Abstract

Sekolah merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan formal yang bertujuan mendewasakan anak didik, sehingga mereka dapat mencapai tugas perkembangan yang optimal. Tugas perkembangan yang ingin dicapai salah satunya adalah mencapai kematangan emosi. Namun pada kenyataannya tidak semua siswa mencapai kematangan emosinya dengan baik, khususnya anak bungsu. Berdasarkan fenomena yang ada di MTsN Gurun Panjang dapat diketahui bahwa beberapa anak bungsu belum melihatkan kematangan emosinya. Melalui bimbingan kelompok diharapkan kematangan emosi anak bungsu dapat ditingkatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan kematangan emosi anak bungsu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimental dengan teknik one group pre-test post-test design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak bungsu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket berskala. Data dianalisis dengan teknik Wilcoxon signed rank test dengan menggunakan bantuan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 20. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kematangan emosi anak bungsu sebelum diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok berada pada kategori cukup dan setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat kematangan emosi anak bungsu sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan kematangan emosi setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya peningkatan kematangan emosi lebih lanjut melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling terutama bimbingan kelompok.

Abstract

To learn so far a bout token economy in the completion students task at V grade in SD N 16 Sungayang. This research includes qualitative research with this type of case studies. The invent of this research show that applying token economy has a great influence to ward students behave in the completion mathematic task in the class. The implication application of token economy can support the implementation of service delivery mastery of content in completing learning tasks and giving other Guidance. A counselor can collaborate with some of the teachers to improve students behavior and students quality. It is hoped to the next beseecher to apply token economy in the different field to get more view.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Reteh has two departments: IPA and IPS. Majors placement is an effort so that all students can develop their knowledge and skill,  accordance with their potential and interests. Students who take unsuitable courses with their potential and interests, will have a lot of problems in learning. Interest in their department can be influenced by parent, peer, and counselor. The purpose of this research is to describe and  determine the contribution a parent support, peer, and counselor to the occupied student’s interest. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. The population in this study were students of class X and XI, the technique used purposive sampling. The instrument used a questionnaire with Likert scale. The results of the parent-support reliability test is 0.922, peer  is 0.908, counselor is 0.906, and the interest of students in the occupied department is 0.944. The data were analyzed using multiple regression. The findings of this study indicate that the results description support of parent, peer, and counselor individually or together to the student's interest in the occupied department in high category and results hypothesis the support of parent, peer, and counselor individually or together contribute to the student's interest in the occupied department.

Abstract

The successful implementation of guidance and counseling in schools is not only the duty of counselor alone, but further a common task among school personnel (both the principal, teachers, class guardian, administration officials  and other students) and the school environment (parents , communities, and others). This paper presents ideas with regard to the importance of establishing collaborative with other persons to help optimal students development.

Abstract

Munculnya penilaian dikalangan remaja putri standar tubuh saat ini yang mementingkan penampilan fisik dengan bentuk tubuh yang proposional, telah membuat remaja putri saat ini menjadi kurang percaya diri, remaja putri selalu menilai dirinya melalui kaca mata oranglain yaitu teman-teman sepergaulannya. Berawal dari penampilan fisik, remaja mulai memberikan gambaran dan persepsi tentang bentuk fisik yang dimiliki, kemudian beranjak pada penampilan fisik yang dimiliki orang lain hingga standar tubuh yang harus dimiliki setiap perempuan. Gambaran dan persepsi tentang penampilan fisik inilah yang disebut body image.

Abstract

The low prosocial behavior of students can inhibit the developmental tasks of adolescent such as the inability of appreciating others and getting others’ respect. Group guidance can be used to improve students’ prosocial behavior. The aim of this study was to reveal the effectiveness of group guidance service with modeling techniques in improving students’ prosocial behavior. This quasi-experimental research with pretest and posttest control group design aims to find out whether group guidance services with modeling techniques can improve students' prosocial behavior or not. Two groups were selected by using purposive sampling. They were selected from Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu (SMPIT) Rabbi Radhiyya Curup Tengah and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pesantren Muhammadiyah Curup Timur. Each group consisted of 10 students. There were five meetings of group guidance service for each experimental and control group. The data of prosocial behavior were collected by using pretest and posttest, then they were analyzed by using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Sample with SPSS version 16.00. The findings of this study were: (1) there was a significant difference between students’ pretest and posttest of prosocial behavior in the experimental group, (2) there was a significant difference between students’ pretest and posttest of prosocial behavior in the control group, (3) there was a significant difference between posttests of students’ prosocial behavior in the experimental and the control group. Based on those findings, it is concluded that the students’ prosocial behavior can be improved through group guidance with modeling techniques. Therefore, it is suggested for counseling teachers to do group guidance by using modeling techniques, especially in enhancing prosocial behavior and other social behaviors.

Abstract

Bullying a concrete impact on the victim both physically and psychologically. The main characteristics of bullying victims is students who have not been able to be assertive. To improve the student assertive behavior bullying victim, the counselor can use assertiveness training. The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of assertiveness training to improve the student assertive behavior bullying victim. This research uses a pure experimental design pretest-posttest control group design. The research population was a 8 student of class VII & VIII SMPN1 Jombang - Jember who are bullying victims. The data analysis used Two independent sample test man withney U. These results indicate that statistic score of Z (-2.323) and sig.(2-tailed) is 0.020 <0.05, So assertiveness training effective to improve assertive behavior student bullying victims. Suggestions of the researchers as follows: 1) for the instution of the school should give counselor should gives assertiveness training to improve the student assertive behavior bullying victims. 2) for the counselor be creative for improve assertive training module. And 3) for other researcher should use time series design and broad population so that get good generality broader.
