Abstract

According to Human Development Report 2005, the quality index of Indonesian human resources showed the point 0.697 and reached the 110th levelfrom 177 observed countries. Compare with Vietnam. Indonesia is two level under it Vietnam reached 108th level with index 0.708. It means the role of country to develop people is still far from expectation. In this context, the role of all civil society pillars particularly university must be distinguished. Moreover, university faced big challenges after occuring economic, monetary and political crisis, and develop the social anomaly implied unsucces (failure) country.

Abstract

Among the most concrete. objective. authentic and unique historical evidences are the archeologist inheritance, whether temple, grave, epigraphy. artefac. and other things that support the truth and validity as a historical event. Cangkuang Temple is the one of concrete evidence in West Java as exsist as Central and East Java. This discovery is break the historian and archeologist'sopinion who determines that the kinos in West Java has no tradition to build the big monumental building as temple. Beside that a number of inheritance from lslam period. such as grave and a group of traditional houses which include an interesting etnographic object resource are needed to be conservated.

Abstract

One of the proper view in literary critical world is independentliterary work. This ideology views literary work must show the formation of element linkage that act the role and function totally Epistemologically.it shows the popular approach, that is intrinsic. which determines the independent structur that can be studied as unity with its develop element This approach contains three main ideas, they are global structural transformation, and independent idea. Therefore, understanding literary work means establishing element structure. This approach reconstructs the linkage of the literary elemet with its main basic such as text, structure, and transformation.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the similarity and the difference ofArabic and Indonesian verbal sentence structure. To get this goal used thecontrastive and comparative methods. The material object is limited by verbal sentence structure with it contains 1) single transitive sentence 2) double transitive sentence 3) intransitive sentence 4) semi transitive sentence, and passive sentence. The data resources taken from five Arabic and Indonesian grammar/syntax books chosen and analyzed quantitatively, such as describing. selecting, contrasting. and concluding. The result of analyzed data concludes some of syntax similarities between Arabic and Indonesian verbal sentence structure. This difference looks that the Arabic active verbal sentence structure more variety than Indonesian and Indonesianpassive verbal sentence structure more variety than Arabic.

Abstract

Political communication is communication activity that has political influence whether potential or actual to handle the people in conflict. While the political rhetoric defined as two ways communication that each of them realizes to influence the view of each other by reciprocal act.The debate that happened in Baghdad between Harun al-Rasyid Caliph and Imam Syafii who accused coup d'etat movement in communication context above is juridical, Imam Syafii s rhetoric message isforensic (Judicial) to show that he was success and not guilty.

Abstract

Human being is a God's creation (the Al mighty) that has basic right called human basic right to guarantee the existence of their values and prestiges and environment harmonization. The God also gives human being the freedom to manage and to take care the entire world responsibly in order to get the prosperity. Therefore, there are a forbidden of discrimination based on sex, race, and religion. Eventhough, this is not noticed by shariat, but international convension had admitted as a part of basichuman right.

Abstract

The women government (power) in Aceh Darussalam Sultanate had happened for almost 60 years by four women sultanah from 1641-1699 AD. They are Sultanah Tajul Alam Safiatuddin Syah (1641- 1675). Sultanah Nurul Alam Nagiatuddin Syah (1675- 1678), Sultanah Inayat Zakiatuddin Syah (1678-1688), and Sultanah Kamalatuddin Syah (1689-1699). There are many factors caused the sultanah raising to the power in Aceh, some of them are the particular situation and condition, such as no prince crown born.

Abstract

Defining the relationship between the islamic sciences and the social Sciences has been an issue of controversy in the intellectual discourse in the Muslim world especially since the end of the ninteen century. this paper is an attempt to explore the historical background of this debatable issue which goes back to the late days of Ottoman calipathe and to identify the way muslim thinkers and Ulama rsponded to the incoming sciences and literature from the west, which ranges from those who were aware of the realities in dealing with the intellectual invasion and incoming cultural influences, to those who welcomed what they perceived as "enlightenment", and those who adopted an extreme objectional position to any western thought. agreeing on a precise definition of the relation between the islamic and social sciences is another aspect of this controversy. some would prefer the "islamization of knowledge" concept, others see the solution inthe integration of those two group of scholars go back to the "Ta'sil" methodology in dealing with any new human sciences. in this paper the researchers porpose what we think as important conditions and prerequisties of any islamization, integration, or Ta'sil process, further more the methodology and the practical means and were of such attempts.
