Abstract

This research is motivated their sales decline can be seen from the sales data Suara Merdeka daily newspaper from 2009 to 2013 in the can from the circulation / marketing PT Suara Merdeka Press. As for the issue of research that will be developed is "How to increase the purchasing decisions of consumers against the daily newspaper Suara Merdeka? The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of price perception, product quality and brand image influence on purchase decisions in the Daily Newspaper Society Suara Merdeka in Semarang.The sample used in the study were 100 respondents. In this study sampling technique uses accidental sampling is sampling conducted by questionnaire to be filled to consumers who are buying repeatedly against the daily newspaper Suara Merdeka. Data were analyzed using factor analysis to test the validity of the question items, Cronbach's Alpha to test the reliability of the instrument, multiple regression analysis, to examine the influence of the independent variables were tested by t-test to test and prove the partial effect of each independent variable.Based on the analysis, regression equation: Y = 0.431 + 0.395 X1 + 0.326 X2 X3. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, three independent variables were the most in influencing the purchase decision is the perception of price, followed by the quality of the product and brand image. Hypothesis testing using t test showed that three independent variables studied were perceptions price, product quality and brand image positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Then through the F test can be seen  that  the  three  independent  variables  is  feasible  to  test  the  dependent  variable purchase decision. Figures adjusted R2 is 0.526, meaning 52.6% of the variation of the purchase decision can be explained by the variation of all three independent variables namely Perception price, product quality and brand image, while the rest (100% - 52.6% = 47.4 %) is explained by other causes outside the model

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze some factors which affect of Return On Asset Banks as Market Structure, Bank Size, Inflation and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This study uses secondary data from 25 banks annual report, change of inflation and GDP  ASEAN 5, those are: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philipina and Thailand in years period 2007 to 2014. The sampling method used Purposive Sampling based on a country with banks released a financial report financial. Data analysis used a panel data regression test that was a combination of data cross section and time series with fixed effect model. The results of test found that in partial market structure which is measured using Herfindahl Hirschman Index and GDP have a positive and significant impact. While bank size and inflation do not affect significantly on ROA (Return On Assets)

Abstract

This research was done because of a decline in sales on the Floo Cafe for several months in a row, so keep in mind the factors that influence the purchase decision. This study aims to determine the effect of the perception of price, quality of service, promotion, and location of the purchase decisions on the Floo Cafe and which ones have the most influence on purchasing decisions on the Floo Cafe.The research data was collected from 100 consumers Floo Cafe. Pengambilan sample in this study using a non-probability sampling techniques. The analysis used in this research is multiple regression analysis. Previous test the validity and reliablitas and classical assumption. After multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis and the coefficient of determination. The results of a study reported the following regression equation: Y = 0,190 + 0,587 + 0,273 + 0,166.Regression analysis showed perception variables of price, quality of service, promotion and location has a positive influence on purchase decisions. The variable that has the most impact is the quality of service, followed by promotions and price perception, while having little effect most is the location. The results of the analysis using t test showed that the quality of service, price perception prmosi and individually have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. This equation models have a value of 72.610 with a significance level of 0.000. The results of the analysis by using the coefficient of determination indicated that about 74.3% of the purchase decision can be explained by the perception of price, quality of service, promotion, and location while 25.7% is explained by other variables that are not described in this study.

Abstract

Employees are the most important part of the company. Therefore, the company should be able to treat employees properly. However, with the phenomenon of the high turnover in PT Primayudha Mandirijaya indicate that efforts are being made to ensure that the employees remain in the company is still less than the maximum. This study used three independent variabels are the reward system, employee motivation, and organizational commitment with one dependent variabel is employee retention. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of reward systems, employee motivation, and organizational commitment to employee retention in PT Primayudha Mandirijaya.            Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire by using random sampling method. The sample used in this study were jobholder of PT Primayudha Mandirijaya with the number of 83 respondents. This study uses data analysis includes reliability test, validity test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient determination. F test and t test.            The result of this study indicate that variable reward system, employee motivation, and organizational commitment positively influence on the employee retention of PT Primayudha Mandirijaya. These variabels give a contribution of 52.8% of employee retention. The remaining 47.2% is influenced by variables outside of this study.

Abstract

Along with the growth and development of the online store business in Indonesia which has increased very rapidly. The number of online stores offering the product are increasing. Particularly at “Fisheye Outlet” online store that sells gadget accecories and smartphoneaccecories. Increasing competition between online stores to sell their products , causing Fisheye Outlet online store sales decline.Fisheye Outlet online store should be able to use the best marketing strategies to stay afloat.This study uses five variables: quality products, competitive prices, product variety, store image, and purchasing decisions. This research hypothesis testing using the data of 100 respondents. The analysis technique used in this research is to use a software program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 20.The result of this study indicate that variable product quality positively affect to store image. Then, variable competitive prices, store image, and product variety are positively affect to purchase decision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence between Corporate Governance and Firm Financial Performance. Corporate Governance in this study is represented by Board of Commissioner, Proportion of Independent Commissioner, Audit Committee and Leverage. Firm’s Financial Performance is measured by using ROA. This study also uses firm size as a controlling variable. The sample used in this study is wholesale and retail trade firms listed in Indonesian Capital Market in 2010-2014. The sample were obtained by using the purposive sampling method and resulted 40 sample firms. The data used in this study collected from Indonesian Capital Market Directory and IDX. This research uses multiple regression analysis to analyze the data.The result revealed that the independent variables and control variable simultaneously affecting ROA. Board of Commissioner and Audit Committee are significantly impact ROA in positive way. While Proportion of Independent Commissioner and Leverage are significantly impact ROA in negative way.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of  Size, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Non Performing Loan, and Earning Before Tax and Provision to Loan Loss Provisions on conventional banks listed on Indonesian Banking Directory in 2011-2015. The population is 56 conventional banks in Indonesia.The sampling technique was conducted by using purposive sampling method. The total number of samples in this study is 31 conventional banks. The data was processed using multiple linear regression analysis through classic assumption test before.The results show that NPL and EBTP have positive and significant effect to LLP, while SIZE,   CAR,and   LDR has positive but insignificant effect to LLP. The score of adjusted R Square is 45,3% which means this number could explain the effect  of the variables to LLP.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job stress, role conflict and younger age on turnover intention. Independent variable in this study are job stress and role conflict.Turnover intention as dependent variable and younger age as moderating variable without neglecting older age variable.            Methods of data analysis used in this research is regression analysis and sub-groups analysis.Methods of data collection in this study used a questionnaire with a sample of 80 employees of New Metro Hotel Semarang. The questionnaires were distributed by accidental sampling method or each individual is chosen randomly.            Based on the regression analysis resulted that job stress has positive significant effect on turnover intention,and role conflict has positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Then based on the results of sub-group analysis suggest that the younger age moderate the relationship between job stress and turnover intention.

Abstract

Along with the growth and development of the furniture business in Indonesia which has increased  very  rapidly.  The  number  of company  that  offer  furniture  product  are  increasing. Particularly at “Gading Makmur” company that wood based processed wood products. Increasing competition  between  furniture  company to  sell  their  products  ,  causing  Gading  Makmur Company’s sales decline. Gading Makmur should be able to use the best marketing strategies to stay afloat.This  study  uses  five  variables:  perceive  quality,  country  of  origin,  promotion,  and purchasing decisions. This research hypothesis testing using the data of 34 respondents. The analysis technique used in this research is to use a software program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 23.The result of this study indicate that variable perceive quality, country of origin, and promotion are positively affect to purchase decision.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of variable locus of control, employee engagement and job satisfaction on employee performance. Distributing questionnaires made to employees of PT TASPEN KCU Semarang by respondents as many as 53 employees. The analytical method used are classical assumption test consist of normality test, multicollinierity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing consist of t test and F test with a significance level of 5%. The result of the research simultaneously using F test, showed that the variables locus of control, employee engagement, job satisfaction variables influence significantly toward employee performance. Partially using t test, showed that locis of control and employee engagement had no significant effect on the results of employee performance. Job satisfaction has significant results on the performance of employees. The coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.147 which means variables locus of control, employee engagement and satisfaction performance by 14.7% effect on the performance of employees, while the remaining 85.3% is explained by other variables not included in the research model.
