Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to determine how the effects of compensation on employee performance PT. Jawa Pos Media Televisi (JTV) Surabaya. This research is an associative type of research is to determine the relationship between two variables is causal (cause-effect). The approach used is so much required quantitative approach using a number, ranging from data collection, interpretation of data as well as the appearance of the result. The population in this research were all employees of PT. Jawa Pos Media Televisi (JTV) Surabaya consisting of 154 employees. Sampling Slovin formula so obtained 61 employees. Step data analysis techniques using simple regression analysis t test and also test the classical assumption of normality test and test heterocedastisity. The result showed the coefficient of determination indicates that the performance is affected by the variable compensation of 57.8% while the remaining 42.2% is influenced by other variables not included in this research. Which means it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the variable compensation to variable employee performance PT. Jawa Pos Media Televisi (JTV) Surabaya.Keywords: Compensation, Employee Job Performance

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada kegiatan pembelajaran, penggunaan modul adalah salah satu langkah yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada siswa. Sebagai bahan ajar yang dapat dipelajari secara mandiri, modul diharapkan dapat mengkondisikan kegiatan pembelajaran lebih terencana dengan baik, tuntas, dan dengan hasil yang berkualitas. Oleh sebab itu tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan modul, mengukur kelayakan modul setelah dikembangkan, dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap modul pembelajaran Kompetensi Dasar Hubungan Masyarakat setelah dikembangkan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 orang siswa kelas X APK 2 di SMKN 10 Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan yang menggunakan pendekatan 4-D atau 4-P yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengukur penilaian validasi ahli dan respons siswa adalah skala penelitian. Hasil keseluruhan dari validasi ahli memperoleh persentase sebesar 87,33% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan hasil uji coba terbatas sebesar 86,4% dengan kategori sangat layak. Selanjutnya hasil dari validasi ahli dan uji coba terbatas dirata-rata memperoleh persentase sebesar 85,86% dengan kategori sangat layak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran hubungan masyarakat yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak sebagai bahan pembelajaran di SMKN 10 Surabaya. ABSTRACTThe use of module is one of the appropriate ways to improve students’ learning quality. As the self learning source, module is expected to be able to make the learning process be better planned and achieve the qualified result. Therefore, this research aims to describe the process of module development, measure the feasibility of the module, and students’ response for the module in the social relation basic competence. The subject of the research are 20 students of tenth grade of APK at SMKN 10 Surabaya, the method used in this research is developmental model by using 4-D or 4-P design. They are definition, planning, development, and delivery. The data analysis which is used to measure the expert validation and students’ response is research scale. Overall, the expert validation gets 87.33% and the category is very appropriate. It is also very good category for the result of limited try out. It gets 86.4%. Moreover, the result of expert validation and limited try out get 85.86% as the average score. It is in the very appropriate category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning module of society relation which have been developed is very appropriate to be used as the learning materials at SMKN 10 Surabaya.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research was conducted using qualitative approach and using the method of observation, interview and documentation to collect the data. Where the subject matter of the interview conducted is some people related to public relations. And that became the object of this research is a public relations strategy in SMK Wachid Hasyim Surabaya. After the data is retrieved, the data analysis process done through qualitative analysis techniques. After all the process of data collection and data analysis is complete, test the validity of the data was undertaken. Among them are the extension of participation, persistence observations, triangulation, and member check. In order for later data obtained can be accounted for truth and its validity. The results of the study showed that the SMK Wachid Hasyim Surabaya has yet to implement the strategy and using the right medium for school. Which strategies and media used, have not been analysed in advance using a SWOT analysis, and strategy are also not yet adapted to the vision and mission of the school. SMK Wachid Hasyim Surabaya are still using the old strategy that he believes can be effective to attract new prospective students.Key words: Public Relations, Media Strategy, Prospective Students

Abstract

ABSTRACTOne can affect employees performance is the work motivation. Work motivation is influenced by many factors whether internal or external factors. To achieve that purpose so the company must have the effort to aims the purpose that is provide insentives or appreciation in approriate, because employees performance not coming by accidental. This research conducted to know how the effect of work motivation toward employees performance of PT. Tunas Abadi Makmur Surabaya (TAM) Sony Xperia Division Surabaya. This research aims to analyze employees performance at PT. Tunas Abadi Makmur (TAM) Divisi Sony Xperia Surabaya. By using approach motivation variable. This research was carried out on the perspective of employee performance. This research quantitative descriptive of analysis method. Processing data is using SPSS statistical tool with a simple linear regression analysis model. The samples used were 31 respondents from the general population. The results of the study explained that work motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. Work motivation gain 211 poin or 42,5% from the responden who agreed. At the same tine employees performance gain 105 poin or 56,4%. So from this result can be concluded that work motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. These results suggest that the company management should be able to implement policies related to motivation to improved employee performance.Keywords: Performance, Motivation

Abstract

ABSTRACT Job satisfaction does not come by itself. Besides the will and effort of the employees themselves, job satisfaction is also influenced by the conditions of work environment. The work environment in a company is essential to be considered by the management of the company. This is because a conducive working environment may bring several benefits for the company, for instance the emerge of job satisfaction that will directly affect to the productivity. Thus, this thesisis written to find out the influence of work environment conditions toward job satisfaction of the employees, especially at PT Dempo Laser Metalindo Surabaya. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Dempo Laser Metalindo Surabaya. To determine the sample, the researcherwas using saturated sample method, so that in the end a total of 100 people were acquired as the sample of the research. This research included in the associative research using a quantitative approach. Statistical instruments used in this research were a simple regression analysis, correlation, meanwhile the determination and hypothesis testing was done through SPSS 17 for windows. Variables used in this research werethe condition of work environment as the independent variable (X), andjob satisfaction as the dependent variable (Y). The results of this study indicate that the conditions of the work environment affect the job satisfaction of the employees about 46.3%. Meanwhile the other 53.7% is influenced by other factors that are not used in this research.Keywords: Work Environment, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

ABSTRACTSafety and health is an attempt by the company to suppress or reduce the risk of accidents and occupational diseases are addressed for each of the people who are working and or work environment. This labor protection in accordance with Law No. 25, 1997 and Law No. 13 of 2003 which should be implemented in running the production process in the company. For companies that need to pay attention to the management of its human resources, to be able tercapi corporate objectives effectively, efficiently and optimally. By doing businesses as well as provide safety and health protection, each worker can avoid accidents and occupational illness that may occur. From the description, the purpose of this study was to determine: (1) How does the application of occupational safety and health protection of employees in the production of PT. Aneka Coffee Industry, (2) any efforts made by PT. Aneka Coffee Industry in implementing safety and health protection of employees in the production. The data were obtained by interview and documentation. Data obtained kemudiaan organized and sorted according to certain categories, which were then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques to design reduction. The results showed that PT. Aneka Coffee Industry implementing the application on the safety and health of employees in accordance with the legislation in force in Indonesia and also follow the international regulations on safety standards, safety and health of employees in doing the job.Keywords: Protection of Safety; Occupational Health ABSTRAKKeselamatan dan kesehatan kerja merupakan suatu upaya yang dilakukan perusahaan untuk menekan atau mengurangi resiko kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja yang ditujukan untuk masing-masing orang yang bekerja dan atau berada dilingkungan pekerjaan. Perlindungan tenaga kerja ini sesuai dengan Undangundang RI No. 25 Tahun 1997 dan Undang-undang RI No. 13 Tahun 2003 yang harus dilaksanakan dalam menjalankan proses produksi di perusahaan. Untuk itu perusahaan perlu memperhatikan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya, agar mampu tercapi tujuan perusahaan yang efektif, efisien dan maksimal. Dengan melakukan usaha-usaha serta  memberikan perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja ini, setiap pekerja dapat terhindar dari kecelakaan dan sakit akibat kerja yang dapat terjadi. Dari uraian tersebut, maka tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Bagaimana penerapan perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawan pada bagian produksi PT. Aneka Coffee Industry, (2) Usaha apa saja yang dilakukan PT. Aneka Coffee Industry dalam melaksanakan perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawan pada bagian produksi. Data-data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudiaan diorganisasikan dan diurutkan menurut kategori tertentu, yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan desain reduksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa PT. Aneka Coffee Industry melaksanakan penerapan terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawan sesuai dengan perundang-undangan yang berlaku di Indonesia dan juga mengikuti peraturan internasional tentang standar keamanan, keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawan dalam melakukan pekerjaan.Kata kunci: Perlindungan keselamatan; Kesehatan Kerja

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe use of instructional media in schools is an important factor in teaching and learning activities. These factors have a big hand in achieving the desired learning outcomes so that this research aims: (1) To determine the use of instructional media contained in SMK Mojoagung. (2) To know the results of study subjects of productive lessons in class XI APK student at SMK Mojoagung . (3) To determine the relationship the use of instructional media on the results of study subjects productive class XI APK student at SMK Mojoagung. This research includes the study of associative type. The study population which is used in this study was all students in class XI APK Mojoagung SMK that is 142 students while the number of samples used is 100 students. The data obtained in this study through interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Results of research on the Use of Learning Media can be seen the number and magnitude of 66% which means that students agree with the statement in the blank, Judging from the values of r calculated for 0.694 when compared with the value interpretation quite strong correlation (between 0.6 to 0.8). Thus it can be said that the use of Learning Media has a strong relationship with the results of the study subject productive students.Keywords: Instructional Media, Learning Outcomes
