Journal Al-Mirah: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is a peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to the publication of scholarly works in the field of Islamic Religious Education. Interdisciplinary studies that contribute meaningfully to the discourse of Islamic education are also encouraged. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo an editorial screening and a peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, relevance, and clarity of contribution. The journal is committed to upholding ethical standards in scholarly publishing and to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and professionalism of its editorial process. Published twice a year, Journal Al-Mirah serves as a medium for the exchange of ideas and dissemination of knowledge that support the continuous improvement of Islamic education at local, national, and international levels. Abstract

Kampung Zakat merupakan konsep inovatif yang menggabungkan potensi zakat, infaq dan sedekah (ZIS) dengan program-program pengembangan ekonomi umat di suatu daerah tertentu. Artikel ini membahas implementasi Kampung Zakat oleh Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) Kabupaten Barru sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan daya ekonomi umat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pihak terkait, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumen terkait program Kampung Zakat. Melalui program ini, dana zakat dialokasikan untuk berbagai kegiatan, seperti bantuan modal usaha, pelatihan keterampilan, pendidikan, kesehatan, dan pengembangan infrastruktur. Pemahaman yang kuat tentang konsep Kampung Zakat, partisipasi aktif masyarakat, transparansi dalam pengelolaan dana zakat, dan kolaborasi antar lembaga menjadi kunci keberhasilan program ini dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan umat secara berkelanjutan di Desa Nepo Kecamatan Mallusetasi Kabupaten Barru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kampung Zakat telah memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat setempat dan menjadi model yang dapat diadopsi oleh daerah lain dalam upaya pengentasan kemiskinan.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and social media has transformed the landscape of education, communication, and religious engagement in contemporary society. This study explores the role of digital Islamic education in fostering global religious harmony beyond traditional institutional boundaries. The research examines how AI-powered learning platforms, social media mediation, and digital literacy contribute to the dissemination of inclusive Islamic values, intercultural dialogue, and peaceful coexistence in multicultural societies. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this study analyzes recent developments in digital pedagogy, AI integration, and online religious communication within Islamic education. The findings reveal that AI and social media can serve as transformative tools for strengthening religious moderation, promoting ethical digital behavior, and expanding access to Islamic learning across diverse communities. However, the study also identifies challenges such as misinformation, online radicalization, algorithmic bias, and the commercialization of religious content. Therefore, the future of digital Islamic education requires collaborative strategies involving educators, policymakers, religious leaders, and technology developers to ensure that digital transformation supports peace, tolerance, and global human solidarity. This study contributes to the growing discourse on the intersection of Islamic education, digital technology, and social harmony in the era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) Kabupaten Barru merupakan salah satu badan amil zakat di Indonesia yang bertugas untuk mengumpulkan zakat yang ada di Kabupaten barru. Ada dua jenis penyaluran zakat yang ada di Kabupaten Barru yaitu zakat konsumtif dan zakat produktif, dimana penditribusian zakat diatrikan sebagai penyaluran zakat kepada mustahiq secara konsumtif, sedangkan pendayagunaan zakat diartikansebagai penyaluran zakat kepadamustahiq secara produktif. BAZNAS Kabupaten Barru juga mempunyai 5 pilar program yaitu: BAZNAS Barru Sejahtera, BAZNAS Barru Cerdas, BAZNAS Barru Sehat, BAZNAS Barru Peduli, dan BAZNAS Barru Taqwa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendistribusian dan pendayagunaan dana ZIS BAZNAS Kabupaten Barru sudah menerapkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen seperti perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan dan juga pengawasan. Dalam pelaksanaannya yang menjadi faktor pendukung pengelolaan dana zakat di BAZNAS Kabupaten Barru adalah dukungan dari Bupati dan juga ASN, letak kantor BAZNAS Kabupaten Barru yang strategis, dan juga tersedianya UPZ di tiap instansi yag mempengaruhi pemerolehan dana ZIS serta penditribusiannya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana manajemen penditribusian dana ZIS pada BAZNAS Kabupaten Barru. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen pendistribusian dana ZIS di Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) KabupatenBarru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.

Abstract

The integration of faith, knowledge, and action is a fundamental principle in Islamic education that aims to develop individuals holistically by balancing spiritual, intellectual, and practical dimensions of life. This concept emphasizes that faith (iman) serves as the foundation of belief and moral guidance, knowledge (ilm) functions as a means of understanding and navigating life, and action (amal) represents the practical manifestation of faith and knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to examine the significance of integrating these three elements within the framework of Islamic education and their role in shaping responsible, ethical, and productive individuals. Using a descriptive and conceptual approach, the study explores the interrelationship among faith, knowledge, and action based on Islamic teachings and educational principles. The findings indicate that faith provides direction and purpose, knowledge enhances understanding and decision-making, and action transforms beliefs and knowledge into meaningful contributions to society. The study further highlights that effective Islamic education should not focus solely on academic achievement but also on character formation, moral development, and social responsibility. The integration of faith, knowledge, and action contributes to the development of balanced individuals who are capable of addressing contemporary challenges while maintaining strong spiritual values. Therefore, educational institutions, families, and communities should collaborate in promoting this integrated approach to ensure the cultivation of competent, ethical, and socially responsible generations. Ultimately, the harmonious integration of faith, knowledge, and action serves as a foundation for achieving success in both worldly life and the hereafter.

Abstract

This study develops the Muhammadiyah Institutional Resilience Framework (MIRF), a multidimensional model designed to strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of Islamic higher education institutions in the era of digital disruption and global competition. The framework integrates six strategic dimensions: academic excellence, financial sustainability, human resource development, digital transformation, governance resilience, and Muhammadiyah Islamic values. The study is motivated by the growing need for universities to move beyond traditional performance indicators and adopt a holistic resilience-oriented governance model that can respond adaptively to crises, policy changes, technological shifts, and societal demands. Using a qualitative-conceptual approach supported by literature review and institutional analysis, the study synthesizes theories of organizational resilience, higher education governance, digital transformation, and Islamic educational values. The resulting MIRF proposes that institutional sustainability is achieved when academic quality, financial health, technological readiness, effective governance, and value-based leadership operate in an integrated manner. Muhammadiyah values such as integrity, social responsibility, innovation, and service to society function as the ethical foundation that aligns organizational resilience with the broader mission of Islamic education. The framework contributes to the literature on higher education management by offering a context-sensitive model for Islamic universities, particularly within the Muhammadiyah network. Practically, MIRF can serve as a strategic planning tool, an institutional evaluation instrument, and an early warning system for assessing university resilience. The study also proposes the development of an Institutional Resilience Index to operationalize the framework in future empirical research. By combining managerial and spiritual dimensions, MIRF provides a comprehensive approach to building sustainable, adaptive, and value-driven higher education institutions.
