Abstract

This study aimed to assess the differences in the level of farmers adoption of Integrated Pest Management component between farmers Alumni Field School Integrated Pest Management (SLPHT) and the farmers who have’nt followed the SLPHT onion crop. The research method used in the form of a random survey by interviewing respondents directly to the with to the  question that has been presented in the questionnaire. Sample of respondents farmers by 40 people consisting of 20 farmers SLPHT and 20 farmer non-SLPHT. The results showed that the rate of adoption of  SLPHT farmers are higher than non-SLPHT farmers with an average value is 14,30 (SLPHT) to 10,25 (Non SLPHT) and there is a significant relationship pbetween the factors that influence the rate of adoption by farmers adoption SLPHT of the components of IPM relative gain factor (6.73), compatibility (6.99), complexity (10, 65), triabilitas ( 15.38), observability (14.17) and the decision of innovation (9.37). Key Words : Adoption, farmers, Integrated Pest Management, Onion.

Abstract

The study objectives is to determine seedling growth of Gods Crown in polybag. The study design was Randomized Block Design with 6 (six) treatments and 4 (four) replications. Treatment used M0 (control), M1 (1:1:1 (soil:sand:chicken manure), M2 (1:1:2), M3 (1:2:1), M4 (2:1:1), and    M5 (2:1:2). The result of research showed that the M2 (1:1:2 (soil:sand:chicken manure) is tangible effect on plant height and number of leaves, but not give the effect to diameter stem, wet weight     of the canopy, dry weight of the canopy, wet weight of root, dry weight of root and ratio dry of    the canopy and root. Treatment M2 with composition (1:1:2) give the best result at this research. Key Words: Gods Crown (Phaleria macrocarpa L), growth, media growing composition.

Abstract

The research objective ( Analysis the behavior of the price of palm oil CPO (Crude Palm Oil ) on PT. Pasangkayu company . The research was conducted on the Company PT.Pasangkayu December 2014- February 2015. The data analysis is simple regression and correlation analysis . The results of the analysis of price changes cpo in world prices by using simple regression analysis obtained my value = -1.02 + 1,22mx coefficient is real. this is indicated by thitung ( 19.89 ) > t table ( 3.012 ) with a value of 0.000 < 0.01 level of α = 1 % , that the changes in the world price for 1 exchange rate causes changes in the price of the company amounted to 1.22 rate level . correlation analysis is Y and X = 0.991 P -Value = 0.000 , analysis showed that changes in the level of the world price level cpo prices very influential company real . Key words : Price , CPO ,  Correlation .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of various types of bokashi on growth and yield      of spinach green giti. The study used Randomized Block Design with three replications.              The treatments were several doses bokashi consisting of five levels i.e.: control, bokashi leaves of Gliricidia 40 t/ha, bokashi leaves johar 40 t/ha, bokashi leaves lamtoro 40 t/ha, and bokashi goat manure 40 t/ha. Each treatment were consists of three replicates so that there are 3 x 5 = 15 experimental units. Processing research data conducted by using ANOVA subsequent treatment effect was tested further by the least significant difference test. The results showed that the provision of various types of bokashi not significantly affect the number of leaves, plant height, stem diameter, leaf area, but the real impact on plant fresh weight. Key Words: Bokashi, Green Giti Spinach.

Abstract

Copra is a derivative product of coconut plants cultivated by the people of Indonesia. This commodityis generally used as raw material for coconut oil. Copra is produced from dried coconut meat by reducingwater contents up to 50%. One kilogram of copra is derived from four large coconuts. This study aimed to determine how much revenue received by the producers of copra in Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regency. This research was conducted in Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regency from March to May 2016 on the grounds that Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regency was one of copra producing regions. The number of respondents was amounted to 30 of the total 60 people who had been conducting copra processing business. Respondent determinationwas done using simple random sampling method. The primary data in this study were obtained by means of direct observations and interviews with selected respondents using questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from related literatures and institutions. The results of this study showed that the revenue received by the producers of copra in Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regencywas amounted to Rp 189.143.855/three months period, with average amounted to Rp 6.304.795,00/three months period. Keywords : Copra, producer, revenue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik kualitatif dan kuantitatif padi gogo lokal yang diberi bahan organik pada berbagai ketersediaan air. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan    di Screenhouse Balai Benih Hortikultura Kelurahan Petobo, dilaksanakan pada Februari sampai dengan Juni 2015. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial, faktor pertama adalah kondisi ketersediaan air yang terdiri atas 4 taraf : ketersediaan air kapasitas lapang 100%, 85%, 70% dan 55%. Faktor kedua berupa pemberian bahan organik terdiri atas 2 taraf: Tanpa Bahan Organik dan pemberian bahan organik/bokashi 20 ton ha-1. Setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali dimana setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 2 pertanaman, jadi keseluruhan tanaman berjumlah 48 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cekaman kekeringan berpengaruh pada keragaman kualitatif warna pelepah daun (hijau pucat; hijau dan hijau tua), helai daun (hijau pucat dan hijau) dan warna batang (kuning keemasan; hijau kekuningan dan hijau) dan keragaman kuantitatif tinggi tanaman, panjang malai, umur keluar malai, umur panen dan bobot gabah berisi. Perlakuan pemberian bokashi dapat meningkatkan jumlah anakan produktif dan persentase gabah berisi. Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan berbagai ketersediaan air dan pemberian bahan organik pada total luas daun dan bobot gabah berisi. Kata Kunci : Bahan organik, karakterisasi, ketersediaan air, Padi Gogo Lokal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the response of the growth of the rice plant (Oryza sativa) local cultivars at different levels of soil moisture. This study uses a randomized complete block design consisting of (1) Cultivars Rice locally as the first factor consisting of (K1) = rice cultivars Ranta, (K2) = rice cultivars njengi and (K3) = rice cultivars Sampara, (2) the level of moisture soil as a second factor consisting of (T1) = The level of moisture the ground 100% (field capacity),              (T2) = level of moisture the soil 75%, (T3) = Level moisture soil 50% and (T4) = rate of moisture land 25% , The results showed that the cultivars njengi generating plant height and stem diameter is greater than the other cultivars. Ranta cultivars showed the number of leaves, number of tillers and leaf area were higher than the other cultivars. Soil moisture level of 100% (field capacity) also results in plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf greenness (chlorophyll) and a trunk diameter greater than with other soil moisture levels. Key Words : local cultivars, rice, soil moisture.

Abstract

The study aimed to find plant spacing for better growth and yield of wetland rice crops under direct seeded planting system.  The study was arranged in a Randomized Block design with two factors i.e. two different spatial plantings and three kinds of Jajar Legowo patterns.  The plant spacing of 25 cm  x 25 cm with Jajar Legowo pattern of  2:1 produced highest grain yield (8.21 ton ha-1) followed by the plant spacing of 20cm x 20cm with Jajar Legowo pattern of 3:1 (7.21 ton ha-1).  Jajar Legowo pattern of 3:1 resulted in better plant height (74.80cm), similarly plant spacing of 25cm x 25 cm also had same plant height, more tiller number (30.69) and panicles per clump, longer panicle length and more grain number. Key Words: Jajar Legowo, Plant spacing, and Rice.

Abstract

Sidera Village was one of the villages that were potentially to become producers of paddy (rice),located in Sigi Biromaru District. This research aims to determine the revenue ofrice farming with jajar legowo pattern inSidera Village Sigi Biromaru District Sigi Regency. This research was carried out in March to April 2016,the samples taken amounted to 31 respondents from the farmer population of 110 people who cultivate rice farming with jajar legowo pattern. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The analysis of data used was revenue analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the average revenue gained by therice farmers in one planting season was Rp 10,102,095/1.15ha/PL with the average large of land owned by the respondents amounted to 1.15 ha,the total cost amounted to Rp 6,045,098, and the average revenue amounted to of Rp 16,147,193 so that in the right implementation of jajar legowo pattern, it is expected to provide benefits for the farmers. KeyWords: Farming, revenue, Rice, jajar legowo pattern.

Abstract

This study aims to determine some physical properties Inceptisols Watutela in relation to organic matter and heating temperature. The research method is through laboratory experiments using completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of two factors. The first factor is the treatment of soil organic matter derived from goat droppings and the second factor is the heating temperature treatment. Each treatment consists of three levels and repeated 6 times to obtain         54 experimental units. Treatments organic matter goat manure include: without organic matter or Control (A0), organic matter with a level of 2.5% by weight of the ground (A1), and organic matter to the level of 5% of the weight of the soil used in the research (A2). Level-the level used in the heating temperature treatment includes heating at room temperature (P0), heating in an oven at a temperature of 50°C (P1) and heating it in an oven at 70°C (P2). Data processing studies to determine the effect of treatment among study done using ANOVA F test, subsequent treatment effect was tested further by honestly significant difference test (HSD). The research variables were observed consisting of: saturated soil water content, water content of field capacity, soil bulk density, soil porosity and soil aggregate stability. The results showed that the characteristics of Inceptisols Watutela the initial soil analysis showed a sandy loam texture, organic C content of 0.89% (relatively low). Based on observations showed that organic matter goat droppings and the heating temperature individually provide highly significant effect on all variables observed physical properties of soil. The interaction between organic material and the heating temperature very significant effect on saturated soil water content and soil porosity. On the other hand, the interaction between organic matter and heating temperature effect no significant effect on the measurement of field capacity moisture content, soil bulk density and soil aggregate stability Keywords: Inceptisol, Organic Material, Physical Properties Of Soil,Temperature
