Abstract

Kabupaten Sukamara is a currently growing Kabupaten, especially Kecamatan Balai Riam and Kecamatan Permata Kecubung, but the location is difficult to reach and can be said isolated. One of the aspect that can improve and develop Kabupaten Sukamara is transportation, because the transportation facilities and infrastructure that exist currently is very low in Kabupaten Sukamara, in this case, especially the road which connects the villages because the lack of road development as a rural access. The methodology used for analyze the performance of the road is by calculate the number of trip generation based on the population of study area based on method developed by the Ministry of Public Works for planning transportation of urban road which belong to the small town category. The next step is to analyze the amount of trip that generates Origin Destination Matrice (OD) by using Double Constrain Gravity method (DCGR), assign OD matrice to the road network by using EMME 3.4.1 and calculate the road capacity,then calculate and analyze volume capacity ratio (VCR) based on the assignment result and the road capacity calculation. By determining the 20 year plan, the prediction of trip generation of Kabupaten Sukamara is 235.023 people/day. Based on OD matrice, can be known that the closer the distance trip, the greater the trip that occur and vice versa. From the calculation, the capacity of the collector road is 1.197 smp/hour, local road is 856 smp/hour and small road is 838 smp/hour. From the assignment result, the largest trip volume is 314 smp/hour and the smallest is 1 smp/hour, so the largest VCR value is 0,279 which means VCR < 0,8 for every road that connects the villages. Therefore, the performance condition of the entire road that connects the villages can be concluded stable/safe.

Abstract

There are limitations on the land development in TPKS lead to make reclamation land with non levee and levee method.The strength of steel pile and batter pile structure construction in each method will be analyzed using Plaxis 2D. The analysis result from Plaxis 2D are safety factor and structure force. The result from first variation uses non levee method has safety factor about 1,27 and has additional cost about Rp.3,880,854,789 from contract (second B variation); the result from second A variation uses levee method with dredging until – 9 m has safety factor about 1,4203 and save the cost about Rp.1,193,035,512 from contract (second B variation); the result from second B variation uses levee method with dredging until – 12,5 m has safety factor about 1.3387 and cost equal to contract about Rp. 211,090,224,932; the result from third variation uses levee method with add geotextile has safety factor about 1,6614 and has additonal cost about Rp.1,233,863,485 from contract (second B variation); the result from fourth variation uses levee method with add anchor has safety factor about 2,3044 and has additional cost about Rp.3,963,658,400 from contract (second B variation). Comparation between non levee method and levee method has result that levee method is better than non levee method.

Abstract

Ungaran Low Cost Apartment located at Karimunjawa street, Gedanganak, West Ungaran. This Low Cost Apartment consist of 5 level floors designed using precast concrete systems. The Building is designed with a Special Moment Resisting Frames (SMRF) for it structure system. This building design based on procedure for calculation of concrete structure for building (SNI 03-2487-2002), Earthquake resilience planning procedures for non structural building and building (SNI 1726-2012), and value of earthquake parameter response was download from Ministry of Public Work’s website. In order to easier building structure analysis, design of Ungaran low cost apartment are helped by SAP.2000 version 14 and PCA COL program.Choosing the precast method is important thing, because one of the weakness of the precast system is on connection between it’s elements. Ungaran low cost apartment designed using Adhi BCS (Beam Coloumn Slab) system. Characteristic of Adhi BCS system is additional concrete topping above plate and beam that adding rigidity it’s structure.

Abstract

The problems of the coastal area in Sei Raja Beach were retreat of the coastline, sedimentation in river mouth of Raja River, destruction of existing shore protection structure such as groin and jetty which was caused of wave. The objective of the final project is to model and to design the right shore structures to protect the shore from abrasion in Sei Raja Beach. The area which planned is around 3,1 km include the river mouth of Raja River. The analysis result of waverose shows that dominant wave comes from the south. It is about 68,61% from the data in 23 years. The current movement pattern and tide is simulated by the SMS V.10 program (Surface Water Modelling System). The prediction of coastline changed is simulated by GENESIS (Generalized Model for Simulating Shoreline Change) with wave input per-hour for a year. The shoreline protection is analyzed based on function and economical value. The combination between revetment, jetty, groin and breakwater is chosen to protect the shore of Sei Raja. The western revetment are designed along 522 m and the eastern revetment are designed along 651 m. The western revetment and the eastern revetment are made of concrete cube for armour layer and crushed stone for core layer. Twins jetty which made of concrete cubes for armour layer and crushed stones for secondary and core layer are built with a length of 150 m. The groin is planed on the west side with the length of 75 m. The groin is used of crushed stones for armour and core layer. The existing breakwater is rehabilitated by adding concrete cubes.

Abstract

The construction development which grows fast in Indonesia is causing needs of supporting technology that give more efficiency yet it also has to be more effective. Technological developments in the field of construction is giving a system called Building Information Modelling (BIM) as a result. Before BIM, we already aware of AutoCAD, SAP, Ms.Project that have been used for project planning, the use of these softwares take a lot of time because they can’t be integrated, so it need more cost, human resources and time to for a project planning. BIM encourage the exchange between different diciplines, so that this exchange process could get faster and affecting the costruction itself in a good way. Currently in Indonesia, there are a lot of construction workers who haven’t use BIM technology, even acknowledge about the benefits it gave, while in fact, BIM have so many excellences compared to the common technology that have been used. Thus, writers do this research to acknowledge about comparison between BIM and conventional methods. Writers are using three methods, they are questionnaires, interviews and a case study, to acknowledge about the performance of BIM. With case studies planning of 20 storey building made comparisons between the efficiency of conventional methods with BIM concept in need of time, human resources and costs for project planning.This study concluded that the use of the application with the concept of BIM can accelerate project planning time by ± 50%, BIM reduces the human resources needs by 26,66%, and saving personnel costs to 52,25% as compared to using conventional method.

Abstract

Based on WHO research in 2010 shows growth of motorcycles in Indonesia reached 60 million units with proportion of 83% compared to other vehicle types (Helmi, 2015). Motorcycles are the smallest vehicle that has the mobility and maneuverability of high movement. At the time of the green phase, motorcycles struggling to get out from the intersection and continue the journey. The movement of motorcycle can cause conflict with the car or with other motorcycles. Studies conducted by M. Idris in Bandung in 2007 produced Advanced Stop Lines (ASL) for motorcycles can reduce traffic conflicts up to 72% and 11-12% streamlined of traffic flow (Faundra, 2012). The purpose of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of the Advanced Stop Lines (ASL) for motorcycles at the intersection with different characteristics in Semarang. The parameters used in this research are existing conditions, real conditions, the percentage of occupancy ASL, and hypothesis testing comparison. The research method is done by simulating ASL in three arms at signalized intersections in Semarang. Hypothesis test comparison is done by using the hypothesis H0 if the volume of vehicles before they are applied equally to the post applied ASL. The results of this study can be concluded that based on the hypothesis test comparison there is only one research location hypothesis is accepted. ASL for three research locations affect the number of vehicle volume, long queues, and Degree of Saturation. ASL has not seen optimal of the three research locations. It because of geometry conditions are different on three research location , improper lane width, the existence of the island roads, and a left turn on red lane. To be more optimal use of ASL should refers to the rules applicable at the selection of sites that will be imposed ASL.

Abstract

Work on the building project requires a material that is more complex and involves many parties so that the building project has a high complexity compared to other civilian buildings. One of the complexity of such problems in the procurement of materials. Some of the things that causes this problem is the existence of an uncertainty in the supply of construction materials. Reinforcement steel is the main ingredient in development , especially the construction of the building. The need of reinforcing steel required at each work ranging from foundation work , beams , plates and columns. Therefore, the availability of steel reinforcement is a major priority so that there should be no delay in procurement. Delays of this material may be caused by uncertainties in procurement activity. Uncertainties in the procurement of materials sourced from four stages: stage supply chain activities supply, control, process, and demand. The stages of the supply chain to be a reference to analyze the possibility of delays in the procurement of a material. Thus, this study aims to determine how much time minimum and maximum time delay procurement of materials, the maximum possible delay in work activities and work activities that are most likely and dominant risk that affects the delay procurement of materials for steel material. The major delays in the procurement of material obtained from the analysis of probability and risk impact with monte carlo method and application assistance crystal ball. In the procurement of steel material analysis showed that a minimum delay of 2.20 days,17.05 days maximum, the maximum possible delay in work activities 15.05 days, and delays in work activities that are most likely 9.24 days. Sources of risk that affect the delay is on the demand stage that ordering additional material due to design changes, material delivery delays due to financial problems, and ordering additional material due to changes of function space.

Abstract

Brantas Bridge is a bridge which includes the construction of Solo-Kertosono toll road development located on the river Brantas, District Patianrowo, Kertosono, Nganjuk, East Java. Total length of Brantas bridge about 890 m, for planning this bridge which relatively long, it needs several different methods, one of them is using slab on pile method on the part of approach bridge. The structure of slab on pile bridge of Brantas river planned to use precast prestressed concrete systems for plate elements. Loading standart on the structure refers to the SNI T-02-2005 (Standar Pembebanan Untuk Jembatan). Analysis and modelling structure was done by 3 steps are structure that has already function, when elevation of precast element, and when installation of precast element. The analysis of structure modeling done by support of SAP2000 software. The results of planning show that bridge structure of slab on pile in Brantas river was safe by analysis.

Abstract

Retrofitting structures can be done if a building has undergone a change of function, so that the load plan will be exceeded or because of changes in design criteria. Changes in design rules from SNI 03-1726-2002 to SNI 03-1726-2012, resulting in calculated load in the structure becomes larger. The condition occurs causing the need for investigation of the strengths of existing structures. The forces that need to be taken into account in the structure may be greater than the original design. Retrofitting alternatives that can be provided by giving FRP or Fibre Reinforced Polymer. In the use of FRP as reinforcement structure, issues to consider is about the bond between FRP with concrete. The influence of bond due to tensile and shear force that occurs can affects the destruction of the structure. The study by Tudjono et al. (2015) have shown that the beams reinforced with FRP without surface treatment can affect debonding between FRP to concrete. Therefore this study examines the effect of concrete surface roughness due to tensile and shear. From this study, it was concluded that the concrete that do not surface treatment can allow debonding. Treatment of roughness longitudinal, transverse, diagonal, and the cross type gives the same results as effective as compared to plain type. So that on the application in field, the easy surface treatment is selected.

Abstract

Poor supervision in the project execution can cause a mediocre performance of construction quality, including concrete quality. Structural Strength Evaluation on the seven stories building, building H of Dian Nuswantoro University has demonstrated the impacts of poor performance of these concrete qualities. The concrete quality have been designed by K250, ,and decrease to K150 because of that poor supervision from level 1 to 3. The function of first three levels are supporting four stories above by concrete quality K300.The impact evaluation of different concrete quality on the building H is undertaken by comparative assessment throughout three SNI, they are SNI 03-1726-2012, SNI 03-2847-2013, and SNI 1727-2013.Structural evaluation is undertaken by three dimensional simulation method from the field data information. Based upon the structural simulation, therefore the main structure need a strengthening to support the service load of the building H. The result of structural analysis due to the standard found that some of beam elements need a strengthening by enlarging section area and increasing reinforcement ratio of the column.
