Abstract

This research is motivated by the decrease in the number of visitors on Berrybenka site and complaints from customers which indicate dissatisfaction toward Berrybenka that can affect the loyalty of Berrybenka’s customers. Based on the problems, this research aimed to examine the effect of product quality, website quality, and service quality to customer satisfaction and its impact on customer loyalty. This research was conducted at e-commerce B2C Berrybenka site.The sample of this research is 100 respondents who had ever done purchase transaction on e-commerce B2C Berrybenka site at least 2 times and stay in Semarang. This research consisted of 5 variables, 19 indicators, and 5 hypothesis. The analysis instrument used was SPSS 22 with multiple linear regression and sobel test as analysis methods to examine the indirect effect of independent variables to dependent variable through intervening variable.The result of this research showed that product quality has positive and significant effect on  customer  satisfaction,  website  quality  has  positive  and  significant  effect  on  customer satisfaction, and service quality has positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction with result Y1= 0,360X1 + 0,263X2 + 0,348X3. Customer satisfaction has positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with result Y2= 0,896Y1. The result of sobel test showed that product quality, website quality, and service quality have indirect effect on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this conceptual research is to present the current literature review related to Causes of Occupational Accidents in Construction Companies. Construction companies are currently the most significant contributor to the number of occupational accidents  in  Indonesia.  In  fact,  there  are  already  specific  safety K3  guidelines  for construction companies that should be the handle of construction companies to reduce the number of work accidents. Various kinds of literature related to the causes of occupational accidents at construction companies are discussed in this study, along with the upcoming research agenda related to change management.

Abstract

Research on the influence of financial ratios has been done. But, there is a gap phenomenon from the data of consumer goods companies where there is fluctuation or instability. The consumer goods companies are fairly stable sector because the product produced in the form of daily necessities products. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence ratios of liquidity, leverage, profitability, activity and market valuation to stock returns of consumer goods companies in 2012 until 2016.Objects in this study are consumer goods companies listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia and has a complete annual reports. The research data sourced from Indonesian Market Capital Directory (ICMD) period 2012 until 2016. The selected company is a company that has conducted an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the research period. The consumer goods companies throughout the research period amounted to 40 companies with to be studied for 30 companies research samples.The  result  showed  that  the  liquidity  ratio  measured  by  current  ratio,  leverage  ratio  is measured by debt to equity ratio, profitability ratio is measured by return on equity have a negative but insignificant effect to stock return. While the activity ratio is measured by total asset turnover and market ratio as measures by price to book value have a positif significant effect to stock return.

Abstract

There has been a lot of research that discusses the value of the company, but still found research gap or differences in results from studies that have been done before. Inequality from the results of previous studies encourages further testing to determine the consistency of findings on firm value. Firm value is a description of the current value of expected earnings in the future and as an indicator for the market to assess a company as a whole. The higher of firm value is the more willing investors in paying a piece of stock. This study aims to examine the effect of net profit margin, return on assets, total asset turnover, earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio to firm value represented by price to book value.The sample used in this study were 57 manufacturing companies listed on BEI during period 2010-2016. The analyticals method used in this research is multiple linear regression with classical assumption test such as autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, multicolinearity test, and determination coefficient test, F statistic test, and t statistic test.The results of this study show that net profit margin, return on assets, and debt to equity ratio have a positive and significant effect on price to book value, while total asset turnover and earnings per share have no effect on price to book value.

Abstract

The problem that happened to Lion Air at this time is the decrease of its market share consistently indicating the decrease of consumer interest using Lion Air service. Based on existing data is known that there is dissatisfaction and decrease customer image brand. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, price perceptions and promotion of customer satisfaction and brand image and its impact on consumer interest in using Lion Air services.The population used in this study is all Lion Air consumers in Semarang. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. Sample criteria taken is a minimum of 172 people Lion Air consumers in Semarang. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. Method of data analysis using structural equation modeling.Based on the results of service quality, price and promotion perceptions have a positive effect on customer satisfaction and brand image and have a positive impact on consumer interest in using Lion Air.

Abstract

This  research  was  conducted  to  test  and  analyze  causal  relationship  between Informational Advertising to Consumer Purchase Decision of Toiletries Product, Soap. The  aim  of  this  research  is  also  to  analyze  the  difference  of  information  given  by advertising to consumer purchase decision of soap product, whether the information of soap  product  that  have  been  given  to  the  participants can  influence  the  relationship between informational advertising with consumer purchase decision of soap product.The  method  used  in  this  research  is true  experimental  design  with  laboratory experiment. The number of participants used was 30 participants, consisting of 15 participants for the experiment group that received the information of the soap product and 15 participants for the control group who did not get the information of the soap product.  The  data  analysis  tests used  in  this research  are  Paired  Sample  T-test  and Independent  Sample  T-test  in  order  to  know  the  difference  and  compare  the  results between the experimental research groups.The result of the analysis with t-test shows that experiment done successfully. T-test shows that there is a difference in purchase decision of the participant just right before and after treatment with product information applied. The statistical result showed that H1 is  accepted.  The  statistical  result  also  showed  that  soap  information  that  participant received through an advertisement is capable in providing information needed by the participant to consider and decide their purchase decision about the soap product.

Abstract

Based on the results of the pre-survey interview with 15 employees of PD BPR BKK Taman Pemalang, there were phenomenon where there were problems of lack of employee motivation in work, lack of supervision by the leader, and the lack of employee participation in following the company's  activities  so  that this research  use  independent  variable  that  is  transformational leadership style, organizational culture and work motivation and dependent variable is employee performance.This research was conducted by the method of distributing questionnaires that have been through the instrument test, then disseminated to 75 respondents in this case is the employee of PD BPR BKK Taman Pemalang lower level. This research uses data alnalisis method such as validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, F test and t test.The result of analysis shows that the variables of transformational leadership style, work motivation   and   organizational   culture   have   positive   and   significant   effect   on   employee performance. The independent variable has an effect of 82.8% on employee performance. While the rest of 17.2% influenced by other factors outside this study.

Abstract

Stock is one of investment instruments that have high risk. It happens because stock is very sensitive to macroeconomics change. There are many macroeconomic variables affecting stock prices including World Oil Price, Exchange Rate and Interest Rate. The previous study of macroeconomic effect on sectorial index has shows inconsistents results. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of macroeconomic factors toward sectorial index at Indonesian Stock Market.Generalized AutoRegressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH) method is used in this study to test proposed hypothesis. The period of January 2006 to December 2016 is used as a research sample by taking the monthly price of each variable, so that 132 samples are obtained. World oil price, exchange rate, and interest rate are used to explain macroeconomics variabels.The result of hypothesis testing by GARCH method shows that world oil pricesignificantly have positive effect to   the index of agriculture sector, and mining sector. Then the rupiah exchange rate variables significantly have negative effect towards the nine existing sector indices. While the fed rate variable show positive effect to the index of infrastructure sector and trade sector.

Abstract

Online Travel Agent (OTA) is a new business that arises due to technological developments.  The  promising  potential  of  OTA  in  Indonesia  makes  many  new  OTA emerged and increased in competition. Based on research conducted by W&S Digital Market  Research  (2014),  Traveloka  is  in  the  "switching  out"  zone  where  6.7%  of Traveloka customers choose to switch to another OTA. This indicates that there is a decrease in repurchase intention in customers of Traveloka. Therefore, it needs to conduct some  research  to  increase  the  repurchase  intention.  Based  on  the  background,  the research was conducted to analyze the influence of information quality, system quality and service  quality  to  repurchase  intention  with  customer’s  satisfaction  as  intervening variable.The sampling method that being used was a non-probability purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to the respondents who are specifically addressed to the people of Semarang City. In this study, it developed a theoretical model by proposing four hypotheses to be tested using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tool operated through the AMOS 22.0 program. The size of the sample in this research was between 100 - 200 samples. This study obtained 126 valid respondents.The result of the research shows that the repurchase intention can be improved by improving information quality, system quality and service quality. Those are the qualities that influence customer's satisfaction as the determinant of success to increase repurchase intention. The most influential factor in determining the repurchase intention, with satisfaction as a variable intervening, is system quality

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of the emergence of various new brands, especially for motorcycle matic category. Currently the market share of motorcycles matic controlled by yamaha mio. This indicates the increasingly tight competition in world sales of motorcycles in seizing the market. This study aims to examine the effect of product differentiation variables, brand image and brand preference on motor Matic Yamaha mio purchasing decision in Semarang city.The number of samples of 100 respondents was taken by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis, where the analysis include: validity test, reliability  test,  classic  assay  test,  linear  regression  test  bergannda,  t  test,  F  test,  test  of determination.The result of multiple regression analysis showed that all independent variables of product differentiation (0,273), brand image (0,330) and brand preference (0,284) have positive and significant relation to dependent variable that is purchasing decision.
