Abstract

Every citizen who have income, should report their income, wealth, and debt through SPT. One of the tax offices in Semarang is Tax Office of East Semarang. The aim of this research is to knowing the other dimensions of the taxpayer’s satisfaction. This research method using the quantitative descriptive, and using the validity test and reliability test, also using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) for the analysis tool. The method of the collecting data are questionnaire and interview. The result of the research is that the level of performance of the employees are lower than the level of expectation. It can be seen from the processing result and the level of performance is 3,27, and the level of expectation is 3,56. According to the level of performance and expectation, the result of the percentage is 91,85% and belongs to satisfied. The recommendation of this research is the employees should do the education and training to fix the empathy and attitude dimensions so that will increasing the satisfaction of the taxpayers.

Abstract

Trash problem is one of many problems faced by big cities in Indonesia, including Semarang City. The trash that increases every day can certainly bring new problems to the environment as well as with health. Therefore, the government of Semarang city issued a policy of Regional Regulation number 6 of 2012 on Trash management in Semarang city. This research will further discuss about the implementation of trash management policy in Semarang city. The research results showed that the implementation of trash management policy implemented in two main stages, the trash reduction stages and trash management stages. In the implementation of these two stages there are several obstacles and also found things that become an inhibiting factors and supporting factors of trash management policy implementation in Semarang city. It also explained about trash management based on upstream and downstream management. The recommendation by this research are; improve the information dissemination on trash management to the community, improve and add facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of trash management and improve the resources both from government agencies, communities and also private sector to jointly overcome the existing trash problem in Semarang city.

Abstract

The policy of protecting women and children from acts of violence is one of the steps taken by the Semarang City government to prevent, facilitate, assist and deal with victims of violence especially women in order to get services related to the violence they experience. The services provided by the Government of Semarang City is the handling of complaints, medical services, psychological services and rehabilitation, legal aid and social reintegration. This policy is determined by the government of Semarang City which then appoints the Office of Women Empowerment and Child Protection which is assisted by several agencies and technical implementing units to decrease the number of violence against women which is increasing every year, so it is necessary to take the preventive action and handling the case so as not to more increasing. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to know and analyze the process of policy implementation and the factors that inhibit. The theory used in this study is Merille S. Grindle, which states that in the implementation of a policy consists of two aspects namely view of the contents of policy and policy environment. The result of the research indicates that the existence of service and technical implementation unit, cases of violence against women can be known by the number of incoming complaints, but in the implementation of the policy is still hampered by some things such as lack of commitment and communication among members, lack of human resources, work and lack of organization of socialization to the community so that most people are not aware of the policy. It can be concluded that the implementation of the protection policy of women and children from acts of violence in the facilitation of women protection from acts of violence has not had a significant impact for the people of Semarang City since the violence is still high and increasing every year.

Abstract

Efforts to accelerate economic development is one of the government's strategy in empowering the community to reduce unemployment rate, one of them is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), because UMKM is one of the booster for growth and economic development that has contribution in creating manpower and a source of income for the community. The existence of UMKMs not only increase income, but also in the framework of equitable income for the community. This is because of the UMKM sector can involve many people with various businesses. The role of government is needed in the effort of empowerment. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the condition of empowerment of UMKM Convection and Embroidery Center in Padurenan Village, Gebog Sub-district, Kudus Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the efforts of local government represented by the Office of Industry, Cooperatives and UKM Kudus District in empowerment has been successful, but not maximal, because of some indicators of success of empowerment can not be given by the government, that is about providing aid funds as capital business for conventional and basket UMKM business actors. Recommendation based on this research is Local Government help to find fund aid to other private parties that exist in Kudus Regency or outside Kudus District.

Abstract

Enhancing the quality of public services is needed to fulfill the satisfaction of society to the service as expected. Satisfaction is the level of one’s feelings after comparing perceived performance with expectations. This research aims to determine the level of satisfaction of community members related to e-ID card service users in the process of organizing e-ID card publishing and dimensions that need to be improved to increase satisfaction on the quality service at TPDK in Disdukcapil West Semarang Sub District. The author uses quantitative research type by the number of samples as many as 97 respondents as services users at TPDK in Disdukcapil West Semarang Sub District. This research uses the measurement of satisfaction through the 6 dimensions i.e. tangible services, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and communication by comparing performance (X) and expectations (Y) that raise the feeling of satisfaction or disatisfaction. The results showed there were three dimensions with three determinants of service quality which are considered important in determining the satisfaction level of society. Which has high expectations, but the level of performance is low so that, it can be said to be less satisfactory and unsatisfactory. The three dimensions: Responsiveness, which includes a factor of quick service, Assurance, including the factor of friendliness and courtesy, Communication officers, including the factor of easement in getting information. The quality of six dimensions with 19 factors has an average of performance level 2.74 and the level of hope 3.48 with the rate of conformity of 78.69 which is categorized satisfacfactory

Abstract

Indonesia Pintar Program, hereinafter referred to as PIP, is a government cash aid granted to learners whose parents are not and / or less able to finance their education, as a continuation and expansion of the target of the Bantuan Siswa Miskin program (BSM). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation of Indonesia Pintar Program (PIP) in SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Gebog Kudus and to analyze factors influencing its implementation by using Van Meter and Van Horn implementation theory. The problems of implementation of the Indonesia Pintar Program are among others, the purpose and objectives, socialization, data collection mechanism and verification, fund distribution, communication, resources, characteristics of implementing agents and social environment. The recommendation given is that the implementing agency should be more responsible for coordinating the junior high schools and the channeling banks, be able to pay attention to the human resources involved in this Smart Indonesia program to be more adequate not only the quantity but also the quality, the implementing agent must be able to be firm and strict the violations that occur, for the social environment, especially the parents of the Smart Indonesia Program beneficiaries, should be better understood and comply with the provisions and technical program of Indonesia Pintar.
