Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of job crafting as a mediation between learning goal orientation towards work engagement. This research is a quantitative study using a questionnaire method. The sample in this study was 51 employees of PT. Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) Surabaya. Data analysis used Structural Equation Model with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results in this study indicate: (1) there is a significant positive effect of learning goal orientation on work engagement, with the t-statistics value of 3,432; (2) there is a significant positive effect of learning goal orientation on job crafting, with the t-statistics value of 8,234; (3) there is a significant positive effect of job crafting on work engagement with the t-statistic value of 4,931; (4) job crafting mediates the effect of learning goal orientation on work engagement, with the t-statistics value of 3,987 then the hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

Competition in the business world today is increasingly fierce in the era of globalization. Information technology can shift the way of practice and change the way of thinking in the business world. The rapid development of technology makes the economy also increasingly developing. One of them is the innovation in the field of online health services. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived ease of use and negative EWOM on purchase intentions with perceived usefulness and perceived risk as mediating variables in Halodoc health service application users in East Java. This study uses 200 samples with non-probability sampling techniques and the method used is a judgmental sampling. The data collection method is done by distributing questionnaires online. The data analysis technique used in this study is the path analysis technique. Based on the results of research conducted, it was found that perceived ease of use has a positive effect on purchase intentions with perceived usefulness as a mediating variable, and negative EWOM has no effect on purchase intentions because perceived risk does not mediate between these relationships in Halodoc health service applications. Based on these results, it is recommended that Halodoc health service application makers pay attention to the ease of use of the application and the benefits that can be felt by consumers and prospective consumers when using the application so that a positive EWOM is formed to reduce the risks that exist in the application and have an impact on purchase intentions towards health services in the application.

Abstract

Company value is a long-term goal of the company which is used as a benchmark of company success. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of liquidity, profitability, and leverage towards company value with dividend policy as a moderating variable. The object of this research is companies in the Miscellaneous industry sector in 2014-2018. This type of research is a quantitative research and used secondary data which consists of an annual report on IDX. The sampling determined by using a purposive sampling method and produced 13 samples of companies. The analysis used a multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) method. The result of this study indicated that only profitability has a positive significant relation to company value. Liquidity is not significant because when a company can repay its debt with assets owned it does not reflect that the company is in good condition because it can occur when cash in the company is not used as well as possible. Then for leverage does not affect because companies use their capital rather than using debt. The dividend policy can moderate the relationship between liquidity and profitability to the value of the company. Dividend policy cannot moderate the relationship of leverage to the value of the company due to a prohibition on dividend payments with a reduction in company capital.

Abstract

A brand will carry out several marketing strategies to attract consumers. especially for countries with a Muslim majority community, the product must have halal legality. There are several factors considered by consumers to choose the product purchased, among others, the existence of halal labels on packaging, emotional advertising, and diskons. The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of product labels, emotional advertising, and discount on purchasing decisions. This research is focused on consumers who have bought Chatime as a bubble drink, Muslim, aged 15-60 years old, and a final consumer. uses a nonprobability sampling technique. Questionnaires were distributed to 200 participants with Google form. Data analysis techniques using Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that product labels, iklan emosional, and diskons had a positive effect on consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study is to explain the analysis of the influence of inflation, exchange rates, BI Rate, money supply, and Shanghai Stock Exchange index toward the Sri Kehati index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2014-2019. Data were analyzed by using multiple linear analysis techniques and use SPSS 18 as statistical analysis software. The sample type used is saturation samples so that there are 72 data taken monthly from 2014-2019. The results of this study indicate that inflation and exchange rate have a significant negative relationship to the Sri Kehati index. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Stock Exchange index has a significant positive relationship with the Sri Kehati index. The rest variable BI rate and money supply have no significant relationship to the Sri Kehati index. All independent variables simultaneously affect the Sri Kehati index. Based on the calculation the Adjusted R square value is 0.279 which means that the movement of the Sri Kehati index is influenced by 28% by the variables in this study and 72% is explained by other variables outside this study. Therefore, further research is expected to add other potential independent variables. The implication from this research is that investors should pay more attention to the exchange rate, inflation, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange index before investing in the Sri Kehati index.

Abstract

Sidoarjo is a district with the most number of small and medium businesses in Indonesia, there reach 171,264 business units. The details, micro-business 154,891 units, small and medium businesses 154 units, and large businesses 16,000 units. One of the industrial centers in the city of Sidoarjo is the Tanggulangin leather craft industry. Most of the people of Kedensari village have the expertise and skills to create a product that can be marketed and has a high selling value. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the entrepreneurial self-efficacy towards the entrepreneurial intentions of the Kedensari village community, Tanggulangin sub-district, Sidoarjo. This research is causality research with a quantitative approach. The sample collection technique uses 100 samples saturated with the number of respondents in a citizen of Kedensari. The research method is using a simple linear regression with the use of the SPSS 23 program for windows. Whereas, hypothesis testing using t-test showed that self-efficacy partially has a significant influence on interest entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance through an organizational commitment to the employees of PT. Bhinneka Life Indonesia Surabaya branch. This type of research is quantitative research. The study used a saturated sample technique with a total of 50 permanent employees at PT. Bhinneka Life Indonesia Surabaya branch. From the results of statistical analysis, this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) and is assisted with smartPLS 3.0 software. This research shows the results of work-life balance has no relationship with employee performance. Work-life balance has a positive effect on commitment. While commitment has a relationship with performance. And the commitment variables can mediate the effect between work-life balance on employee performance. This study shows the results of work-life balance have a smaller direct relationship than an indirect effect on the performance of employee. The implications are based on results of research applied to companies that superiors can provide training to employees on the importance of managing the time between life at work and life outside of work such as life at home. Also, the employees can pay attention to their comfort while working or in receiving bonuses when the targets set by the company have been achieved. Supervisors can also provide other training to the employees to improve the quality of their work.
