Abstract

In 2016, JCI experienced the highest decline in the history of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, but in 2017 to 2018 it experienced a very high increase up to the point of 6,000, in that same year Islamic and conventional stock indexes experienced a volume increase of 167% for Islamic stocks and 130% for conventional shares. With an increase of this magnitude whether Islamic stocks show better profits than conventional stocks ,This research arranged to know the difference of average Return and Risk of sharia stock in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and conventional stock in IDX30 in the period 2014 until 2018. The type of this research is descriptive research with quantitative approach. The location of this research is the website of Indonesia Stock Exchange www.idx.co.id as a secondary data’s provider which provide issuer’s names included in JII and IDX30 and closing price of monthly stock period 2014 until 2018. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive and inferential statistic analysis. The results of descriptive analysis within 5 years showed that the average return of sharia stock is 0,185328952 or 18.5% while the average return of conventional stock is 0,174286182 or 17,42%. The Risk level of Sharia stock fora period of 5 years is 0,04180884 or 4,1% while the level of risk of conventional stock is 0,047664339 or 4,76%. Based on the results of inferential analysis by using different test (Independent Sample t-test) obtained result that there is no significant difference between return and risk of sharia stock with conventional stock.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on purchasing decisions Gadjah Mada K-24 Pharmacy, to analyze the effect of prices on purchasing decisions Gadjah Mada K-24 Pharmacy, and to analyze the effect of Service Quality and Price on purchasing decisions at Gadjah M-24 Pharmacy Mada In this study the population in question is the consumer of the Gadjah Mada K-24 Pharmacy. This population is infinite in number so action is needed in sampling for research. The sample in this study were consumers of the K-24 Gadjah Mada Pharmacy as many as 100 respondents. Sampling of 100 refers to Cooper and Emory's theory which assumes that the population is infinite. The sampling technique in this study uses Nonprobability Sampling with purposive sampling and accidental sampling techniques. The conclusion of this study is the quality of service at Gadjah Mada K-24 Pharmacy No. 40 Yogyakarta has been classified as good, the price at Gadjah Mada K-24 Pharmacy No. 40 Yogyakarta has been classified as good, the Purchasing Decision at Gadjah Mada K-24 Pharmacy No. 40 Yogyakarta has been classified as fine good, service quality has a negative relationship, and service quality and price variables not significaton to the decision variable

Abstract

Competition in online business via e-commerce that more tight makes the e-commerce companies need to increase consumer decisions to buy products, in order to be able to survive and continue to get profit. This research was conducted with aim of examine Brand Image and Website Quality on the purchase decision through e-trust as an intervening variable. This research is quantitative study that uses explanatory research methods or explanative types. The sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling approach. Where the population is all Zalora.co.id consumers in Semarang City, while the sample is 100 Zalora.co.id consumers with certain criteria carried out. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires. The analysis used in this study is linear regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 for Windows software and mediation test (sobel test) to test the mediating effect of intervening variables. Based on the results of this research indicate that Brand Image and Website Quality has a partial and simultaneous effect on e-trust, which when they together with Website Quality it has the greatest influence on e-trust. In addition, Zalora.co.id also has to improve the quality of its website by making an attractive website appearance, increasing the confidence of website users to trust the information provided by the website, the effectiveness and suitability of information added on the website, security in providing personal data, and make it easier for websites to communicate with companies, Zalora.co.id, so this will increase trust, which in turn increases Zalora.co.id's consumer purchasing decisions.Keywords: Brand Image, Website Quality, E-Trust, and Purchasing Decisions.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce competition between e-commerce makes the company need to increase the consumers satisfaction through product quality and service quality, so they can survive and continue to get profits. This research was conducted with the aim of examining the effect of product quality and service quality through consumer satisfaction at Lazada.This research is quantitative research that uses explanatory type. Sampling technique uses non probability sampling and purposive sampling approach. Where the population is all Lazada consumers in Universitas Diponegoro Semarang, while the sample is 100 Lazada consumers with certain criteria carried out. Data collection techniques using google form and interviews.The analysis used in this study is linear regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that product quality and service quality have a significant effect on customer satisfaction.Based on the results of research Lazada must increase consumer satisfaction by increasing product quality through product durability, quality of the product packaging and more careful on processing order so the ordered product will match with the one that consumer accept. In addition Lazada also needs to notice quality service for more responsive in serving consumer and faster in giving solution on consumer complaint, also strive for timely delivery of goods estimated. So that it will increase consumer satisfaction at Lazada.

Abstract

The technical and fundamental analysis is the solution by the investor to predict the stock price. Especially, this research discusses about the fundamental analysis by appraising the companies performance which is depicted on the companies financial report with ratio as tool to analyze the financial report. By using the financial ratio, it can be predicted by the investor about the companies condition, so that it would be a basis for the investors for choosing the companies that have a higher return level than the loss risks. The aim of this research are to test the influences of Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) toward stock’s Return. The sampel in this research is the 13 companies that are listed on the sub-sectored stock in metal during the period of 2013-2017. Data analysis use the linier regression analysis with run SPSS 21.0. The result from this research shows that Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), dan Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) have significant effect on the stock’s return. The independent variable simultaneously have significant effect on the stock’s return. As suggestion, the company should identified the assets that have a potential to support the companies procedure, optimize the modal’s usage, and optimize the debt management.

Abstract

Wardah as one of the leading cosmetic producers in the homeland need to maintain the loyalty of its customers to be able to stay in the middle of strict cosmetic competition. Demands of good cosmetic needs at affordable prices, making the producers who are engaged in the field of cosmetics are continuously innovating to produce products at affordable prices but the quality is well assured. The price is a significant determinant in the cosmetic industry to keep consumers using Wardah products. With good product quality, consumers will survive on a product if the quality of products offered in accordance with consumer expectations. Customer loyalty is a form of customer loyalty to continue using products originating from the same company. Wardah as one of the leading cosmetic producers in the homeland needs to keep its customers loyalty to continue to survive amid intense competition. This research aims to know the effect of price (X1) and product quality (X2) on loyalty (Y) through customer satisfaction (Z) cosmetic user Wardah in Semarang city. This type of research uses explanatory research with data collection techniques through interviews and data collection tools using questionnaires. The data sources in this study are primary data and secondary data. Sampling techniques in this study used purposive sampling and non probability sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents in the city of Semarang. Technical analysis uses simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T-Test, and F-Test with SPSS version 21.00. The results of the analysis with SPSS 21.0  explained that the results of the direct influence test on the research model showed positive and significant results. The indirect effect test on the research model also showed positive and significant results. Based on the research, researchers suggest that Wardah is more listening to the user's voice about the quality of its products, where users complain about the quality of products that are deemed to be less appropriate to the expectations of the user. While the price is considered to be in accordance with Wardah cosmetic products

Abstract

Quality human resources were one of the key factors for the success of a business.  Based on the data obtained, employee performance at telogorejo hospital in semarang shows fluctuating figures that tended to decrease in 2018.  Through the results of preliminary studies, it could be seen that there were indications of a decrease in employee job satisfaction caused by compensation and work motivation.  Thus, decreased job satisfaction was thought to caused a decrease in employee performance.  This typed of researched was explanatory researched that explains between variables through hypothesis testing.  Sampling using a convenience sampling technique as many as 177 respondents who were nurses telogorejo hospital semarang.Data collection techniques using questionnaires and literature studied.  This researched uses quantitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, regression analysis, t-test with the help of ibm spss version 16. 0 and sobel analysis to test the effect of intervening variables.  Based on the results of the studied indicate that compensation and work motivation partially had a significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction had a significant effect on performance, job satisfaction could mediate the effect of compensation on performance as a partial intervening variable and could mediate the effect of work motivation on performance as a partial intervening variable.  The advice given to improved employee performance was to considered nurses' input on the policy of base salary that must be adjusted to the workability of nurses, as well as to determine the number of individual achievement incentives.  To increase work motivation by applying a sensed of openness between nurses and company leaders as well as establishing fraternal relations between each nurse, and regular training needs to be held to improved the ability of nurses in providing health services so that it will affect nurse job satisfaction which ultimately affects employee performance.

Abstract

Along with outgrowth the times that demands compliance the needs and needs of service users for package delivery, PT Pos Indonesia Johar Market Semarang City needs to do a marketing strategy, namely by improving the quality services offered by the company, pricing according to the services offered by the company, and the corporate image which will make service users make service usage decision. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, price, and corporate image on service usage decisions of PT Pos Indonesia Johar Market Semarang City. This type of research is explanatory. The sampling technique uses a nonprobability sampling technique with the type of sampling used are incidental sampling and purposive sampling. The number of samples taken is 100 respondents who have made service usage decisions of PT Pos Indonesia Johar Market Semarang City. This research is testing using statistics with the help of IBM SPSS version 21.0 system. The results showed that service quality has a significant effect on service usage decisions by contributing 42.9%, price has a significant effect on service usage decisions by contributing 36.6%, and corporate image has a significant effect on service usage decisions by contributing 47,4%. While the rest is influenced by other factors besides service quality, price, and corporate image. Based on the calculation of the F Test shows that service quality, price, and corporate image significant influence on service usage decision.

Abstract

Performance is a picture of the level of achievement of the implementation of an activity or program or policy in realizing the goal, aim, mission, and vision of the organization as stated in the strategic plan. In this case, company expects high performance. But based on data obtained from BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office shows fluctuation in the financial and customer achievements on savings and loan transaction from 2017 to mid 2019. It is suspected that the fluctuation is caused by factors of organization culture and leadership, so this research aims to determine wether corporate culture and leadership have an influence on performance of BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office. The type of this research is explanatory research, there is 50 respondents was taken as samples from 99 employees. Sampling techniques using simple random sampling and data collection techniques using questionnaire, interview, and literature study. The analytical tool used is SPSS 21.0 with a validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient test, correlation determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, t test and F test. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the corporate culture and leadership influence the performance of BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office as evidenced through multiple regression testing resulting in regression values of 0.176 and 0.376. BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office needs to ensure that all employees implement the organization culture (BRILian) to the maximum, being able to treat and coordinate employes well in order to achieve company goals and improve company performance.

Abstract

CV. Indonesia Live Garment is a garment company that working on clothing and pants orders from domestic and foreign brands. However, there are still employees who have low performance such as employees unable to achieve targets, the products produced are not in accordance with quality, and can not complete their work on time. This is allegedly because leadership has not been implemented properly and employee competencies are still low. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and employee competence on the performance of sewing employees in the CV. Indonesia Live Garment. The type of research used is explanatory research. The sample used as many as 50 respondents in the sewing department employees CV. Indonesia Live Garment. Data collection using a questionnaire with a likert measurement scale. The results showed that the leadership and employee competency variables partially influenced employee performance positively and significantly with the regression coefficient values on the leadership variable (0.355) and employee competence (0.415) and the t-value of the leadership variable (2,593) and employee competency (3,085) ) affect employee performance positively and significantly with the multiple regression coefficient values of leadership variables (0.320) and employee competencies (0.385) with F-count (8.433).
