Abstract

Abstract.A large classeswith anumber of studentsover 50studentsproved it is not effective inthe implementation oftask-based learning for Calculus II subject in Mathematics Education Department of FKIPJemberUniversity. On the other hand, thattheimplementationof lesson studystarted fromthejointplanning process(plan), implementinglearning(do)as well asevaluation andreflection ofthe results ofthe implementation(see), provides an opportunityto improvestudentlearning outcomes. Thus, the implementation oftask-based learningCalculusII subject throughlesson studyis expected toimprovestudentlearningoutcomes. The study was conductedon learningCalculusII even semester of2011 withthe number of participants of 56students. In this study, studentswere divided intosmall groupsconsisting of5-6 people. The Learning process is donein 4cycles with teacherr teamconsists of 3lecturers. Guidelines fortheearlylearninguseslearning materials developed by Suharto(2007). The resultsshowedthat:1.There is a significant increase inthequalityof learning materilas and varietyof learningscenarios(plan), 2.The role oflecturersis increasinglybetter to facilitate students, providingappropriateassistance,students are able tocomplete thetask ofproblemissuesthroughsmall group discussions, presentinginformationonthe cornerscan then improve the experience, and also to increase students understandingof thematerial giveneach cycle(do), and 3. studentshave the ability todo self assessment, aware of their mistakes andtheir learning outcomesis improved (see). Abstract

Abstract. Developing CTL approach of learning materials focused on learning community need to developt this time, due to the fact that students are not only abble to understand realisticly but also they should be able to work in a group. The purpose of the research is to discrible the process and result of develompent of CTL mathematics learning material focused on learning community for triangle topic seventh grade student of Junior High School. The development model refers to Plomp model, namely investigation, design, realisation, test, evaluation, revition, and implementation. The products of this research are lesson plan, worksheet, and evaluation test. Based on validation process and learning materials tryout, it can be concluded that the learning materials have fulfilled approprite with validaty, practicy, and effectivy criteria. Abstract

Abstract. PBI (Problem Based Instrustion) is a Learning Model that focused on the students mind set and activity in the learn process. The purpose of the study are to describe the process and result in the Development of Mathematics Learning Materials PBI nuanced of Pythagoras Theorem topic for Eight Grade Junior High School. The development model refers to 4D Thiagarajan models which has 4 steps are define, design, developt, and disseminate.The result of thisresearchare lesson plan, worksheet, student book, evaluation test. From the validationsource and the trial of the learning sets can be concluded that the learning sets had been appropriate with validate, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract.This research aims to know how the process and the result of developing mathematics learning materials based on NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) of trigonometry topic at grade X senior high school. This study developessyllabus, lesson plan,worksheet, evaluation test, and Studentbook.The development mathematics learning materials standardized NCTM. This development model refers to 4-D Thiagarajan and Sammel & Samel models. This four steps are defining step, designing step, developing step, and disseminating step.The product of learning materials development standardized by NCTMfortrigonometry topic has fulfilled the validation criteria, practicability, and effectiveness. Abstract

Abstract. The goals of this research were: (1) to describe the application of cooperative learning model by co-op co-op type with experiment method to increasethe activity and the result of student learning at 8th Junior High School 2 Rambipuji; (2) to describe the improvement of students learning activitiesat 8th Junior High School 2 Rambipuji; (3) to describe improvement of achievement at 8th Junior High School 2Rambipuji. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research. The research methodology of this study used Hopkins scheme model which is spiral shaped. Data collection method of this research used observation, documentation, interview, and test. The data analysis used: (1) the percentage of students learning activities; (2) the percentage of achievement. This research was done through two cycles and there was two meeting in every cycle. The percentage classically of achievement in first cycle was 84,09%. The percentage of students learning activities at first cycle was 72,21% and it involved in active category. In the second cycle, percentage classically of achievement was coming high become 86,36% and the percentage of students learning activities at second cycle was 75,81% and it involved in active category. Abstract

Abstract.The use of ICT in Indonesianeducation especially in the field of mathematics is less optimal. It would require the development of materials that use e-learning to facilitate students in learning. The device was developed by a model of learning missourimathematics project (MMP). The developments of material methods are using the method of Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel. Based on the results of the expert appraisal, validity coefficient of lesson plans,worksheets,student books, THB and e-learning in a row is 0.94; 0.96; 0.90; 0.93 and 0.92 which means the device is already valid. Observations of teachers in managing the learning ability, the percentage of student activity, student questionnaire responses, student self-assessment questionnaires and tests learning outcomes showed that the device is practical and effective. Abstract

Abstract. In mathematics learning, the scoring method used was still dominated by one scoring method which only measure the students’ factual knowledge. Thus, the scoring method should be integrated in the teaching learning process, not merely on the result of learning it self. This research was conducted to improve the grade VIII-I student’s learning achievement and their active participation through the implication of Team Games Tournament (TGT) method of cooperative learning type with authentic assessment on the surface area of the prism and pyramid at SMPN 1 Jember in the 2012/2013 academic year. The research design was Classroom Action Research (CAR), and the data collecting method used was observation, test, interview, and documentation. From the actions implemented in each cycle, it was proved that the students’ score improved from 74,68% in Cycle 1, to 80,76% in Cycle 2. Thus, the average percentage of the second cycle was 76,32% and it fulfilled the research criteria, it showed that the implication of TGT can improve the students’ learning achievment and their active participation. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to know process and result of Development of Mathematics Learning Instruments Based on Realistic Mathematics Education by Setting of Cooperative Two Stay Two Stray for System of Linear Equation in Two Variables topic at eigth grade of Junior High School. Learning instruments development model refers to Plomp models. The research has product namely lesson plan, student book, worksheet, and evaluation test. The products refer to steps of Realistic Mathematics Education and phases of Two Stay Two Stray. Based on validation process and tryout of learning instruments, it can be concluded that the learnig instruments have satisfied of the validaty, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstract. The goals of this research were: (1) to describe the application of cooperative learning type CIRC; (2) to analyze the students’ activities; (3) to analyze the students’ achievement achievement at 7 A Islamic Junior High School Jember. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research. The research methodology of this study used Hopkins scheme model which is spiral shaped. Data collection method of this research used observation, documentation, interview, and test. The data analysis used: (1) the percentage of students learning activities; (2) the percentage of achievement. This research was done through two cycles and there was two meeting in every cycle. The percentage classically of achievement in first cycle was 26,67 %. The percentage of students achievement at second cycle was 86,67 %. Abstract

Abstract.Problem Based Instruction is kind of learning model which introducing students to a real and meaningful problems. The phases of PBI are (1) orientating the students to a problem, (2) organizing the students to learn, (3) guiding the individual or group research, (4) developing and presenting the result, (5) analyzing and evaluating problem solving process. This research aims to develop the set of learning, such as syllabus, lesson plan, student book, student worksheet, and evaluation test by using Thiagarajan Model which consist of four steps such as define, design,develop, and disseminate. But this research just use the three of them, without disseminate step. SMP Negeri 3 Jember is elected as the research place. The coefficient validities of syllabus, lesson plan, student book, student worksheet, and evaluation test respectively are 0,975; 0,982; 0,984; 0,980; and 0,992. Since all of those coefficient more than 0,6, so we can conclude that the set of learning is valid and proper to be used. The reliability coefficient of evaluation test is 0,612717. Besides, the each item validity of evaluation test also showed a high number. There are five item problems where the coefficient validities of each number are 0,819533; 0,98036; 0,958226; 0,894288; and 0,960059.
