Abstract

The Problems Of Transportation that problem occur all this time was traffic jams. One of the traffic jams have been occur at Profesor Soedarto, SH Street which was caused by the movement of the vehicle turning direcyion and volume and traffic in the street. The movement of the vehicle turning direction was causing delays and queues on the roads. At this study, the analisis was done by using the referance based on the rules of indonesian Highway Capacity Manual and descriptive statistic analysis. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of service roads, identify the characteristics of delay and queue that occur due to variations in the duration of the vehicle turning direction at the and of the median, as well as provide an alternative solution. The method used to improve services an the area of roads is traffic management. The result of this study showed that the level of the service road can’t accomodate the number of vehicles passing on the roads. It can be seen from the degree of saturation (DS) which was more than one. Average delay stopped in the road to reach 10.19 seconds and result in long queues of 22 meters.. Best alternative solution of this study is the road widening.

Abstract

The structural of college building planned in Semarang, which the structure of the building is designed by using the Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRFS) based on ”Indonesian Concrete Code (SNI 03-2847-2002)”, while the analysis of earthquake load uses response spectrum method based on “Indonesian Seismic Code (SNI 03-1726-2010)”. The design structural of these college building using“Capacity Design” concept. As for using this concept has purpose what if strong earthquake happens, that cause forms plastic hinge on structural elements which is desired appeared on the beams. To guarantee plastic hinge happens on the beams, so the coloumns must be designed stronger than the beams (Strong Column Weak Beam Concept). The analysis of the structure is using SAP2000 computer program  version 14. As the result of calculations showed that structural element of building is safe based on analyze.

Abstract

The problem that often happen nowadays is flood in rain season and drought in dry season. The other problem is land degradation for infiltrating water caused by environment changes which is land development effect. One of problem solving and ground water conservation effort at Diponegoro University Campus Area is to build drainage with infiltration well. This drainage with infiltration well is expected to reduce run off water caused by development at Undip campus area. This designing process does the hidrology analysis with rainfall data for 15 years at Sta. Gunungpati, Sta. Banyumeneng, and Sta. Pucanggading. The hidrology analysis for this design use normal probability distribution and rational method with rain repeat period 2 year. This hidrology analysis results are post-development flow (Qpascapembangunan) 4,633 m3/s and pre-development flow (Qprapembangunan) 2,357 m3/s so it can be know that development caused increasing flow (∆Q) 2,277 m3/s. The analysis result is used to design the drainage channel and infiltration well. In this design, the drainage channel at Undip campus is still good to use so it is just need to build infiltration well. Infiltration well dimension is 0,5 m diameter, 1,2 m depth and 3 m length between infiltration wells. There is water catchment box and infiltration well’s cover on the top each infiltration well. Water catchment box dimension is 0,8 m length, 0,8 m width and 0,1 m height, while infiltration well’s cover dimension is 0,6 m diameter and 5 cm width. The existencies of drainage with infiltration well can absorb water about 11,885 % from run off flow caused by development (the differential flow between pre-development and post-development) , that calculated with method for Research Effect of Hydrology and Hydraulic Caused by Infiltration Well Combination at Drainage System with infiltration well condition. To determine the effectiveness of the water absorption from infiltration well, this study is calculated water absorption for a year in 2011. This calculation is using two intensity approaching methods, namely: Mononobe Method and Alternating Block Method (ABM). From these calculations predicted drainage with infiltration well that can absorb water 12.051% - 43.660% of the discharge rain, so the volume of absorbed water reach 600,000 m3.

Abstract

Tambakharjo coast located in Semarang. Tambakharjo coast damaged a shoreline setback. Construction of coastal protection building a seawall is one way to prevent more serious damage to the coast. Construction of coastal protection building is expected to maintain the shoreline. Analysis of wind data, tidal data, and soil data is needed to determine height and period of waves, sea level value, and the carrying capacity of the soil in the planning of coastal structures. Besides that, flow analysis using model ADCIRC in program SMS (Surface-water Modelling System) and forecasting changes of shoreline with program GENESIS (Generalized Model for Simulating Shoreline Change) is used to specify an alternative coastal structures within the next few years. Selection of coastal structures using the Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on the AHP scoring system obtained the highest priority value that is coastal structure with seawall construction. Seawall construction is planned along the Tambakharjo coast 1200 and with a Mercu elevation  3 meters to reduce the creeping wave.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of the shape and position of aggregate to compressive strength of matrix. Research conducted so far to say that the aggregate does not really affect the compressive strength of concrete and the opinions of experts who say that the aggregate rounded shaped is the aggregate are best used in the mix concrete . Therefore, there was a suggestion in this study to examine how the aggregate effect of the concrete compressive strength if we use the aggregate shaped beam (angular). That question will be answered by laboratory testing and modeling and analysis using software (SAP 2000). To determine the effect  used variations size of aggregate  measuring 2 x 2 x 5 cm and 2.5 x 1.5 x 5 cm at the time of casting is also variation in the position to determine the aggregate effect on the compressive strength of matrix. Tests conducted with uniaxial loading (one-way) and use the data logger and LVDT (Linear Variable Displacement Transducer), to measure the displacement that occurs. Through this research is expected, in addition to knowing their effects on the compressive strength of concrete, can also determine its relation to the concrete cracking pattern of voltage obtained when testing and validated by using SAP 2000.

Abstract

Bawen terminal development of type B to type A are appropriate for realization in because there are many passengers in the morning and evening when the activity go and return from work in the industrial area located in Semarang district bawen terminal, and for the development of the terminal between the development cost benefit in the can, get back up on the planed budget. Based on the estimated construction costs and financing and management, as well as earnings estimates, Net Benefit Cost Ratio is calculated with current prices the analysis of the complete project. Income tax is calculated in a accordance with the applicable rate of 10% for the first Rp. 50.000.000,00, 50% to Rp. 50.000.000,00 next and 30% for nett income above Rp. 100.000.000,00 tax use only on the year shows earnings. When the company suffered a loss in a year, the losses can be compensated in earnings year up to 5 year later. Before known LHRT MT Haryono road in 2018, need known in 2018 PDRB figures by calculating the future value PDRB in 2011. Annual PDRB growth rate is calculated by averaging the rate PDRB in 2007 to 2011.

Abstract

With the increasing number of residents in the area Banyumanik, then the rank of the need for clean water needs of the population will also rise. Then the distribution network planning needs to be done to improve public services and Semarang in the current period and future. Development of water supply systems for the necessary existence of the concept of planning, designing, implementing, and operating a mature work by considering the social, economic, physical state area, and urban land use. This study aims to determine the water needs until 2021. Analysis of pressure and continuity performed with theoretical analysis and program Epanet as controls, customized to the needs of water every hour.mThe planning construction of water distribution networks in the form of the amount of data required and the conditions of residence as a basis for planning. Projections of future population growth can be calculated from the rate of population growth the last 5 years ie 2007 s / d 2011, obtained data from the Central Bureau and Statistics. And projected population growth is calculated using the geometric method, so that can be projected on the population in the city of Semarang Banyumanik Housing until 2021 amounted to 45.309 people. Need for clean water the planning criteria can be based on water table of DPU Human Settlements, the calculation of the population in 2021 Housing Banyumanik average - average of 98 liters / second and the need for clean water at the peak 147 liters / second. Analysis and planning of water distribution using the program Epanet 2.0. Results from analysis and planning, distribution network to run smoothly until the year 2021 it was replacement of existing piping system that is not enough with PVC pipe along the 715 m Ø250, Ø250 PVC pipe along the 610 m, pipe Ø250 PVC along 199 m. Total budget proposed for the development of water distribution networks in the National Housing Authority Banyumanik is Rp.1.028.000.000, 00. With long work for 24 weeks.

Abstract

Box girder bridge in Indonesia, including new. The intent and purpose of this thesis is to plan the bridge box girder structure. Where bridges with spans plan along 310 m with 2 pillars and different pillar heights. Because there are differences in the height of this bridge inspected by stiffnes balance method to locate deviation and shakes the same time so strong pillar and not collapse. Planning earthquake loads based on the latest regulations (SNI 03-2833-2008 Earthquake Resistance Evaluation Standards for Bridge). Analysis of bridge structures using SAP program. The bottom structure which includes abutment and foundation broom method to determine the shear boundary. The conclusion that can be drawn is necessary to balance stiffnes to know the exact dimensions of the pillars of that bridge is on it can stand firmly. Plastic hinge to determine the maximum acceptable shear pillar and foundation to determine the shear foundation failure not to occur, which can lead to the destruction of the structure.

Abstract

In this research used  aggregate with the diameter of 2 cm and heigth of 5 cm, with the number of 2, is being plant to a mortar concrete, That have a cube and  10 x10 x5cm size, with the position of the aggregate is being variant from vertical to horizontal planted with the ratio of the distance between the two aggregate is 4 cm and 3 cm from its center of gravity point.Making mortarconcrete specimens using Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) using the comparison 1 Pc: 2.75 of sand and 0.485 of water cement ratio conforming with ASTM C 109 (Compressive Strength of Hydraulic Cement mortars) standard. The Test is being held with used of compression test which is Hung Ta with the compressive and displacement data out put is being recorded by data logger and LVDT (Linear Variable Displacement Transducer). The results from research show how different ratio of the distance affect the compressive strength. Specimen with the 4 cm distance ratio horizontal position has highest value strength of concrete mortar. The crack of model is columnar crack following contour  compressive stress and perpendicular tensile stress.

Abstract

Semarang is the capital of Central Java province having many potential, likes economic, social, cultural, and tourism. In increasing the potential of Semarang, need to be supported with adequate the road transport facilities. In some locations, such as Pandanaran street which has a value degrees of saturation (DS) between 0.79-1.02, MH.Thamrin street with DS 0.78, and Pemuda street with DS 0.85. This indicates that on the roads have high traffic density so that it does not cover the possibility in the coming year can increase returns. The purpose of this study is to identify the performance of intersections and road segments and distribution solutions for efficient traffic management by implementing a one way traffic system. The implementation of one way system is expected to produce the traffic an orderly, smoothly, safe, comfortable, and efficient. The research methodology used is descriptive quantitative. This study was preceded by a preliminary literature review and survey and followed by data collection through traffic counting and related measurements. Analysis of data based on mkji 1997 in order to evaluate the performance of existing road and do an analysis by applying a system of one way system. Based on the analysis of performance of the existing conditions on the roads, there are a few low performing street with DS>0.75, as in Pandanaran street with DS 0.79-1.02, MH.Thamrin street with DS 0.78, and Pemuda street with DS 0.85. In addition, existing conditions analysis of the results obtained with low performing “simpang” with DS>0.75, is Simpang Gajah Mada/Depok with DS between 1.09-2.17 and Simpang Pandanaran/MH.Thamrin with DS between 0.92-1.66 and some other parameters, such as capacity, average delay, the length of the queue, the number of vehicles lining up, and the cycle time parameter support. Analysis of the results obtained two scenarios plan offered, scenario 1 (Pemuda street, MH.Thamrin street, Pandanaran street, and Gajah Mada street impose one way system) and scenario 2 (Pemuda street, MH.Thamrin street, and Pandanaran street impose one way system, except Gajah Mada street who keep developing two way system). After compared with method scoring, scenario 2 obtain highest score to street and simpang, is 82 and 28, to create value DS in Pandanaran street being declined between 0.09-0.53 and Pemuda street 0.26; as well as Simpang Gajah Mada/Depok between 0.82-0.87.
