Abstract

This research tries to find the relationship between organizational change, organizational culture, transformational leadership, and employee performance at PT Pancaputra Mitratama Mandiri. This research is using a quantitative approach. The population in this study are 32 employees at PT Pancaputra Mitratama Mandiri. Data are running using software SmartPLS, which uses SEM and PLS. The results in this research are (1) Transformational leadership has an insignificant impact on employee performance, (2) transformational leadership has a significant impact on organizational change, (3) transformational leadership has a significant impact on organizational culture, (4) organizational change has an insignificant impact on employee performance, (5) organizational culture has an insignificant impact on employee performance, (6) organizational change has a significant impact on organizational culture, (7) transformational leadership on employee performance has not indirect impact by organizational culture, (8) transformational leadership on employee performance has not indirect impact by organizational change, and (9) organizational change on employee performance has not indirect impact by organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dividend policy, leverage, earning volatility, and trading volume on stock price volatility. This research is causality and uses quantitative data obtained by the purposive sampling method. There are 17 companies as research samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. This study's object is a company listed in the Finance sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014 - 2018. The data used from financial reports, annual reports, and a summary of listed companies' performance. The research analysis method uses a multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS version 25 software. The study results found that dividend payout ratio and dividend yield were a significant positive effect on stock price volatility. While leverage, earning volatility, and trading volume does not affect stock price volatility.

Abstract

The Indonesian cosmetics industry is currently developing”one of them, PT. Martina Berto encourages her company to excel in competition. The first brands produced and marketed was Sariayu Martha Tilaar as a natural cosmetics. In 1983, Sariayu had become a very well-known cosmetics in the country. PT. Martina Berto, developed by Martha Tilaar Group, improves the quality of Sariayu lipstick products and maintains affordable prices so that it can compete with other lipstick products. The purpose of this study is to analyze and discuss the effect of product quality and price on loyalty with satisfaction as an intervening variable on SARIAYU Lipstick customers at Martha Tilaar Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya Outlet. This type of research is quantitative research. This research uses a non-probability sampling technique with 110 respondents taken from SARIAYU Lipstick customers at Martha Tilaar Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya Outlet. The instrument used was a questionnaire that used a Likert scale and analyzed it with path analysis using AMOS 22. The results showed a positive and significant effect of product quality on satisfaction. There is also a significant effect of price on satisfaction. Then there is a positive and significant effect of satisfaction on loyalty. Besides, there is a positive and significant effect of product quality on loyalty. Furthermore, finally, there is a positive and significant price on loyalty.

Abstract

The Indonesian community's ratio is very high compared to the savings rate. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the financial management behaviour of the Sidoarjo community. The factors used in this study are financial knowledge, income, locus of control, financial attitude, financial self-efficacy, and parental financial socialization. This study uses quantitative data with the Sidoarjo community as a population. This study's analysis technique is multiple linear regression analyses with 220 samples of respondents. The result shows that income and locus of control can affect financial management behaviour, and financial knowledge, financial attitude, financial self-efficacy, and parental financial socialization does not affect financial management behaviour. The income can affect financial management behaviour because when someone has good money resources, they can pay all of their bills and make some savings and investment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of viral marketing and brand awareness on consumer purchase intentions in the context of social media use, especially Instagram as a media marketer between companies and consumers, by providing information about the product. The sample used in this study amounted to 200 samples distributed online using Google Form. Data were analyzed using a simple linear regression method. Research results are the viral marketing and brand awareness variables positively affect buying intentions "Kopi Kenangan". Based on these results, it is recommended for œKopi Kenangan to provide exciting content through Instagram social media in the œKopi Kenangan brand promotion strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether internal and external factors can affect Sharia banks' profitability in Indonesia because data is viewed data that the profitability of Sharia banks in Indonesia is increasing. However, Sharia banks' development decreases from the number of Sharia bank offices in Indonesia that remain even declining annually. The population used in this study is 14 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia which the Financial Services Authority registers (OJK) rather than those filtered using specific criteria as stipulated during 2014-2018 in Indonesia and published financial statements for all periods of study and finally gained ten banks, this type of research is a quantitative causal. The results showed that one of the internal factors of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) had a positive influence over Sharia banking profitability (ROA) and other variables such as Non-Performing Finance (NPF), Financing of Debt Ratio (FDR), inflation, and BI Rate had no effect on Return On Asset (ROA).

Abstract

Retirement planning is an important thing that should be a concern and implemented by every working people to achieve their happiness in retirement years, especially in countries like Indonesia, which experience a significant increase in the number of elderly each year. Focus on civil servants who are guaranteed pension funds from the government, each year, the number of workers who enter retirement age. This research aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, future orientation, age, and gender on retirement planning. The research sample is 110 respondents who are civil servants in Surabaya”collecting data by online questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression by SPSS. This research results in financial literacy and future orientation positively affecting retirement planning. In contrast, the variables age and gender did not affect retirement planning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of education factors and transformational leadership on employee's performance through work motivation in PT. PLN (Persero) UIT JBTB UPT Surabaya. This research is a type of quantitative research with 49 permanent employee populations of PT. PLN (Persero) UIT JBTB UPT Surabaya, all over populations, is sampled in this research. This research using Partial Least Square (PLS) as a statistic analysis with software SmartPLS 3. This research indicates that education factors have a significant positive effect on work motivation. Education factors have a significant positive effect on employee's performance. Transformational leadership has no significant effect on work motivation but a significant positive effect on employee's performance. Education factors have a significant positive effect on employee's performance through work motivation, and transformational leadership has no significant effect on employee's performance through work motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate and analyze job characteristics towards job satisfaction through organizational commitment in the Surabaya region's bank employees. This research is quantitative. A sample of 72 respondents with a saturated sample technique through an online questionnaire. Statistical analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS software version 3.0. This study concluded that job characteristics were not significant to job satisfaction. Positive and significant work characteristics of organizational commitment. Positive and significant organizational commitment to job satisfaction. Organizational commitment manages to mediate the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of corporate social responsibility, dividend policy, company age, independent board of commissioners, and managerial ownership with profitability as a mediating variable. The population used is mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2018. By using purposive sampling, the sample is ten companies. This study using path analysis and processed with IBM SPSS 25. This study's results are only corporate social responsibility, dividend policy, and profitability that affect firm value.Meanwhile, variable company age, independent board of commissioners, and managerial ownership do not affect firm value. Investors are not interested in old companies because they cannot adapt to existing developments. Investors are also not interested in investing in companies that have agency problems. The variables that influence profitability are corporate social responsibility and independent board of commissioners. Meanwhile, dividend policy, company age, and managerial ownership cannot affect profitability. There are characteristics of some investors who do not like the distribution of dividends. Investors prefer newly established companies because they are more innovative in their business. Agency problems are also a factor that hinders investors from investing in companies. This study shows that profitability cannot be a mediating variable in this study because high profitability cannot determine high firm value.
