Abstract

Tindak Immediacy Guru dalam Pembelajaran di Sekolah DasarAbstract: The focus of this research is; (1) how the manifestation of acts of immediacy in the elementary school teachers in the context of improving the emotional involvement of students in various learning situations; (2) how the motif acts teacher immediacy in learning in elementary school. This study used a qualitative approach to the study follows the tradition of phenomenology. The collection of data through observation and in-depth interviews. Sources of research data are five teachers and twelve students. Qualitative data analysis refers to the four stages of data analysis in interpretative phenomenological analysis. This study found that teacher immediacy in the elementary acts manifested in five acts, namely (1) to give the award, (2) a touch, (3) help students, (4) friendly posture and (5) physical proximity. Making of teachers to follow immediacy motives goal is to create a positive emotional climate in learning. Positive emotional climate is characterized by the understanding between teachers and students, the feeling of comfortable to the students and the emotional ties between students and teachers. Teacher beliefs about the profession and the professional experience of teachers is a cause that encourages teachers motive to commit immediacy. Key Words: teacher immediacy, learning, elementary school Abstrak: Fokus penelitian ini adalah: (1) bagaimana manifestasi tindak immediacy guru di sekolah dasar dalam konteks meningkatkan keterlibatan emosional siswa dalam berbagai situasi pembelajaran; (2) bagaimana motif tindak immediacy guru dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengikuti tradisi penelitian phenomenology. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Sumber data penelitian adalah lima orang guru dan dua belas siswa. Analisis data kualitatif merujuk pada empat tahap analisis data pada interpretative phenomenological analysis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa tindak immediacy guru di SD dimanifes-tasikan dalam lima tindakan, yaitu (1) memberi penghargaan, (2) memberi sentuhan, (3) membantu siswa, (4) sikap tubuh ramah dan (5) kedekatan fisik. Pemaknaan guru terhadap motif tujuan tindak immediacy adalah menciptakan iklim emosional positif dalam pembelajaran. Iklim emosional positif ditandai adanya kesepahaman antara guru dan siswa, adanya perasaan nyaman pada siswa dan adanya ikatan emosi antara siswa dan guru. Keyakinan guru tentang profesinya dan pengalaman profesio-nal guru merupakan motif penyebab yang mendorong guru melakukan tindak immediacy.Kata kunci: immediacy guru, pembelajaran, sekolah dasar

Abstract

Pengaruh Penggunaan Peta Pikiran dan Gaya Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar Geografi Siswa SMPAbstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of mind maps, learning styles and inter-action using a mind map learning style on geography learning outcomes. This study was a quasi-experimental study, with a 2 x 3 factorial design study subject consisted of two classes of class VII G as experimental class and class VII F as a control class. Variables consisted of: (1) the dependent variable is the student learning outcomes; (2) the independent variable is the use of mind maps; and (3) is the moderator variable learning styles. Geography learning outcomes were measured using an objective test, whereas learning styles with questionnaires. Measurement data are then analyzed using ANOVA two paths with SPSS v.7. Results of data analysis using ANOVA two path showed that: (1) the use of mind maps significantly effect on learning outcomes geography; (2) learning style does not significantly affect the results of learning geography; and (3) there is no interaction between the use of mind maps and learning style on learning outcomes. Key Words: mind maps, learning styles, learning outcomes Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan peta pikiran, gaya belajar dan interaksi penggunaan peta pikiran dengan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar geografi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu, dengan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VII G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari: (1) variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar siswa; (2) variabel bebas adalah pengguna-an peta pikiran; dan (3) variabel moderator adalah gaya belajar. Hasil belajar geografi diukur menggunakan tes objektif, sedangkan gaya belajar dengan angket. Data hasil pengukuran dianalisis menggunakan anova dua jalur dengan bantuan SPSS v.7. Hasil analisis data menggunakan anova dua jalur menunjukkan: (1) penggunaan peta pikiran berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar geografi; (2) gaya belajar tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar geografi; dan (3) tidak ada interaksi antara penggunaan peta pikiran dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Abstract

Perbedaan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar IPS dengan Penerapan Pembelajaran STAD Bermedia Video dan STAD NonvideoAbstract: This study aimed to find: (1) differences in students’ motivation, among the group of stu-dents who are taught using STAD mediated video and non video in eighth grade social studies at SMP Negeri 3 Kare, (2) differences in student learning outcomes, between group of students who are taught using STAD mediated video and nonvideo in eighth grade social studies at SMP Negeri 3 Kare, and (3) the relationship between students ‘motivation with students’ learning outcomes. The use of quasi experiment research. Techniques of data analysis performed by t test. The results showed that: (1) there are significant differences between the motivation to learn the class A (STAD mediated video) with motivation to learn the class B (STAD nonvideo), (2) there are significant dif-ferences between the learning outcomes of class A (STAD mediated video) with the learning outcomes of the class B (STAD nonvideo), and (3) there is no significant relationship between students moti-vation with students learning outcomes.Key Words: learning motivation, learning outcomes, STAD mediated video Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa antara ke-lompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran STAD bermedia video dan STAD non video, (2) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa, antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran STAD bermedia video dan STAD nonvideo, dan (3) hubungan antara motivasi belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar kelas A (STAD bermedia video) dengan motivasi belajar kelas B (STAD non-video), (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kelas A (STAD bermedia video) dengan hasil belajar kelas B (STAD nonvideo), (3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: Motivasi belajar, hasil belajar, STAD bermedia video

Abstract

Transformative Learning Pengasuhan Anak Usia Dini di Lingkungan KeluargaAbstract: The purpose of this research are: (1) a general description of transformative learning in early childhood parenting, (2) the problems faced by parents in early childhood parenting, (3) actions in addressing the problem of parental nurturing early childhood through transformative learning, (4) the impact of transformative learning in early childhood parenting. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Research sites were in the Village District of Wates Duwet Kediri. The informants are parents who have children aged 0-6 years. The process of data collection using in-depth interviews, focus groups, participant observation, and documentation. Analysis using the interactive analysis according to Miles & Huberman models. The results of the study are: (1) parental many transformative learning experience in caring for his children; (2) the problems faced by parents in early childhood parenting a child manages a unique character, habituation child, independence training, discipline, and responsibility for the child, the child’s social interaction, self-confident child training, sex education early childhood; (3) the actions of parents in resolving parenting issues early age in the form of awards, advice, warnings, penalties, acquiescence to the child; (4) a transformative impact on parents internally and externally.Key Words: transformative learning, parenting, early childhood, family Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan: (1) gambaran umum transformative learning pada pengasuhan anak usia dini, (2) masalah-masalah yang dihadapi orangtua dalam mengasuh anak usia dini, (3) tindakan-tindakan yang dilakukan orangtua dalam mengatasi masalah pengasuhan anak usia dini melalui transformative learning, (4) dampak transformative learning dalam pengasuhan anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Duwet Kecamatan Wates Kabupaten Kediri. Informan penelitian adalah orangtua yang mempunyai anak usia 0-6 tahun. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, FGD, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan interactive analysis models menurut Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) orangtua banyak mengalami pembela-jaran transformatif dalam mengasuh anak-anaknya; (2) masalah-masalah yang dihadapi orangtua dalam mengasuh anak usia dini berupa mengelola karakter yang unik anak, pembiasaan anak, melatih kemandirian, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab anak, interaksi sosial anak, melatih percaya diri anak, pendidikan seks anak usia dini; (3) tindakan orangtua dalam menyelesaikan masalah pengasuhan anak usia dini berupa pemberian penghargaan, nasihat, peringatan, hukuman, pembiaran kepada anak; (4) dampak transformatif pada orangtua secara internal dan eksternal.Kata kunci: transformative learning, pengasuhan, anak usia dini, keluarga

Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed at providing the answers to the two research questions proposed. First, it is to examine the strategies used by Lulu Wijaya in translating Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights. Second, it is to explore how inappropriate Lulu Wijaya’s translation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights is. The research data were obtained from both the English and the Indonesian versions of the novel under discussion. The data were then analyzed dealing with the translation strategies and the researcher’s suggested translation version for the inappropriate translation. The suggested translation version was later validated by two validators to make sure that the research results would not be biased. The research shows that there are 10 translation strategies used in the translation, namely synonymy, literal translation, paraphrase, deletion, hyponymy, free translation, emphasis change, modulation, borrowing, and abstraction change. It also proves that the translator’s translation is inappropriate with both validators agree about 90% with the researcher’s suggested translation. Key Words: translation strategies, inappropriateness Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji strategi yang digunakan oleh Lulu Wijaya dalam me-nerjemahkan Novel Emily Brontë Wuthering Heights dan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana ketidaksesuaian terjemahan Lulu Wijaya terhadap Novel Emily Brontë Wuthering Heights. Data penelitian diperoleh dari novel yang sedang dibahas dalam bahasa Inggris dan versi Indonesia. Data dianalisis terkait dengan strategi penerjemahan dan menyarankan terjemahan versi peneliti untuk terjemahan yang tidak sesuai. Terjemahan versi peneliti kemudian divalidasi oleh dua validator untuk memastikan bahwa hasil penelitian tidak akan bias. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada 10 strategi penerjemahan yang digunakan, yaitu sinonim, terjemahan harfiah, parafrase, penghapusan, hiponimi, terjemahan bebas, perubahan penekanan, modulasi, pinjaman, dan perubahan abstraksi. Hal ini membuktikan terjemahan Lulu Wijaya tidak tepat, kedua validator setuju sekitar 90% dengan terjemahan yang disarankan peneliti.Kata kunci: strategi penerjemahan, ketidaksesuaian

Abstract

Manajemen Lesson Study sebagai Teknik Supervisi Kolegial di SMPAbstract: The research has the purpose to describe and explain the implementation of collegial supervision based Lesson Study (LS) and LS management as collegial supervision techniques at SMPN 1 Pandaan, SMPN 2 Grati and SMPN 1 Gondangwetan. This research used a qualitative ap-proach and a multi-site study design. The results show that (1) collegial supervision is performed on stage LS plan (plan learning), do (implement and observe learning) and see (learning reflecting discussion); and (2) Management LSBS done well so collegial supervision techniques can be implemented.Key Words: lesson study, collegial supervision, SMP Abstrak: Penelitian memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan pelaksanaan  supervisi kolegial berbasis Lesson Study (LS) dan manajemen LS sebagai teknik supervisi kolegial di SMPN 1 Pandaan, SMPN 2 Grati, dan SMPN 1 Gondangwetan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan rancangan studi multi situs. Abstract

Abstract: Every year, most of the fifth-semester students in the Accounting Department, State Poly-technic of Malang always had a problem in writing English abstracts. This study was intended to im-prove students’ skill in writing English abstracts through the Directed Writing Activity (DWA). This research is a collaborative classroom action research. The data were collected through students’ portfolios, questionnaires on the students’ responses, and the observation sheet on the teacher’s performance. The assessment was done by evaluating the students’ portfolios, the students’ res-ponses on the DWA implementation in their classroom, and the observation on the teacher’s perfor-mance. After evaluating all the data, it can be concluded that the DWA was successfully done in class 3A, semester 5, the Accounting Department, State Polytechnic of Malang.Key Words: skill in writing, english abstract, directed writing activity Abstrak: Sebagian besar mahasiswa semester 5 Jurusan Akuntasi, Politeknik Negeri Malang bermasa-lah dengan penulisan abstrak Inggris setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa menulis abstrak Inggris melalui Directed Writing Activity (DWA). Penelitian ini merupakan collaborative classroom action research. Data dikumpulkan dari portofolio siswa, kuesioner tanggapan siswa, dan lembar observasi kinerja dosen. Penilaian dilakukan dengan mengeva-luasi portofolio siswa, tanggapan siswa tentang pelaksanaan DWA di kelas, dan pengamatan kinerja guru. Pengaruh Status Sosial Ekonomi Orang Tua, Pendidikan Pengelolaan Keuangan Keluarga, dan Pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi terhadap Literasi Finansial MahasiswaAbstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of direct and indirect socio-economic status of parents, family financial management education and learning in higher education on financial literacy. Data were collected by through the test and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques with path analysis and regression analysis to test the absolute difference. Results of the study are there is a direct or indirect effect of socio-economic status of parents, family financial management education and learning in higher education towards financial literacy.Key Words: socio-economic status of parents, family financial management education, learning in college, financial literacy Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh langsung maupun tak langsung status sosial ekonomi orang tua, pendidikan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga, dan pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi terhadap literasi finansial. Data dikumpulkan dengan melalui tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis jalur dan analisis regresi dengan uji selisih mutlak. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh langsung maupun tak langsung status sosial ekonomi orang tua, pendidikan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga, dan pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi terhadap literasi finansial. Abstract

Pengembangan Buku Teks Membaca Intensif Berbasis Karakter di Sekolah DasarAbstract: The purpose of this study was (1) to develop instructional materials intensive reading of literary and non-literary class VI character-based, including materials and presentation techniques book. The products of this research is the development of intensive reading literary books and non-literary. Development of reading books of literary and non-literary intensive use development model of the development of teaching materials and the adaptation of Pannen Purwanto by step development of teaching materials from Tomlinson. Stages of development model is a preliminary analysis, the analysis of the curriculum, reading text collection, the selection of reading texts, writing and materials development, product testing, revision, and then the final product. Test subjects in the study were expert subjects and the learning of Indonesian language, character education experts, instructional media specialists, teachers and sixth grade students of SDN Pakis. The results of field tests of validity and intensive reading literary books and non-literary shows the criteria are very valid and ready to be used for the actual learning activities.Key Words: textbooks development, sixth grade intensive reading, character Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar membaca intensif sastra dan non sastra kelas VI berbasis karakter, meliputi materi dan teknik penyajian buku. Produk penelitian pengem-bangan ini adalah buku membaca intensif sastra dan non sastra. Pengembangan buku membaca intensif sastra dan non sastra menggunakan model pengembangan bahan ajar hasil adaptasi dari Pannen dan Purwanto dengan langkah pengembangan bahan ajar dari Tomlinson. Tahapan model pengembangan adalah analisis pendahuluan, analisis kurikulum, pengumpulan teks bacaan, pemilihan teks bacaan, penulisan dan penyusunan bahan ajar, uji coba produk, revisi, kemudian produk akhir. Subjek uji dalam penelitian adalah ahli mata pelajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, ahli pendidikan karakter, ahli media pembelajaran, guru dan siswa kelas VI SDN Pakis. Hasil uji validitas dan uji lapangan buku membaca intensif sastra dan non sastra menunjukkan kriteria sangat valid dan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran sebenarnya.Kata kunci: pengembangan buku teks, membaca intensif untuk kelas enam, karakter

Pengembangan Paket Pembelajaran Dasar-dasar PeternakanAbstract: The purpose this research is to generate a package of learning development basics animal husbandry in accordance with the characteristics of the students and the subject and test the fea-sibility of the resulting learning package. The development of learning packages using the model of Dick, Carey & Carey (2001). The results of product assessment the package of learning the basics of animal husbandry is included in the qualification is very feasible and valid, so it can be used as teaching materials in the SPP-SPMA West Kalimantan. This development of products produced by some distinguishing characteristic of other products, including the development of learning packages using the model of Dick, Carey & Carey, typographical arrangement is designed attractively, the material with photos, arranged in an organized, presented more dynamic because many activities involving students, and can facilitate students to learn independently, so the expected results of this research can overcome the problems that exist in the SPP-SPMA West Kalimantan.Key Words: learning package, development, models of Dick, Carey & Carey Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan paket pembelajaran dasar-dasar peternakan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa dan mata pelajaran tersebut dan menguji tingkat kelayakan paket pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Pengembangan paket pembelajaran  mengguna-kan model Dick, Carey & Carey (2001). Hasil penilaian produk paket pembelajaran dasar-dasar peter-nakan ini termasuk dalam kualifikasi sangat layak dan valid, sehingga dapat dipakai sebagai bahan ajar di lingkungan SPP-SPMA Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Produk pengembangan yang dihasilkan mempunyai ciri khas yang membedakan dengan produk lain, diantaranya menggunakan model pe-ngembangan paket pembelajaran Dick, Carey & Carey, perwajahan dirancang secara menarik, materi dilengkapi foto, disusun secara terorganisasi, disajikan lebih dinamis karena banyak melibatkan aktivitas siswa, dan dapat memfasilitasi siswa untuk dapat belajar secara mandiri, sehingga diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat mengatasi masalah yang ada di SPP-SPMA Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.
