Abstract

This study aims was to determine the of marketing channels, the magnitude of the marketing margin and determine the efficiency of marketing at the home industry Flamboyan in Panau Village Tawaeli Subdistrict Palu City. The research was conducted at the home industry Flamboyan in Panau Village Tawaeli Subdistrict Palu City. The number of respondents in this study as many as 14 people consisting of on 1 person leaders, 4 person employee, 1 person retailers and 8 person consumer. Determination of the respondents in the management, employees and consumers in the industry Flamboyan in do (purposive while determining the respondents retailers in do (tracing sampling method). Based on the results of research that there are two existing marketing channels in Home Industry Flamboyan namely : Channel I : Producer - Retailers - Consumer Channel II : Producer-Consumer. Total marketing margin on the first line of Rp 105,000 with the following details for the packaging of 100 grams of Rp 20,000 , 150 grams of Rp 35,000 and Rp 50,000 packs of 250 grams. The second marketing channel marketing margins can not be found because there is no marketing agencies involved in marketing products Flamboyan fried onions . The efficiency values of the first channel marketing was 50%  and for the second channel was 0%, which is more efficient marketing channel is the second channel II.

Abstract

Jackfruit seed including recalcitrant seeds that can not be stored longer, and its high water content immediately germinate, so rapidly lose viability within a relatively short time. So that need special handling in maintaining viability and vigor during storage. This study aimed to obtain the type of packaging and appropriate storage media to maintain viability and vigor jackfruit seeds during storage. This study used a completely randomized design factorial two factors. The first factor is the packaging Basket woven bamboo, Box Styrofoam and cardboard box. The second factor is media store sawdust, rice husk and wood charcoal powder. The results showed that the use of packaging baskets woven bamboo and rice husk media play a role both in maintaining the viability and vigor of jackfruit Tulo-5 to generate higher seed moisture content that is on average 59.93%. Time germinate faster which is an average of 6.16 days. Higher growth rate is an average of 18.14% /etmal. Plant height 3, 4 and 5 higher MST each with an average of 33.81, 38.17 and 42.95 cm. The number of leaves 3, 4 and 5 MST more each with an average of 2.93, 3.60 and 3.93 strands. IVH higher averaging 4.55.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the total cost, production volume, selling price and the amount of revenue that the respondent farmers in the village of Taipa, so farms are run reach break-even point or in other words the farm does not lose nor gain profits.  Determining the location of research done intentionally purposive, with the consideration that the Taipa Village is one of the producers of onion varieties Palu valley with a pretty good productivity in the district north of Palu.  The analytical method used is the break-even point.  The results showed that, total cost of cultivation of onion varieties Palu valley Rp. 20.947.755,92 per growing season, acceptance of  Rp. 38,522, 362,87 per season with earned income of Rp. 17.574.606,95 per growing season, break-even point production of 93,73 kg and the break-even point at Rp. 1,874,600.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of various types of bokashi on phosphorus uptake of sweet corn crops. The research was conducted in the village of Sidera, District Biromaru, Sigi, Central Sulawesi Province. Analysis of soil, plant tissue and bokashi performed in the Laboratory of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako, Palu. This research was arranged in Randomized Block Design (RBD), which consists of 7 treatments and replicated 3 times so that there are 21 experimental units. Treatment that consists of control and 6 types of biomass materials of gamal, venus, peanuts, chicken manure, goat manure and cow dung, each is used as much as 15 t ha-1. The results showed that application of various types of bokashi with a dose of 15 t ha-1 increased C-organic of soil, soil pH, total P, available P and phosphorus uptake of plant sweet corn. HSD test results (5%) indicate that P uptake is highest in bokashi treatment gamal (6,74g/plant) were significantly different with bokashi treatment peanuts (3,34 g/plant), bokashi venus (3,05 g/plant), bokashi goat manure (3.01 g/plant), bokashi cow manure (1.62 g/plant), bokashi chicken manure (0,96 g/plant), and control (0,28 g/plant). In the treatment of peanut bokashi no real difference in bokashi venus and goat manure but all three types are significantly different bokashi cow manure, chicken manure and control.

Abstract

This research is made in intention to know how many income and added value of the business of ?WAJIANTO? in Countryside of Ogurandu of Subdistrict of Bolano Lambunu of Regency of Parigi Moutong. This research were done during August 2014. Respondent selection is made with observation which is watching over the situation in the field directly  and interviewing the owner or the tofu industry workers by using quisioner.  Analysis data that used is analysis descriptive which is uses to know the general illustration of the business of tofu industry and the analysis quantity which is income analysis and added value of  hayami. The result  of research shows  that the income   of    the    home   industry   ?WAJIANTO?   by   producting  tofu  during  August  2014  is  Rp. 28.000.000,  profit Rp. 10.414.789 and added value Rp. 10.337,72/kg for every 1 kg of soybeans will produce 0,7 kg tofu.

Abstract

This aims of this study is develop agribusiness information systems of Labuan Toposo Village specifically the sub system process (farming). This research conducted in Labuan Toposo Village on January to February 2015. Data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were taken by purposive method. There were 14 respondents to be reviewed. Analyze method that used in this researah are Quantitative Description, Flowchart and GIS analysis. The results showed there are 272 farmers registered in the 11 active farmer groups with total ownership of agricultural land 214.87 Ha and plantation 39.53 Ha. Most agricultural commodities grown are Chili, Corn, Cocoa, Coconut, Paddy,and Tomato. Land use consists of 60.58% for protected forest area, 23.46% for the people and the forest plantation area, 8.78% for Protected Area, 6.87% for agricultural land, and 0.31% for residential area and activity place. This study also resulted in agribusiness information system in the form of database applications for farmer groups and their members, and data agricultural commodities and websites that can display agricultural information of Labuan Toposo Village.

Abstract

A research has been done about chicken manure which aims to find out changes influence varied doses of chicken manure on the growth and yield of  peanut (arachies hypogeae) .  This study organized in a randomized block design with doses of chicken manure as follows control (without chicken manure), 2ton/ha,5ton/ha,7ton/ha,10ton/ha,12ton/ha  each treatment was repeated three times to obtain 18 experimental units.the experiment variables analiyzed by Anova and further test HSD,  Application of chicken manure with a dose of 12 tonnes effectively tested to increase result of the growth fo plant height, leaf number and weight of 100 seeds peanuts.

Abstract

A quite big amount of tomato for consumption in Indonesia is still from import. There are two strong challenges on tomato production namely low productivity and pest and diseases. The challenge to improve tomato production becomes stronger if it is planted on acid soil. Acid soil is well known to have low pH which influence on the macro nutrients availability such as N and P.  This experiment was aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Pseudomonas sp on tomato growth and P uptake on acid soil. There were 8 treatments tested namely control treatment non-sterilized soil; control sterilized soil;non-sterilized soil + Pseudomonas sp;sterilized soil +Pseudomonas sp;non-sterilized soil + Pseudomonas sp + N, P, K; sterilized soil +Pseudomonas sp + N, P,K; non-sterilized soil + N, P,K ; sterilized soil + N, P, K; and treatment was replicated 3 times. The data was then analyzed with One Way ANOVA and tested by Tukey HSD. Bacteria Pseudomonas sp amendment increased significantly Phosphor (P) concentration, uptake in the shoot of tomato, and triggered the flowering. Amendment of low concentration of N, P, K, together with Pseudomonas sp on acid soil improved significantly tomato growth (plant height, and shoot and root dry biomass), leaf chlorophyll concentration and soil bacteria total colony. The effectiveness of Pseudomonas sp on plant growth was strongly improved when the acid soil microbe diversity was maintained (non-sterilized soil).

Abstract

This study aims to determine amount of income and the feasibility of potato chips on Pundi Mas Industry. The research was conducted in Palu City in December 2014. Determination of the respondents in this research is using purposive method, the selected respondents are leaders and employees of Pundi Mas. The data used in this study is sourced from the primary data and secondary data. the analysis tool used in this research is Revenue Analysis and Feasibility Analysis. Results showed that income earned in the month of December 2014 is Rp. 22.259.250,34 or Rp. 267.111.004 and potato chips is viable businesses with R/C value of 1,77.

Abstract

Business development potential is quite large shallot cultivation. This certainly needs to be balanced with the procurement of quality seeds. One effort in this process is the improvement of quality seeds to be used, especially the seed storability. This study aims to determine the shelf life of various seed quality  packages. This research was conducted in May and July 2014 at the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 10 package of seed quality technology and 3 replications.. The treatments tested were P1 = Hanging, a height of 100 m above sea level, small tubers, 250 kg KCl / ha, P2 = Hanging, a height of 100 m a.s.l, large tubers, 100 kg KCl / ha, P3 = Hanging, a height of 100 m a.s.l, tubers large, 250 kg KCl / ha, P4 = Hanging, a height of 300 m a.s.l, large tubers, 100 kg KCl / ha, P5 = Hanging, a height of 300 m a.s.l, large tubers, 150 kg KCl / ha, P6 = Hanging, height 500 m a.s.l, large tubers, 150 kg KCl / ha, P7 = Protolan, a height of 300 m a.s.l, small tubers, 150 kg KCl / ha, P8 = Protolan, a height of 300 m a.s.l, large tubers, 150 kg KCl / ha, P9 = Protolan, a height of 500 m a.s.l, small tubers, 200 kg KCl / ha, and P10 = Protolan, a height of 500 m above sea level, large tubers, 200 kg KCl / ha. Data were analyzed by ANOVA test followed HSD 5%. The results showed storability of onion seeds in a package of technologies by hanging, altitude 500 MPL, and large tubers and giving 150 KCl / ha, produces the highest moisture content of 79.75% at 8 MSP, and the highest growth rate 46.50 % / etmal.
