Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk Indonesia yang semakin tinggi menyebabkan meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat di segala aspek kehidupan, termasuk kebutuhan akan sarana transportasi. Jalan Semarang-Solo sebagai salah satu jalur padat di Jawa Tengah, volume lalu lintasnya semakin hari semakin padat melebihi kapasitas jalan, hal ini menyebabkan tidak seluruh volume lalu lintas mampu dilayani oleh jalan tersebut. Pemerintah melalui PT. Trans Marga Jawa Tengah  membangun jalan tol yang menghubungkan Kota Semarang dan Solo sepanjang 75,67 km sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Pembangunan Jalan Tol Semarang-Solo Tahap I ruas Semarang Bawen sesi Penggaron-Beji menggunakan sistem perkerasan kaku cor (Rigid pavement) sebagai desain awal perkerasannya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa desain perkerasan dengan sistem rigid pavement memiliki beberapa kelemahan, sehingga perlu ada desain inovasi untuk meminimalisir kelemahan tersebut. Melalui tahapan rekayasa nilai yaitu tahap informasi, spekulasi, analisis, pengembangan, presentasi dan implementasi diperoleh desain inovasi terpilih yaitu desain perkerasan dengan sistem beton prategang pracetak (PPCP). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem PPCP di proyek dapat mempersingkat waktu pelaksanaan selama 84 hari atau 21% dari desain awal.

Abstract

Assessment of contractor satisfaction towards client performance of government-funded construction projects in Semarang. Research conducted to identify client performance that cause dissatisfaction. Six indicators were used i.e: understanding of project requirements, finance, decision making, management skills, support to contractor, attitude which developed into variable. The contractor satisfaction assessment obtained from Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. Results of analysis client satisfaction performance level and determine the variables that are to be improved. The results can be used as feedback for clients to improve their performance in construction project.

Abstract

Western Region of Semarang beside as center of business, it also as the center of public services so at the peak period the volume of vehicle in some road getting increase. The increase of vehicle’s volume will cause traffic jam. Roads with the traffic jam potential is Sugiyopranoto, Imam Bonjol, and Pemuda. Then the idea of one way traffic management proposed with the purpose to determine the traffic performance at existing condition and provide a recommendation about the better traffic regulation. Observation such as traffic survey has been done on roads and intersections in road network in the west region of Semarang. Analysis of traffic performance based on Indonesia’s Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) 1997 with an analysis of existing saturated conditions at peak hours in the morning, afternoon, and evening as a benchmark for short-term design. One way traffic management that applied are the change of green time at the signalized intersection, the route, traffic diversion by the application of the one way traffic chain on the road network, traffic facilities, and geometric. The analysis result of roads and intersection in the region shows the performance with degree of saturation >0,75. The ideal limit is ≤ 0,75. The result of the intersection analysis also showed unsatisfactory performance. The degree of saturation is high and delay time of intersection still large.so the one way traffic management applied on the Sugiyopranoto road, the entire segment of Imam Bonjol Road, The entire segment of Pemuda road, and Pierre Tendean road. The intersection changes is by removing the signal of Poncol intersection and Tendean intersection. Several signal at Tugumuda intersection suchas signal from Sugiyopranoto, signal from Pemuda, and the signal in front of Sutomo also removed. The results of the analysis for one-way condition showed better performance. The traffic flow is also distributed optimally. The based parameter is the change of speed and pace time that can be felt directly by road users. The design for the implementation of one-way traffic system can be said good for the treatment of short-term problems. The conclusion that can be drawn is the performance of roads and intersections in the West Region Semarang get better when applied to one-way traffic management.

Abstract

Nowadays the progress of Semarang city is getting rapid, many shop centers rises in golden triangle areas, that are (St. Gajah Mada, St. Pemuda and St. Pandanaran). Most of people use their car or motorbike to do their activities through those streets. This condition caused the higher mobility each year and makes parking lots become important thing in transportation system. The problems about parking lots is important to research. The necessary of parking lot should be available. The bigger traffic volume makes bigger necessary of parking lot. If it does not enough, cars may take the spaces beside of road to park, and this caused some disruptions to others. This research will analyze the effects of traffic of Gumaya Tower Hotel which located at Gajah Mada street number 59-61 Semarang. Maximum accumulation method and queue theory are used in this research. Prymary data which necessary such as amount of car, time-parking, and service system. Whereas for secondary data to analyze traffic growth is car ownership data in semarang.  The conclusion of this research is that effect of traffic  in gumaya tower hotel area caused by the entrace and exit of hotel that not really good so can offend people who use gajah mada street.

Abstract

This final project consists of redesign of Berdikari-Kali Garang Bridge by using Prestressed Box Girder Concrete. The construction method that is used in this project is segmental box girder. And for the prestressed system, the type of cantilever is based on the consideration of the length of this bridge which has 240 meters length, and is devided into 3 quarters, which are : 60 m + 120 m + 60 m. The design of this bridge begins with the explaination of the background for the choice of the bridge type, the purpose for this study is followed with the fundamental of design, which is analyzed is based on the BMS ’92. from the original data, the preliminary design is done by determining the main dimension of the bridge. In the initial phase, the design of load analyzed are used. Load analyze are self weight, dead load, additional weight, traffic load, and time analyze because of creep, and loss of prestressed. From the analyze, than did the allowable stress control. After, did the box reinforcement calculation, allowable deflection, shear calculation, strength and stability calculation which are crack moment control, limit moment, divided force, and torque. At the end of design stage is did the support design. Upon completion stage box, then do the structural design under the initial step to determine cross-sectional dimensions of the pillars and abutments plan which will be calculated ultimate load that will be used to analyze the strength of pillars and abutments. Recent stages of planning the foundation pillars and abutments. The end result of this planning and cross section shape. Where that will be calculated from the price of the building to be used.

Abstract

The results of the performance evaluation BST corridor I obtained some indicators that meet the standards of the Department of Transportation and the World Bank that headway, speed, travel time on Saturday and Sunday, as well as most of the distance between the shelter, while the load factor is still below the standard which is still less than 70 %. Load factor due to non-fulfillment by the results of the questionnaires are reluctant to switch to using BST for several reasons including watu waiting periods, the route less BST, BST facilities are lacking, long travel times BST, is also proved from the results of the survey where the travel time for the day Monday more than 3 hours. Despite the low load factor based on the analysis of vehicle operating costs BST rate applicable experience keutungan that will be able to meet the operational costs of vehicles. With the results of the analysis did not meet the standard, it can be improved by adding corridors that intersect with the corridor so that the people I want to switch to using BST as it has many routes. Making other transport as feeder so that the corridor I just BST operate and can facilitate people to the shelter BST which will be raising load factor.Contra flow system on the road Slamet Riyadi tracking and bus priority at junctions can shorten travel times BST faster. With that expected performance can be optimized BST serve passengers and non-users can switch to using a BST as a mode of daily transportation.

Abstract

Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang is one of the biggest airports in Central Java. Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang connecting various cities in Indonesia, especially Jakarta and Surabaya as well as the city to city which is on the island of Borneo. The number of passengers in the year 2010 amounted to 2,017,952 passengers. To get the service aircraft needs to be provided for the passenger waiting area before departure. The problems that arise are less than the requirement for a seat on the airport passenger terminal, in particular the departure lounge during peak hours and the occurrence of delayed. Data processing using queuing theory that the intensity obtained on 24th November 2012, at ρ = 0.9 <1 and 25th November 2012  ρ = 1.09 > 1 and obtained the optimum amount of seating as many as 269 on 24th November 2012 and 322 on  25th  November 2012 at a cost of airport tax of  analysis  is Rp 38,000.00 while the number of seats as many as 315 existing condition with the existing airport tax fee is Rp 35,000.00.

Abstract

Mortar merupakan material yang tersusun dari pasir dan semen. Setelah proses pencampuran dengan air, maka pada mortar akan terbentuk rongga-rongga yang sangat kecil. Penelitian ini menggunakan material Fly Ash sebagai bahan tambahan pada mortar, dimana Fly Ash yang memiliki gradasi lebih kecil dari pasir diharapkan dapat mengisi rongga-rongga yang ditinggalkan saat proses pencampuran mortar. Fly Ash yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan bahan sisa dari pembakaran batu bara PLTU Jepara, sehingga diharapkan dengan penggunaan Fly Ash ini juga dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi lingkungan dengan mereduksi limbah. Prinsip pengisian rongga dengan penambahan Fly Ash  akan dikembangkan lebih jauh lagi pada penelitian ini, yaitu dengan menyadur teknologi untuk mengecilkan ukuran (teknologi nano) dengan menggunakan alat Planetary Ball Mill (PBM) yang akan diterapkan pada Fly Ash, sehingga menciptakan Fly Ash Nano. Dengan semakin mengecilnya ukuran Fly Ash menjadi Fly Ash nano, maka Fly Ash diharapkan dapat mengisi rongga yang lebih kecil lagi sehingga didapat kuat tekan yang lebih besar.  Pada penelitian ini digunakan 3 variasi mortar yaitu Mortar Normal (MN), Mortal Fly Ash (MFA), dan Mortar Nano Fly Ash (MNFA), dengan variasi komposisi  penambahan  Fly Ash dan Nano Fly Ash  berkisar antara 0% hingga 20%. Adapun  perbandingan semen dan pasir digunakan sebesar 1 : 2,75, dengan besarnya FAS adalah 0,485. Dalam rangka mendapatkan hasil penelitian, maka benda uji akan dibuat ke dalam ukuran kubus 5 x 5 x 5 cm, dan akan diuji kuat tekannya dengan alat Universal Testing Machine di laboratorium bahan dan bangunan Teknik Sipil Universitas Diponegoro. Data kuat tekan tersebut akan dianalisa sehingga didapatkan perbandingan nilai kuat tekan antara benda uji MN sebagai benda uji kontrol, terhadap MFA dan MNFA, sehingga dapat dilihat kenaikan kuat tekan dengan penambahan Fly Ash maupun Nano Fly Ash. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa penambahan material Fly Ash memberikan kontribusi terhadap Kuat Tekan Mortar. Hasil lebih baik ditunjukkan dengan penambahan Nano Fly Ash, dengan kuat tekan dari Mortar Nano Fly Ash mencapai 180%  dari kuat tekan Mortar Normal. Dengan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknologi nano akan meningkatkan kuat tekan mortar.

Abstract

This Final Project contained about the stability of the soil and it countermeasures on roads Prupuk - Bts. Banyumas, Ciregol, sub-district. Tonjong, district of Brebes. The Landscape around Ciregol is topography ridge sloping area that is very close to the river valley times pedes and prone to landslide. This road is a national road that connects the Tegal city - Purwokerto city and including the road class II which is  built to connect the regions, thus supporting economic growth in the region and surrounding Ciregol. This road crosses the hills that contain layers of silt, sand and clay stone. Slope landslide occurred on roads Prupuk - Bts. Banyumas KM. PKL. 115+650  and between range time of February to March 2012 has occurred 4 times landslides. This final project analyzes value of the slope safety factor that included a condition when occured of the movement of soil slopes which is caused by instability on slopes due to degradation of soil layers / rocks, manual calculation of slope stability using Fellinius method and Plaxis computer program . Location of countermeasures is taken along 100 m  from KM. PKL 115 +550 to KM. PKL 115 +650. From the analysis of data and computation known that the slip field of slope occurs at a depth of -28.5 m from the road surface. To deal with it,we try to used the alternative form to handling of landslides with reinforcement bored pile, each is 90 m and 25.6 m to the direction of for the transverse direction are applied to the cut slip field along the ridge of slope and combined with  reinforcement soil retaining walls, geotextile or gabion each tried installed at the same location at the foot of the slopes. Geotechnical analysis using Plaxis software. Model of plastic elastic  and collapse criterion  of Mohr-Coulomb chosen as the soil model . The analysis showed that reinforcement landslide with bored pile with diameter of 1.5 m is placed at the top, middle and bottom of the slope to a depth of 37 m, respectively, 37 m and 30 m in combination with the soil retaining wall at the foot of the slopes as high as 15 m with a thickness of 2-4 m is handling that has increased the value of the safety factor, where the factor of safety of the existing condition of the original which is from 1,053 become 1,536, but if considered from the results of Incremental Shear strains apparently it still has  little potential for landslides at the top of the slope, so  it added with the use of geotextile reinforcement on the upper slopes as high as 5 meters to overcome it. Safety factor with the additional reinforcement is increased to 1.973.

Abstract

Juana river’s located in two administrative regions Kudus and Pati had superficial. This is because the slope of the river is quite gentle and the level of environmental degradation in the watershed (DAS) Juana river’s have increased. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to plan the construction of sediment control (check dams) to reduce sedimentation along the river and optimize the function of the Juana river’s. Planning is performed on Dawe river’s ,the branch of Juana river’s. From the calculation results obtained 7 m high main dam, main dam foundation depth of 2,8 m, width of crest main dam 32 m, the water level above the crest 1,60 m, high freeboard 0,6 m, thick of main dam crest wing 2 mand capacity of sediments for 20.851,063  m³. The total cost needed to build the check dam Dawe river’s is Rp. 6.511.846.000,00 already includes VAT and 23 weeks old craftsmanship.
