Abstract

The development of production design in the Adibusana course requires effective instructional media to enable students to independently understand each stage of the production design process. However, the learning media currently utilized are limited to job sheets, which are less optimal in facilitating the learning process and tend to require a considerable amount of time for students to complete production designs. This study aims to develop an instructional medium in the form of a video tutorial for production design creation using the Clo3D application in the Adibusana course. The research employed a Research and Development (RD) approach using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate); however, the study was limited to the Development stage. The subjects of this research were students of the Diploma III Fashion Design Program at Universitas Negeri Padang who had completed Adibusana course. The results indicated that the developed media achieved a validity score of 86% (highly valid) from media experts and 88% (highly valid) from subject-matter experts. The practicality test yielded a score of 85% from students, categorized as highly practical. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the video tutorial for production design using the Clo3D application is highly valid, highly practical, and feasible for use as instructional media in the Adibusana course to enhance student learning outcomes. Pembuatan desain produksi pada mata kuliah Adibusana memerlukan media yang praktis agar mahasiswa dapat memahami setiap tahap pembuatan desain produksi secara mandiri. Namun, media pembelajaran yang digunakan selama ini masih terbatas pada jobsheet, sehingga kurang optimal dalam membantu proses belajar mahasiswa dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk membuat desain produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video tutorial pembuatan desain produksi menggunakan aplikasi Clo3D pada mata kuliah Adibusana. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), namun penelitian ini dibatasi hingga tahap Development. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa D3 Tata Busana Universitas Negeri Padang yang telah mengambil mata kuliah Adibusana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh validitas 86% (sangat valid) dari ahli media dan 88% (sangat valid) dari ahli materi. Uji praktikalitas menunjukkan nilai 85% dari mahasiswa yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video tutorial pembuatan desain produksi menggunakan aplikasi Clo3D sangat valid, sangat praktis, dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mata kuliah Adibusana untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.
