Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of Polya phase that can improve student learning outcomes in solving word problems about rectangular in VII A SMP Negeri 19 Palu. This type of research is a classroom action research. Plan of this research is based of  Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Based on the result of the research learning to use Polya phase can increase the student’s learning outcomes to solving the word problem about rectangular in VII A SMP Negeri 19 Palu, those are: 1) understanding the proble; 2) devising plan, 3) carrying out the plan;and 4) looking back at a complete solution.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of low student understanding on the items gradient is an important aspect in teaching and learning mathematics. This research was conducted with the aim of obtaining a description of the application of reinvention  methods which can increase student understanding of the items gradient in class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Palu. To improve students understanding of the items gradient, done with class action research refers to the model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of four components, namely: 1) planning, 2) implementation of the action, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The results of this study indicate that two cycles are carried out to increase understanding according to indicators of the success of the action, taken through reinvention method with the following steps: 1) formulation of the problem, 2) data processing, 3) the preparation of the provisional estimates (conjecture), 4) examination of provisional estimates; 5) verbalization provisional estimates; 6) feedback.

Abstract

Abstract: Target of this research is to obtain;get deskripsi usage of appliance physic of geometry board with invention method guided able to improve result learn class student of VII SMP Negeri 19 Palu at wide items of rhombus and kite. Research type is research of class action. The research plan refer at model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Pursuant the result of research, that study using visual appliance of geometry board with invention method guided to make active student in study and also make student find by self wide formula of rhombus and kite, so that student can keep in view the formula.

Abstract

Abstract:The Objective of this research was to obtain the learning descripsion applying guided discovery learning method in effort to increase learning outcome on material of surface area and volume of cubein VIII SMP Negeri 12 Palu. This was a classroom action research refered to Kemmis and MC Taggart reseach design. Based on the research results, the learning applied guided discovery learning method can increase students’ learning outcome on the material of surface area and volume of cube namely: (1) orienting the students on the problem, (2) organizing the students in learning, (3) guiding individual and group insvestigation, (3) presenting activity result and (5) evaluating students’ learning achievenment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research aim to the describe of applying the guided discovery method in improving the understanding of student in class VII Junior High School 6 Palu of relation interior-angle trilateral and external-angle. This Research type is class action research. Research device relate at model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart executed with two cycle. Result of research indicate that the applying of guided discovery method can improve the understanding of student in class of VII Junior High School 6 Palu in items of relation of interior-angle and trilateral external-angle with the characteristic that is: (1) lesson items presented in the form of problem, (2) concept and formula taught to pass the activity in LKS, (3) teacher of personating fasilitator in course of study, (4) interaction in class have the character of the multi instruct.

Abstract

ABSTRCT: The purpose of this research is to obtain a description of the application of Polya steps that can improve student learning outcomes in solving word problems in the operation of two sets in class VII SMP Nasional Wani. This type of research is classroom action research with research design refers to the model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The results show that the learning using Polya steps to improve student learning outcomes in solving word problems set in class VII SMP National Wani, including guiding students based on four steps Polya, namely: (1) Understanding the problem, (2) Make a plan, (3) Implement the Plan, (4) Looking back or recheck.

Abstract

This research aim to obtain a description of the implementation of guided discovery method in improving student learning outcomes in mathematical logic inference matter. The research design refers to the design of the research consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of research, performed the steps in learning with guided discovery method is to formulate the problem, analyze the data, develop conjectures, and make conclusions.
