JuSTISe: Journal Data Science, Technology, Informatics and Security
JuSTISe: Journal Data Science, Technology, Informatics and Security adalah jurnal ilmiah nasional yang ditinjau oleh sejawat (peer-reviewed) dan diterbitkan oleh Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia. Jurnal ini berfokus pada publikasi hasil penelitian berkualitas tinggi di bidang ilmu data (data science), teknologi informasi, rekayasa informatika, keamanan siber, dan sistem digital. JuSTISe bertujuan menjadi wadah yang kredibel bagi akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi untuk menyebarluaskan hasil penelitian asli serta artikel tinjauan yang berkaitan dengan kecerdasan buatan, analitik big data, rekayasa perangkat lunak, keamanan jaringan, dan sistem informasi. Jurnal ini menekankan pada penelitian teoritis maupun terapan yang berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan teknologi dan inovasi di era digital. Seluruh naskah yang dikirimkan akan melalui proses penelaahan sejawat (peer-review) yang ketat untuk memastikan kualitas dan integritas akademik. JuSTISe menerima naskah dari penulis nasional maupun internasional, dan seluruh artikel diterbitkan dalam bahasa Inggris untuk menjangkau audiens global. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun (Juni dan Desember) dan berkomitmen untuk mendukung pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan serta kolaborasi penelitian di bidang informatika, ilmu data, dan keamanan siber.

This research aims to address the primary challenges in Indonesia's tourism industry, notably the lack of accessibility to accurate information and references. Employing a qualitative approach and Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, the study emphasizes the importance of integrating tour guide services with other tourism services. As a solution, the research proposes the "Smart Tourism" system, which amalgamates various tourism services into a comprehensive application, introducing the concept of a one-stop solution holiday. The research findings demonstrate that this application facilitates tourists in booking tour guide services and other amenities while providing customizable options for users. Supported by a collaborative filtering user-based decision support system (DSS), it enhances user experiences and contributes to the economic growth of regions. Consequently, this research significantly impacts the transformation of the tourism travel paradigm, unifying tourism services, enriching tourists' experiences in Indonesia, and aligning with the vision of a more integrated smart city. This contribution extends beyond the tourism sector, fostering the overall economic development of regions.

Modern agriculture is increasingly adopting information and communication technology to enhance efficiency and productivity. In this context, this research presents an innovative device in the form of an automatic feeder for laying hens, utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the ESP8266 microcontroller. This device is designed to automate the feeding process of laying hens, ensuring they receive the right nutrition at the right times. The ESP8266 microcontroller serves as the brain of this device, connecting to Wi-Fi networks and allowing remote access via a mobile application or web-based platform. The device is equipped with sensors to monitor the remaining feed levels and provide information about the environmental conditions within the chicken coop. Furthermore, intelligent algorithms are applied to optimize the feeding schedule based on the collected data. Experimental results demonstrate that this device can enhance feed efficiency, reduce waste, and significantly improve the well-being of laying hens. Additionally, real-time monitoring via a mobile application enables farmers to take prompt action in case of issues within the coop. This research underscores the significant potential of IoT applications in agriculture, particularly in livestock management. The automated feeder not only offers economic benefits but also supports sustainable farming practices through more efficient resource utilization.

Fire is a tragedy that cannot be predicted, besides being unwanted by the community, it is also often out of control. This fire really threatens the lives of the entire academic community if it occurs at school. Many factors cause fires, one of which is caused by natural factors, non-natural factors or human factors. Fires that occur in schools can cause material damage and result in significant financial losses. Considering the many valuable facilities and property such as books, computers, equipment and other valuables. The use and application of fire detection technology isone answer to reducing more fatal fires. Fire detectors can be part of an early warning system in dealing with emergencies. in an emergency.

Serious challenges in waste management in Indonesia have had a significant impact on health and the environment. The excessive accumulation of waste has led to new issues, including a decline in environmental quality and the spread of diseases. This study employs a qualitative approach to address this problem. The Scrum methodology is employed in software development, with an emphasis on blackbox testing and Boundary Value Analysis (BVA). Research findings reveal issues in waste management, including excessive accumulation and bacterial growth in waste disposal sites. A proposed solution is presented through an IoT and Android-based "Smart Trash" system, incorporating weight and height sensors for waste, UV-C Lamp technology, and notification delivery to Android devices. A prototype of this tool is tested to optimize waste monitoring and management. The research findings conclude that this smart waste disposal system facilitates monitoring and notifications for sanitation workers, while aiding in minimizing bacterial growth in waste. With this system in place, sanitation workers can manage waste transportation more efficiently. However, this tool holds potential for further development, such as bacterial detection in waste.

Tanaman air Anubias merupakan jenis tanaman akuatik yang populer dalam hobi akuarium. Untuk memastikan pertumbuhan dan kesehatan yang optimal, suhu air harus dikendalikan dengan baik. Perubahan suhu yang ekstrem atau tidak sesuai dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada tanaman atau bahkan kematian. Pengelolaan suhu air pada akuarium tradisional seringkali memerlukan pengawasan manual dan penyesuaian berkala, yang tidak efisien dan dapat menyebabkan ketidakstabilan suhu yang merugikan tanaman. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sistem otomatis yang dapat terus-menerus memantau dan mengontrol suhu air. Penelitian yang dilakukan di Toko BNR Aquatic di Lembang telah mengidentifikasi aspek penting dalam perawatan tanaman Anubias. Cuaca ekstrem yang tidak dapat diprediksi menjadi tantangan, karena suhu sering berubah dengan cepat. Terdapat kasus di BNR Lembang di mana suhu air turun di bawah 22°C. Rentang suhu air ideal untuk tanaman akuarium adalah 22°C hingga 28°C; deviasi dari rentang ini dapat menyebabkan kerusakan atau layu pada tanaman. Platform App Inventor memungkinkan pengembangan aplikasi mobile sederhana untuk pemantauan dan pengendalian presisi suhu air Anubias. Data suhu yang terkumpul dapat diunggah dan disimpan di platform Thingspeak. Studi kasus lingkungan dingin relevan karena suhu air cenderung lebih rendah, sehingga sulit menjaga rentang yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan tanaman. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuanmengembangkan sistem untuk membantu penggemar dan petani tanaman akuatik, memastikan kondisi optimal bahkan di lingkungan suhu rendah.Penerapan solusi IoT untuk pengendalian suhu air akuarium menawarkan pengelolaan yang lebih akurat dan presisi. Ini memberdayakan budidaya Anubias untuk memantau suhu air secara real-time melalui internet dan mengotomatiskan pengendalian air dengan mengatur pemanas air secara remote. Inventory management is a crucial aspect of modern business operations. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has emerged as a promising solution to improve inventory management processes. RFID enables data transmission through radio waves, eliminating the need for direct physical contact. The use of RFID tags on inventory items facilitates automated and detailed stocktaking processes. This study proposes the implementation of the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology to design and develop an RFID tag-based stocktaking system integrated with an inventory monitoring system. The RAD methodology is recognized for its rapid, iterative, and flexible approach to system development. The research was conducted at Annura, a micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) located in Bandung Regency, serving as a real-world environment to evaluate the effectiveness of RFID technology in inventory management. By adopting the RAD approach, this study aims to provide a responsive and efficient solution that meets the inventory management needs of MSMEs. The implementation of RFID technology is expected to provide more accurate and real-time inventory information, thereby supporting more effective decision-making. Consequently, this research has the potential to make a significant contribution to addressing inventory management challenges faced by MSMEs and businesses in general.

In this study, the authors developed an automatic walking assistance system for visually impaired individuals to support their mobility and daily activities. The system is designed to detect obstacles or objects located in front of, to the left of, and to the right of the user while walking. It utilizes an Arduino Nano as the main microcontroller and ultrasonic sensors to detect surrounding obstacles. When an obstacle is detected, the system automatically provides warning signals to the user. Feedback is delivered through an audible alert generated by a buzzer integrated into the walking cane, enabling visually impaired users to recognize the presence of obstacles and navigate more safely.

This study addresses the increasing risk of digital crimes, particularly image forgery, as a result of advancements in information and communication technology. The research focuses on comparing two methods, RANSAC and Outlier Detection, for analyzing the authenticity of digital images related to Hamako Eco Baby Wear products, which potentially violate Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The case involves the misuse of product logos and attributes. The Integrated Digital Forensic Investigation Framework (IDFIF) is employed as the main framework, supplemented by tools such as the Image Hash Generator and RANSAC Detection. This study also examines metadata from sample and suspect images, providing crucial information about the time and tools used for capturing or editing the images. The findings reveal that the Outlier Detection method is effective in quickly identifying image anomalies, while RANSAC generates a mathematical model that is robust against outliers, enabling deeper analysis. These two methods complement each other in proving image forgery or misuse. This research contributes significantly to the development of digital forensic techniques, particularly in analyzing the authenticity of digital images in the modern era.

The rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) presents new opportunities and challenges in cybersecurity, particularly in smart home systems. This study aims to investigate the security and privacy of IoT devices in smart home environments using the Application Specific Investigation Model (FASIM) framework. The research focuses on the processes of acquisition, analysis, and reporting of digital evidence from IoT devices such as light controllers, security cameras, temperature controllers, and door locks. The methods include identifying IoT devices, analyzing data using tools such as Hercules, WireShark, FFMPEG, and Fing, as well as utilizing MD5 hashing to ensure data integrity. The findings reveal that IoT devices in smart home systems can provide valid digital traces that can be further processed in digital forensic investigations. This study is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing the security and privacy of smart home systems and serve as a foundation for future research on digital forensic investigations of IoT devices.

The A stable and efficient internet network is crucial to support the teaching and learning activities in educational institutions such as SMK Almunawwarah. However, challenges such as limited bandwidth and reliance on a single Internet Service Provider (ISP) often lead to network instability. This study implements load balancing using the Per Connection Classifier (PCC) method and a Failover Recursive Gateway system on a Mikrotik router to address these issues. The PCC method is used to evenly distribute network traffic across multiple ISP connections based on IP addresses, ports, and other parameters. Meanwhile, the failover recursive gateway ensures continuous connectivity by automatically switching traffic to a backup ISP when one ISP experiences downtime. This implementation successfully improves network stability, maximizes bandwidth utilization, and minimizes downtime. The results of the study indicate that with the integration of PCC load balancing and failover recursive, the network performance at SMK Almunawwarah becomes more optimal, thereby better supporting teaching and learning activities.
