Abstract

Islamic Guidance is social rehabilitation program for Drug Addiction (resident). The goal of this research to know the Islamic guidance for resident at the Center for Rehabilitation of the National Narcotics Agency Lido Bogor. The methodology in this research is qualitative descriptive, with a sample two religious counselor. Can be concluded that Islamic guidance is implemented with the classical format, group format, and individual formats. The goal of the Islamic Guidance to develop religious mentally.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of student’s participation in learning PKn subject. This research is aimed to improve the participation in learning of students grade VI SDN 17 Batang Anai by implementing guided teaching model. This is a class action research that consists of two cycles including four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data of research were obtained through observation sheets, and test. Obtained data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Percentage of student’s participation in proposing ideas is 30% in cycle I and become 77.5% in cycle II. Meanwhile, percentage of student’s participation in answering questions is 40% in cycle I and become 85% in cycle II. Percentage of student’s participation in proposing questions is 17.5% in cycle I and become 70% in cycle II.  Hence, it can be concluded that guided teaching model can improve participation in learning PKn subject of students grade VI SDN 17 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti di SDN 17 Nan Sabaris dan hasil wawancara terhadap siswa dan guru kelas III SDN 17 Nan Sabaris, siswa kurang memahami soal cerita, serta pembelajaran dilaksanakan oleh guru masih secara konvensional. Hal ini mengakibatkan nilai siswa rendah, yakni pencapaian nilai rata-rata siswa secara klasikal adalah 5,4. Untuk itu penulis melalui penelitian ini mencoba meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita melalui pendekatan CTL. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, bentuk pelaksanaan dan hasil pembelajaran soal cerita melalui pendekatan CTL. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL mempunyai 7 langkah, yaitu konstuktivisme, menemukan, bertanya, masyarakat belajar, pemodelan, refleksi, dan penilaian yang sebenarnya. Langkah pendekatan CTL tersebut dikombinasikan dengan langkah-langkah menyelesaikan soal cerita. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (class action research), penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sedangkan siswa yang diambil sebagai subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN 17 Nan Sabaris. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan.Hasil penelitian dari setiap siklus yang dilaksanakan dalam peneitian ini terlihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari tes awal dengan rata-rata 5,6 dan pada tes akhir tindakan siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 6.8, sedangkan pada tes akhir tindakan siklus II rata-rata nilai siswa yakni 8,46. Hasil pengamatanpun terlihat peningkatan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penulis mengambil simpulan pada penelitian ini bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Mathematics learning for grade II of elementary students used to separate between learning and real life. This research is aimed to improve learning output of students by implementing realistic mathematics approach in mathematics learning. This is a class action research that consists of two cycles including four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subject of this research are 25 elementary students grade II SDN 11 Sungai Sirah Kecamatan Pariaman Timur Kota Pariaman. Data of research were obtained through observation, interview, and test. Obtained data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Learning output of students is improved in each cycle. In cycle I, average score of students’ learning output is 77.2. Meanwhile in cycle II, average score of students’ learning output is 88.2. Hence, it can be concluded that mathematics learning implementing realistic mathematics approach can improve the learning output of elementary students grade II.

Abstract

Aggressive behavior is an act of violence that harm, hurt, injure because it will harm the victim that was done on purpose in the form of active or passive, physically or verbally either in person or not. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of aggressive behavior class XI SMA Laboratorium UM Malang. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) the level of aggressive behavior in class XI SMA Laboratorium UM Malang high, (2) the level of aggressive behavior of male students are higher than female students, (3) the form of aggressive behavior of male students more patterns of behavior physically aggressive, active and direct, (4) the form of aggressive behavior more female students in the form of verbal aggressive behavior, passive and indirect.

Abstract

Learning to write and read at the elementary level is the main staple for Indonesian lessons, if the student does not have the ability to read and write at the beginning of this level, it will be very difficult for any lesson. Result of preliminary observations in primary school 05 Nan Sabaris shows that there are several obstacles facing teachers in the learning process. One problem is difficult to instill the concept of reading and writing to students.The purpose of this action research are (1) to determine the extent of the use of learning resources in the form of cards letters and syllables and words can affect the ability of students in assembling and read it word for word (2) to improve the ability of students to practice reading by using cards are dealt teacher said. Data were obtained through tests and the use of the observation, the data is processed by a percentage. The results of the analysis of data obtained in the first cycle of learning success; 61.00 %, and the second cycle; amounted to 81.50%. So show no increase in student learning from the first cycle to cycle II. Thus the use of the letter cards can increase pemahamn stringing words and read to students. This is evident from the excited students verbatim via encrypted card.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kenyataan dilapangan bahwa hasil belajar dan keterampilan membaca siswa di kelas IV SD N 27 Batang Anai masih kurang, disebabkan karena kurangnya minat  siswa untuk membaca. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemempuan dalam membaca intensif dengan menggunakan model Word Square di SD Negeri 27 Batang Anai. Teori yang dijadikan dalam mengamati data adalah teori membaca yang dikemukakan oleh Brooks, (1) membaca telaah isi, (2) membaca telaah bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca intensif siswa yang dibuktikan dengan menigkatnya hasil dan kemampuan membaca intensif siswa berdasarkan siklus I 67,04 sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 77,27. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model Word Square dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca intensif.

Abstract

Students are rarely highly motivated in Bahasa learning, including answer questions, give response to questions, and do discussion that can improve student’s writing skill. This research is aimed to determine whether the use of playing-answer method can improve student’s writing skill in Bahasa learning. This is a class action research in which 20 elementary students of grade III as subject. Data were obtained through observation, interview, and test of writing skill. There is improvement in each cycle. In cycle I, average score of student’s writing skill is 68 or 55%. Meanwhile in cycle II, average score of student’s writing skill is 77,5 or 80%. This result shows that playing-answer method can improve student’s writing skill in Bahasa learning.

Abstract

Individual counseling services in schools need to gain the attention of policymakers, among others, by the evaluation. The purpose of this research to produce products such as performance of counselors in individual counseling services instrument in schools both self evaluation and peer evaluation. This study uses a Research and Development Model. The steps of this study include: (1) Research and information collecting,(2) Planning, (3) Develop preliminary form of Product, (4) Preliminary field testing, (5) Main product revision, (6) Main field testing,(7) Operational product revision, (8) Operational field testing, and (9) Final product revision. The subjects of this research were junior high school counselors in Sukoharjo, junior high school counselor in Bantul and Expert of Guidance and Counseling. Early stages of product development gained 40 grains item instrument, later revised to 60 grains item. Further trials conducted end gained 57 grains of items for self evaluation and 57 grains of items for peer evaluation. The results of tests on a wider field gained 51 grains of items for self evaluation and 50 grains of items for peer evaluation.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of student’s participacion in learning religion subject, including do discussion, propose the ideas, or conclude the material. It is caused by “speech method” that teacher used to do in learning, so that students got the low score for this subject. This research is aimed to improve student’s participation in learning religion subject by implementing True of False method. This is classroom action research with subject are students grade IV in SDN 38 Sungai Limau Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Data were obtained through observation on student’s participation in learning, observation on teacher’s activities, and final test for students. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the result of this research, student’s participation in learning: (1) percentage of students in doing discussion is 60% for cycle I and 85% for cycle II; (2)  percentage of students in proposing ideas is 50% for cycle I and 75% for cycle II; and (3) percentage of students in concluding the lesson is 30% for cycle I and 72.5% for cycle II. Thus, learning of religion subject that implement the True or False strategy can improve student’s participation in learning.
