Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of innovation and creation of PAI learning methods, which was caused by the age factor of PAI teachers, as well as the minimal budget allocated for learning media by schools. So this has implications for low critical thinking skills and learning achievement in PAI learning, for class VII students at SMPN 1 Slahung. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the mind mapping learning method in PAI learning activities in class VII of SMPN 1 Slahung, as well as to analyze the ratio of increasing critical thinking skills and PAI learning achievement for class VII students of SMPN 1 Slahung after using the mind mapping learning method. The research method used is a quantitative experimental approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, critical thinking ability tests, and documentation. The results of this research show that the learning process between the control class (VII B) and the experimental class (VII C) was carried out in the same flow, starting from the learning material, types of questions and time allocation for test instruments, and allocation of learning hours. The difference lies in the use of the lecture method in the control class, and the mind mapping method in the experimental class. The results of this research show that the use of the mind mapping learning method can improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes, between the experimental class (VII C) and the control class (VII B). The final results of the calculation show that |t_count|>t_table, then there is a significant difference in the average score between the experimental class post test (89.40), better than the control class post test (76.77).

Abstract

A Memorizing the Al-Qur'an requires a long time to complete and various methods are used to maintain the quality of memorization. The influence of the fami bisyauqin method on the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an is the focus of this research. The fami bisyauqin method is a new breakthrough for the PPTQ Al-Muqorrobin Ponorogo Institute after using the muroja'ah binafsi method for a long time. This idea received a positive response and full support from the students, to foster a muroja'ah spirit in the midst of worldly activities. This research aims to explain the implementation of the fami bisyauqin method at PPTQ Al-Muqorrobin Ponorogo, as well as the influence of the fami bisyauqin method on the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an at PPTQ Al-Muqorrobin Ponorogo. This type of research is field research using descriptive qualitative methods, namely research that describes or explains the object being studied based on natural or real conditions (without experimental situations) to create a systematic general picture in detail, factual and accurate. The research results describe that 1) the fami bisyauqin method is one of the most effective methods for improving the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an. This method helps students become accustomed to and trained in reading the Koran. Unconsciously, the brain will record the reading that is read so that the quality of students' memorization will be well maintained. 2) Supporting activities in the implementation of the fami bisyauqin such as muroqobah, simaan jum'at legi, and riyadhah. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the fami bisyauqin method are health, interest, motivation, infrastructure and social environment

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role as educators and moral exemplars in shaping students’ character within the school environment. As figures of integrity, teachers are responsible not only for transferring knowledge but also for instilling ethical values and noble character through their behavior and attitudes. However, cases of ethical misconduct such as bullying among teachers and students indicate a moral crisis in education. This situation undermines teachers’ authority and negatively affects students’ moral development. Therefore, strengthening ethics in educational practice is essential to restore moral order in schools. Character education should be instilled from an early age, especially in elementary schools, as the foundation for moral and personal development. The implementation of teacher ethics aligns with UNESCO’s four pillars of education learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, and learning to live together which emphasize the balance between knowledge, skills, and humanity. In the context of Indonesian education, Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s philosophy remains relevant, positioning teachers as role models who integrate cognitive (cipta), affective (karsa), and psychomotor (karya) aspects to develop holistic human potential through ethical and character-based education.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is one of the main challenges in developing human resources in Indonesia. One prominent strategy to address this issue is the implementation of learning innovations that align with the dynamics of modern society and students’ needs. This study aims to analyze the role of learning innovation in enhancing educational quality through a library research approach. Data were collected from various scientific sources, including journals, books, and research reports discussing the relationship between learning innovation, educational quality, and teaching effectiveness. The results of the literature review indicate that learning innovation significantly contributes to increasing learning motivation, 21st-century skills, and overall learning outcomes. Moreover, the integration of technology and collaborative learning models creates a more active, creative, and meaningful learning environment. Therefore, learning innovation can be considered a key strategy in realizing a national education system that is adaptive, competitive, and characterized by the moral values of Pancasila within the framework of Society 5.0.

Abstract

n an effort to improve the quality of human resources, education serves as one of the main pillars of sustainable societal development. This comparative study examines the education systems in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Germany, focusing on each country's unique approach to managing education and the comparative outcomes that can enhance educational practices in other nations, including Indonesia. The analysis reveals that the education systems in these three countries, shaped by history, culture, and government policies, exhibit distinct characteristics. The United Kingdom implements a structured education system with national examinations, while the Netherlands emphasizes flexibility and inclusive education, and Germany adopts a dual education model that has successfully reduced youth unemployment. This study also provides recommendations for educational development in Indonesia based on the findings.

Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, fleksibel, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan kompetensi serta karakter. Konsep tersebut memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan filsafat progresivisme yang menempatkan peserta didik sebagai subjek utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar ditinjau dari perspektif filsafat progresivisme serta mengidentifikasi relevansinya terhadap pengembangan proses pembelajaran. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada upaya mengintegrasikan konsep Kurikulum Merdeka dengan prinsip-prinsip progresivisme sebagai landasan filosofis dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur (library research) dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber ilmiah berupa artikel jurnal, buku, serta dokumen kebijakan yang berkaitan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan filsafat progresivisme. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif melalui proses reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka memiliki kesesuaian dengan prinsip-prinsip progresivisme, terutama pada aspek pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, pemberian kebebasan dalam mengembangkan potensi, pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual, serta peran guru sebagai fasilitator. Selain itu, pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila mendukung terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang aktif, kreatif, dan kolaboratif. Dengan demikian, Kurikulum Merdeka dapat dipandang sebagai bentuk aktualisasi nilai-nilai progresivisme dalam pendidikan dasar yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan pengembangan karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman dan perubahan pola interaksi sosial telah menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan penerapan nilai-nilai kesopanan dan etika di lingkungan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, sekolah perlu mengembangkan budaya positif yang mampu membentuk karakter peserta didik, salah satunya melalui penerapan budaya 5S (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, dan Santun). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi budaya 5S dalam membentuk karakter siswa di SMKN 1 Jenangan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada analisis budaya 5S sebagai bentuk pembiasaan yang diintegrasikan ke dalam aktivitas rutin sekolah untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya 5S diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan guru, dan pembiasaan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penerapan budaya tersebut mampu menumbuhkan sikap sopan santun, rasa hormat, kepedulian sosial, serta kemampuan berinteraksi secara positif di lingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat. Dengan demikian, budaya 5S dapat menjadi salah satu strategi efektif dalam memperkuat pembentukan karakter peserta didik di sekolah.

Abstract

Sistem pendidikan merupakan instrumen strategis dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia dan pembentukan identitas suatu bangsa. Arab Saudi, Mesir, dan Turki memiliki karakteristik sistem pendidikan yang berbeda sebagai konsekuensi dari latar belakang sejarah, politik, dan sosial yang membentuk kebijakan pendidikan masing-masing negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan karakteristik sistem pendidikan di Arab Saudi, Mesir, dan Turki, meliputi aspek sejarah perkembangan, kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, serta keunggulan dan kelemahannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Data diperoleh dari buku, artikel ilmiah, dokumen kebijakan pendidikan, dan berbagai literatur relevan yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif-komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Arab Saudi menerapkan sistem pendidikan yang berorientasi kuat pada nilai-nilai Islam dengan dukungan pendanaan pendidikan yang besar dari pemerintah. Mesir mengembangkan sistem pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan umum dan pendidikan Islam melalui peran strategis Universitas Al-Azhar, meskipun masih menghadapi persoalan kualitas dan pemerataan pendidikan. Sementara itu, Turki mengembangkan sistem pendidikan yang lebih sekuler dan modern dengan penekanan pada penguasaan teknologi, inovasi, dan integrasi standar pendidikan internasional. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan orientasi pendidikan di ketiga negara dipengaruhi oleh relasi antara agama, negara, dan agenda modernisasi yang berkembang dalam masing-masing konteks nasional. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada analisis komparatif yang mengintegrasikan aspek historis, kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, serta tantangan reformasi pendidikan secara simultan pada tiga negara mayoritas Muslim. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan reformasi pendidikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan negara dalam menyeimbangkan nilai-nilai tradisional dengan tuntutan modernisasi dan kebutuhan global.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of early childhood fine motor skills through collage activities in Group A at RA Muslimat NU 032 Al Qoryah Bakalan. The study was motivated by children’s low fine motor abilities, particularly in hand-eye coordination during cutting, pasting, and arranging learning materials. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings revealed that collage activities effectively improved children’s fine motor skills through tasks such as applying glue, arranging paper pieces, pasting according to patterns, and completing activities independently. The learning process included lesson preparation, provision of materials, teacher guidance, and evaluation activities. Supporting factors included collaboration between teachers and parents, as well as the use of attractive and varied learning media. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors included children’s unstable moods and limited learning resources. The novelty of this study lies in the implementation of play-based and exploratory collage activities combined with active teacher assistance to stimulate children’s fine motor coordination comprehensively. The study highlights that collage activities not only improve hand skills but also foster children’s independence, concentration, and active participation in the learning process. Therefore, collage activities can be used as an effective learning method to support fine motor development in early childhood education.

Abstract

Perkembangan globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap pola pikir dan perilaku Generasi Z di Indonesia. Di satu sisi, globalisasi memberikan kemudahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, namun di sisi lain memunculkan berbagai persoalan seperti degradasi moral, menurunnya kepedulian sosial, serta melemahnya karakter kebangsaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan moral sebagai upaya penguatan karakter Generasi Z dalam menghadapi tantangan era globalisasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber ilmiah berupa buku, artikel jurnal, dan hasil penelitian yang relevan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif-analitis melalui proses identifikasi, klasifikasi, interpretasi, dan sintesis terhadap literatur yang dikumpulkan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter Generasi Z tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan pendidikan formal, tetapi juga oleh keluarga, masyarakat, dan media sosial sebagai ruang interaksi utama generasi digital. Implementasi pendidikan moral yang didukung oleh keteladanan pendidik, sinergi keluarga dan sekolah, serta penguatan nilai-nilai kebangsaan mampu menjadi strategi efektif dalam membangun pribadi yang berintegritas, bertanggung jawab, dan adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi konsep pendidikan moral dengan teori belajar sosial Albert Bandura dalam menjelaskan pembentukan karakter Generasi Z di tengah arus globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi digital.
