Abstract

The office building in this Final Project was designed to comply with Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRFS). The Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRFS) was chosen to enable the building to behave in ductile manner. This because ductile structures can disipate large amount of energy when subject to earthquake loading. The system was design to apply the concept of strong column weak beam, where the vertical elements of the structure (column) should be made stronger than the horizontal elements of the structure (beam), so that plastic joints occur on beam ends. Moreover, the beam-column joint connections were designed to avoid collapse in joints.

Abstract

One of risk of multi years project contract is price adjustment. So, the government issued rules regarding price adjustments through Presidential Decree No. 70/2012 Article 92 that completes the previous rules. Rules about the price adjustment are described in more detail in the contract documents. This situation has led to the price adjustment calculations between different projects. The purpose of this study is to analyze the value of an escalation in the ongoing work items in Jatigede DamProject and Jatibarang Dam Project. Hopefully, through this research, regulation application number 70/2012 on contract documents related to price adjustment.The research was conducted by interview, field observation and simulation calculations based of Jatigede Dam Project and Jatibarang Dam Project contract documents  in data processing. Jatibarang Dam Project assign the value of contract component based on HPS (Owner Cost Estimate) from survey and set the index of economic indicators published by BPS. Jatigede Dam Projectassigns a value based on the cost factor analysis and establishes the unit price indices through the Wholesale Price Index and Consumer Price Index in Cirebon City. This research simulates the price adjustment by exchanging contract documents on both projects with the volume of work in March 2011 and April 2011. Simulation methods on Jatibarang Project generate escalations value 15.69% and 15.44% from the value of escalation methods Jatigede Dam Project. Simulation methods Jatigede Dam Project escalation generate value 175.03% and 161.35% of the value of escalation with methods Jatibarang Dam Project.

Abstract

Diponegoro University as an educational institution has an important role as a contribution and dedication to the community in the conservation and development of water resources. With the location of the campus UNDIP Tembalang located in high elevation areas, plus there is a river flowing in front of the campus UNDIP, supported by intellectual property owned civitas academy UNDIP then the potential is more than enough to mengembangangkan and utilize all its potential for the benefit of conservation of water resources and hydropower plant. Hydroelectric power (hydropower) is one of the power plants that use renewable energy in the form of water. One advantage of this generator is a fast response so it is suitable for peak load conditions or when there is interference in the network. In addition to the output power capacity of the greatest among other renewable energy, hydro power has also been there since time immemorial. Debit design of UNDIP II Hidropower Plant Semarang using the mass inflow curve for 11 years (2001 s/d 2011) the results was 0.152 m3/second,, but to get the most power capacity used 0.220 m3/second discharge of hydrologic analysis calculations. Design structures to support the planned hydropower operations in order to function properly is building decision (Intake), rapid pipe, door arrangements, turbine, sewer, and draft tube. The results of the planning details are as follows: (1) using a type intake tower with a diameter of 0.83 m at an elevation of +147.05 (2) Penstock with a diameter of 0.83 m and a total length of 150 m and is connected to the intake hole at an elevation of +139 , 00. (3) High net falls 42.25 m. (4) The power generated by 77,51 kW. (5) door controller using 500x250x10 Canal profiles. (6) used the Turbine Turbine type Francis. (7) The sewer masonry trapezoidal cross section times the size of b = 0.7 m, h = 0.4 m. Review and Planning UNDIP II Hydropower plant cost of Rp 56.857.829.520.98 (fifty-six billion, eight hundred and fifty-seven million eight hundred twenty nine thousand five hundred twenty dollars) with a long time of the 25 weeks.

Abstract

Along with the increasing demand and growth of population, the more necessary a good transportation to smooth traffic flow. Especially KA demands will increase service capacity, speed, and safety and comfort, it is necessary to thinking or planning that address these issues, including the improvement of facilities and infrastructure such as the construction of double track Railway network. In this case only a segment of Semarang Tawang Railway track-Ngrombo are supposed to represent the path Bojonegoro Semarang. Stages of the methodology used in the planning stage consists of the problem formulation, literature review, data collection, data analysis, planning, RAB and the final stage. The change capacity plans that will be served by this pathway, leading to the condition of the existing track alignment and structure must be adapted to the requirements for Class I. path Based on the soil conditions on the project which is unstable and track existing conditions that are often submerged rob the new double track line is designed with a higher elevation than the existing track conditions. From the analysis it can be seen that almost all double track line has a condition that is much different from the existing track in terms of structural, alignment and land protection. Calculation results obtained from this project spent Rp 457.000.000.000,00 to build the new track.

Abstract

Flooding is a situation where areas not normally inundated with water becomes stagnant. And very adverse circumstances moriil both material as well as inhibition of transport impact on the rate of the economy of a region. Flooding problems that occurred in the city of Semarang is partly due to overflowing, one of the river is the river layer. Babon river have a length of about 17 km starting from Pucang Gading Dam downstream to the estuary through Karang Roto Dam. Babon river conditions experienced narrowing and shallowing flow leads to reduced capacity to cross the river flood discharge flow. Babon river can no longer accommodate the flood discharge that occurs especially in the rainy season so that commemorate the area around the river layer. In addition, the floods also caused the creek bank that opened for the access road so the water from the river could easily overflow. From studies and calculations have been done, solving this problem is to conduct repairs on the Babon River, by improving the flow and cross the river and make retrofitting Babon River on slopes / riverbanks prone to landslides. So as to reduce the level of flooding in the city of Semarang.
