Abstract

Structure design of Semarang Health Polytechnic building was designed with SNI 2847-2013 and SNI 1726-2012, Semarang Health Polytechnic building structures was included in Seismic Design Criteria Type D with high seismic risk level, so in designing the building used special moment resisting frames system method. It also used the concept of capacity design. The purpose of this concept if the strong earthquake is occur, plastic hinges can be formed on the element beams structure. In order to ensure plastic hinges are formed on the beams, the columns should be designed to be stronger than the beams (Strong Column Weak Beam). The foundation was designed as caisson foundation, because the soil in that area was hard soil type. The results of the structural analysis show that the building was safe analytically.

Abstract

Semarang has two major channels namely Kanal Banjir Timr (KBT) and the Kanal Banjir Barat (KBB). KBT is a canal that functioned as a flood control of the eastern city of Semarang. The existing condition of KBT is no longer able to accommodate the existing flood discharge. At the end of March 2015, KBT overflowed and inundated the residential areas around it. The decrease capacity of KBT are caused by the high of sedimentation, isn’t appropriate river space, and garbage. Therefore, proper handling efforts are needed to improve KBT. The aim of this study is to design a plan of KBT. The concept of river restoration considers not only hydraulic aspect, but also environment around the river (Maryono, 2007). The design of KBT is divided into three steps, first step is hydrology analysis, second step is hydraulics analysis and the third is the step of design. The aim of hydrological analysis is to determine the flood discharge with the HSS Gama I method. The aim of hydraulics analysis is to determine the dimension of the KBT that able to accommodate the flood discharge using HEC-RAS software. The third step is to create a landscape designs of KBT space area and estimate the cost needed. Based on this study, the proposed discharge Q 50-year is 518.29 m3/sec. To accommodate the discharge the demension of KBT is enlarged from 21.2 m to 23 m at the upstream, from 35.7 m to 40 m at the middle stream and from 55.4 m to 65 m at the downstream. In the border area and the banks of the canal changes into green space area, parks and sports facilities area. Total costs required to implement them is Rp . 118,848,568,000.00 (A Hundred Eighteen Billion Eight Hundred Forty Eight Million Five Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand Rupias).

Abstract

Halim Perdanakusuma airport is one of military airport which placed in DKI Jakarta. Since Soekarno-Hatta airport has been crowded on January 10th 2014, Halim Perdanakusuma airport has became Commercial airport formally and military airport (The office of Indonesian airport) too. It is based on Soekarno-Hatta airport’s capacity that not able to accommodate airplane movement, increasing runway and developing airport’s capacity. Therefore, needed an analysis of Halim Perdanakusuma ability in air side which is able to accommodate military airplane movement and commercial airplane based on existing. The methodology sequence that used to write this thesis is contain data collecting by field observation to getting primary data air traffic and secondary data from airport management in the form of flight schedule data, the existing condition of the airport that processed with a mathematical perspective. The calculating by modeling methods; arrival flight, take off and mixed operation. Based on current condition of existing, Halim Perdanakusuma airport has 1 runway which 3000 meters long 45 meters width, 5 taxiways for commercial and 3 for military, 1 main-apron on 88.787,5 m2 areas which able to accommodate 14 airplanes type boeing 737-900 and 3-sized Cessna airplane. According to the calculation, Halim’s air traffic in mixed operation was 15 ops/hour, Halim needed 9 gates to reach it’s maximum operating according to those traffic, needed 49.059,5 m2 areas of apron, with taxiway capacities 70-90 ops/hour. Based on those result, Halim Perdanakusuma airport is very maximum operating with just the management adjustments, because all its elements in tolerant and it can fulfill the minimum standards in all aspects.

Abstract

The structure of @HOM Hotel Kudus building design by SNI 03-1726-2012. To obtain ductile structure, special moment resisting frame (SRPMK) used. The analysis of the structure using SAP2000 software. Loading structure refers to SNI 03-1727-2013. Required for earthquake resistant buildings should not happen bristle failure. Thus the plastic hinge detail and beam-column joint must be calculated correctly. Lateral deflection requirements beetween floors should be controlled so that the stiffness of structure is not soft.

Abstract

Several places in Indonesia have high vulnerability of tsunami. It can be seen from the facilities and infrastructures damages on several coastal areas caused by tsunami. Itcauses many victims. To minimize the risk of victims while tsunami occurs, need to prepare the rescuing strategies. One of those is providing temporary evacuation places for the coastal areas that can protect the local society from tsunami, including them are hidrodinamis, the buoyant force, hidrodinamik and impulsive, collision, lift hidrodinamik, and effects damming of debris is carried away water. In order to anticipate the tsunami, the temporary shelter should be designed to resist tsunami and earthquake loading.
