in Panciro Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency?" With sub-problems, namely: How is Village Fund Empowerment on Community Welfare in Panciro Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency? and What are the obstacles faced in Empowering Village Funds on Community Welfare in Panciro Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency? The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the village fund empowerment program in Panciro Village which is run by the Panciro village apparatus is in accordance with government regulations and there have been several successful programs run. The obstacles that often arise are due to the lack of synchronic coordination between the government and regional confusion, the distribution of village funds is hampered and the impact is that the wheels of the village economy are hampered. Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of signs and meanings that refer to the representation ofPapuan women activists in the film “MAMAPOLITAN: The Story of Papuan Women inJakarta”. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a semiotic analysis approachmodel of Charles Sanders Pierce's trichotomy. The data sources were analyzed by primary andsecondary. The stages of data analysis carried out by researchers are by understanding the objectof research as the first step to understanding the content of the film, then dissecting the object ofresearch to examine each part and combine it with supporting words so that the message isconveyed in the documentary film MAMAPOLITAN: The Story of Papuan Women in Jakarta isobtained. The results of this study show several signs in the three scenes that refer to therepresentation of Papuan women activists in the film MAMAPOLITAN: The Story of PapuanWomen in Jakarta. Signs are analyzed using the concept of trichotomy which is divided into,(1) Objects consisting of icons, indexes, and symbols (2) Representamen consisting of qualisign,sinsign, and legisign (3) Interpretant consisting of rheme, decision, and argument. The results of the representation in the first scene show how Papuan women maintain their distinctive clothesamidst the hustle and bustle of the Metropolitan city. In the second scene, Papuan women boldlyvoice their massive freedom and right to live in their own land. In the third scene, Papuanwomen activists carry out demonstrations to maintain their identity in the form of traditionalclothes used by people who are not from Papua.

Abstract

This study discusses the considerations of the Wakatobi Regency Tourism and Creative Economy Office in determining marketing communication strategies when dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the purpose of this research is; to 1) to know the considerations of the Wakatobi Regency Tourism and Creative Economy Office in determining marketing communication strategies during the covid-19 pandemic. 2) find out the contribution of the marketing communication strategy to the interest of tourists to visit Wakatobi during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a case study with a qualitative approach. Primary data sources were obtained through interviews with the marketing sector of the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Wakatobi Regency. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Using Miles and Huberman's data processing and analysis techniques, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The consideration of the Wakatobi Regency Tourism and Creative Economy in determining the marketing communication strategy during the covid-19 pandemic is to carry out a marketing communication strategy that is able to attract potential tourists to visit Wakatobi and comply with the policies set by the government regarding tourism activities during the covid pandemic. -19. The marketing communication strategies carried out are interactive marketing, advertising, public relations, and event procurement. Marketing communication strategy has a very important position in supporting the increase in the number of tourists in Wakatobi. where the marketing communication strategy will make prospective tourists know information about Wakatobi, the existence of trust from prospective tourists, and the presence of tourist visits.

Abstract

This research is focused on two main problems, namely: 1). how is the communication pattern of the Makassar City DPRD members' recess in absorbing the aspirations of the community? 2). What factors support and hinder the communication pattern of DPRD members' recess in absorbing people's aspirations? This study uses a qualitative research type and is located at the Makassar City DPRD Secretariat Office. The research approach used is the study of communication science with a concentration on communication patterns. In this study, data were compiled and collected from various sources, such as interviews, documentation, and also observations at the research site. This study also describes an event, an event that occurs through data collection methods and is also field in nature. The results of this study indicate that 1) the communication pattern of the Makassar City DPRD recess in absorbing the aspirations of the community is measured through several indicators of the communication process involving elements of communication, namely communicators, communicants, messages, media, and feedback. From these recess processes, it was found that in the preparation of the recess, the communication pattern used was a top-down communication pattern, namely from the leadership of the DPRD to DPRD members, then in the implementation of the recess it was found that top-down communication patterns were found from DPRD members to the community and bottom-up communication patterns from the community to members. The DPRD, in following up on the results of the recess, found a horizontal communication pattern, namely DPRD members and the Makassar City Government. Furthermore, from the overall data obtained the wheel pattern on the recess communication pattern of DPRD members in absorbing community aspirations, 2) Factors that support the recess communication pattern, namely the community and the Makassar City DPRD secretariat greatly assist the process of recess activities for DPRD members in carrying out their functions and duties so that the desired goals can be achieved. achieved. The inhibiting factors in the recess communication pattern are the busyness of DPRD members in attending recess activities which can hinder activities as well as other inhibiting factors regarding time constraints, and budget constraints so that people's aspirations are not immediately realized.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the strategy used by the Protocol Public Relations of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province in building media relations. The purpose of this study was to determine the protocol public relations strategy of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province in building media relations as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the Protocol Public Relations of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province in disseminating information. This research is qualitative in nature using a scientific communication approach. Sources of data in this study were the Head of Subdivision of Public Relations, Protocol and Publications, Public Relations staff, and two representatives from the mass media, and the public. The data collection method used is observation, interviews with five informants, and documentation. The research instruments are the researchers themselves with the help of interview guidelines, recording aids in the form of cellphones, and cameras. Furthermore, the data is processed by qualitative analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that 1) the South Sulawesi Provincial DPRD Protocol Public Relations strategy in building media relations is to build equal partners, implement information disclosure in partnerships, use the principle of mutual benefit, and build a personal approach to the media. 2) The advantages of the Public Relations Protocol of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province in disseminating information are a wide network with the media, open access to information for the public, and good service to the media. The weakness of the Protocol Public Relations of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province in disseminating information is the lack of staff in the Protocol Public Relations of the DPRD of South Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the role of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Makassar city in improving the quality of women's da’wah. This study uses a qualitative research type and is located at the Muhammadiyah Islamic da’wah center. In this study, data were compiled and collected from various sources, namely in the form of interviews, data reduction, documentation, and also observations at the research site. The results of this study indicate that 1). Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Makassar City has a work program to improve the quality of women's da’wah, such as several work programs that are directed to become Islamic, social, women's education and especially da’wah movements which are certainly very accepted by the wider community.2) The obstacles of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Makassar City in improving the quality of women's da'wah are having limited human resources and the activities of members who are mostly workers and taking care of the household or family, lack of socialization to the community about the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah organization and limited time fo Nasyiatul Aisyiyah members.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning contained in cultural photographs in the Saeyyang Pattuqduq tradition using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. The objects of this study are four series of photographs of the Saeyyang Pattuqduq tradition by Muhammad Ridwan Alimuddin including (ritual Totammaq (people who read the Koran), Saeyyang Pattuqduq (Horse Dancer), Parrawana (tambourine beater) and pakkalindaqdaq (Syring Poetry). This study uses a qualitative approach with text analysis methods through the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic model. Data collection by document analysis. The data analysis technique in this study is to clarify a sign using the types of signs, namely icons, indexes, and symbols. The results of this study indicate that the universal meaning in the four series of cultural photos in the Saeyyang Pattuqduq tradition by Muhammad Ridwan Alimuddin shows that it is not only related to entertainment but there is love, hope, respect, and hospitality as the needs of every human being, when a human being negates or negates one of three, then lost his humanity. Because basically humans are created to love one another, have hope as a form of belief in the coming of something good, and respect as mutual respect for others.

Abstract

This thesis aims to find out how the Strategy for Utilizing YouTube Media by Net TV Sul-Sel and utilizing YouTube media to compete with other local media in Makassar in getting the audience market.The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, namely, researchers directly obtaining information from informants such as circumstances, processes, events, or events and others stated in the form of statements. The source of data in this study is the editor of NET TV Sul Sel, and also a spectator who often accesses it. The data collection method used is field research through observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of this study indicate that the Strategy for Utilizing YouTube Media by Net TV Sul-Sel, namely: First, the steps to get viewers interested in watching video shows on Youtube, namely: Selection of thumbnails, selection of interesting titles, interesting content, and sharing to the media other social. The two obstacles experienced by NET TV Sul Sel in the use of YouTube media are performance disturbances due to slow internet network connections, YouTube servers having problems from time to time, and being unable to reach areas where internet connections do not yet exist. The three opportunities for NET TV Sul Sel in utilizing YouTube media are: through endorsement, AdSense, advertising content, trading/business, and guest stars/speakers/presenters.
