Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) to credit risk that measured by non performing loan (NPL). Case study on conventional commercial banks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The number of sample used in this research were 30 banks. The data used were obtained from financial statements and banking annual report published by Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014. The analytical method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis where previously performed classical assumption that includes Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Autocorrelation Test, and Heteroskedastisitas Test. Based on the results of tests performed, bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank efficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have significant effect on non-performing loans (NPL). Bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, and credit growth have positive impact on non-performing loans (NPL). While capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have negative but not significant impact on non-performing loans (NPL). Based on the coefficient determination R2, variable bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have 44.2% effect against non-performing loans (NPL). While the remaining 55.8% is influenced by other variables that are not used in this study.An increase in non-performing loans can lead a bank to experience bankruptcy so disrupting economic activity. With the result that mentioned above means the control of the bank internal factors will affect the level of non-performing loans. The results of this study are expected to help banks manage internal factors mainly as bank size, LDR, bank inefficiency, and credit growth must be monitored continuously when increased so as to prevent any non-performing loans.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the factors that influence online shopping decisions. By looking at previous studies, it was concluded there is the attractiveness of the website design, vendor reputation and perceived ease of transaction as factors affecting purchasing decisions online. To better understand these factors in influencing purchase decisions online, this study used the intervening variable customer's perception of value       This study takes the basic concept of TAM. Then modified according to the variables that have a relationship with online purchasing decisions. The study found that the vendor 's reputation and perceived ease of transactions has a direct influence on purchase decisions online. While the attractiveness of the website design is only indirectly influenced by the perception of customer value . Furthermore , the reputation of the vendor does not have an indirect effect through the customer's perception of value . So that only the perceived ease of transactions that have direct and indirect influence on purchasing decisions online through an intervening variable perceived customer value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR),  Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO), and Company Size (Size) on profitability of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia which proxied by Return On Assets (ROA).The population in this study is the commercial bank that listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) since 2010 until 2015. This research use purposive sampling with the following criteria: a bank has complete published reports in 2010-2015 and hasn’t negative ROA. The samples in this study were 25 commercial banks. This study uses data obtained from Annual Financial Report issued by banks in the Publication Financial Statements Financial Services Authority (FSA). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Before using multiple linear regression analysis, performed classical assumption first.From the results of simultaneous hypothesis test (F test) showed that the CAR, LDR, NPL, BOPO, and Size had a significant effect on ROA with a significance level of 0.000. While based on the partial hypothesis test (t test) showed that the CAR had significant positive effect on ROA, BOPO had significant negative effect on ROA, while the LDR, NPL and Size had no significant effect on ROA. The results showed that variable BOPO had the biggest effect on ROA. The result of the degree of determination (Adjusted R Square) in the regression model is equal to 0.783. This shows that the effect of the independent variables, namely CAR, LDR, NPL, BOPO and Size to the dependent variable (ROA) is 78.3% while the remaining 21.7% is effected by other factors which were not explained in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influences of product quality, service quality and brand image to customer loyality of Apple Iphone products through customer satisfactions as intervening variable on apple Iphone users in Management Program, Diponegoro University Semarang. Product quality, service quality and brand image are the reasons of consumer when selecting and also repurchasing smartphone products which is one of important needs in this digital era.Non probability samping was used for sampling. Data were collected from 100 respondents which were selected using criteria of judgement that should using Apple Iphone as their phone. Questions were given with using questionnaire which consists of open and closed questions. Respondent responses were analyzed  with multiple linear regression using SPSS v.21.0. Can be concluded that product quality, service quality, and brand image giving positive and significant influences to customer satisfaction. After that, customer satisfaction has positive and significant influence to customer loyality of Apple Iphone Users in Management Program, Diponegoro University Semarang.

Abstract

High employee turnover rates have negative impacts for the company, such as the loss of the training costs which have been invested for employees, new employees recruitment expenses, and delay the company's plans due to the search of new employees. It can get worse if the company loses employees who are experienced and have a good performance.Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of job satisfaction, non-physical work environment, and organizational commitment to employee turnover intention. Research was conducted on the production employees of PT Indotirta Jaya Abadi, Ungaran. Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire. The number of samples are 60 respondent. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS.The result showed that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have negative significant affect toward turnover intention, while the non-physical work environment does not significantly affect toward turnover intention. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination in this study is 0,217 which means that the independent variable in this study may explain the dependent variable at 21,7 percent, while 78,3 percent is explained by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analize the effect of customer perceived value, trust, and switching cost to the loyalty of customer waroeng SS Tembalang Semarang. The population used in this study is all the people who eat  and buy waroeng ss product. The sampling method used in this study was accidental sampling method that is done giving quetionnaires to be filled by waroeng ss customer. This study using multiple regression as statistic tools to test the hypothesis. From the analysis performed in this study, customer perceived value and switching cost has positive significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of supervisory and organization culture toward work discipline. The research is investigated the work discipline of employees who work in the was conducted to Ministry of Youth and Sport, Central Java. The independent variables are supervisory and organization culture, and dependent variable is work discipline. The data were collected by using purposive sampling method. Direct questionnare use to obtain the data with 59 respondents from Ministry of Youth and Sport, Central Java employees. The data were analyzed with multiple linear reggresion method using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 16. The research show that supervisory have a positive and significant influence on work discipline. Organization culture have a positive significant influence on work discipline. For the next research it’s recommended to add more variable and than to extend the population.

Abstract

Interest spread was difference between interest rate of time deposit with interest rate of credit obtained by banking. The purpose of this study is to investigate and assess whether affect determine the factors of interest spread at commercial banks Conventional listed on the Stock Exchange the period 2011 – 2015. Interest spread rate as a measure of the efficiency and profitability of the bank.Research sample used about 17 banks there are State Bank, Private National Bank, and Regional Bank. The method used is multiple regression analysis using normalitas test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation, coefficient of determination, significant simultaneous and partial test. This study used purposive sampling method.The results of this study analysis that loans to deposit ratio, operating cost and return on asset significantly influence interest spread rate. Determination coefficient (adjusted R square) was about 0.218. or 21.8 percent. Whereas the remainder about 78.2 percent influenced by other factors out of research model.

Abstract

This research was conducted as a decline in sales at Taman Joglo Cafe for several months, so we have to know what factors that influence the purchase decision . This study aims to determine the effect of price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth on purchase decision on Taman Joglo Café Semarang and which ones have the most impact.The research data was collected from 100 consumers Taman Joglo Café Semarang. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling technique . The analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis . Before multiple regression analysis also do validity and reliability testing and classical assumption testing.And after that also do the hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results of the study found that the following regression equation: Y = 0,745  + 0,363  + 0,217 + 0,116 .Regression analysis showed variable of price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth have a positive influence to the purchase decision. The most influential variable was price perception, followed by service quality, location and word of mouth. The analysis result using t test showed that price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth individually have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. This equation model had F value of 67.784 with a significance level of 0.000. The analysis result using coefficient of determination was discovering about 73,0% variable of purchasing decision can be summarized by the variant of variable price perception, service quality, location, and word of mouth, whilst 27.0% summarized by other variable which unexplained in this research.

Abstract

Mutual funds are used to collect funds from public investor to be invested in portfolio securities by investment manager who has license from OJK. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of fund cash flow, fund size, fund longevity, expense ratio and turnover ratio to performance of fixed income mutual funds. The data used are SBI, JCI, TNA annually, NAB monthly, fund age, and prospectus annually. The samples used in this study were 20 fixed income mutual funds which listed and published by OJK during period 2011-2015. The Analytical method used in this study is pooled panel LSDV (Least Square Dummy Variable) with F-statistic test, t-statistic test, determination of coefficients (R2), classical assumption test such as autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test and multicolinearity test. The results of this study indicate that fund longevity has a positive significant on performance of mutual funds and expense ratio has a negative significant on performance of mutual funds, while fund cash flow, fund size dan turnover ratio have insignificant effect on performance of mutual funds.
