Abstract

This research aims to profile precisely strategy for the cultural landscape revitalization of Krebet region with an eco-economy approach. Data were obtained from 200 person of community which doing acitivity in Krebet with structured questionnaire; and conducted by using both factor and cluster analysis. After that, as a result of Delphi method, the policy was shaped by exploring 15 experts. The priorities of policy are confirmed by analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The results indicate that revitalization indicators of Krebet’s cultural landscape are: (1) eco-museum (conservation of panoramic landscape and traditionally agriculture) and conservation of forestry function (biodiversity management and planting various trees); (2) eco-culture (uses local resources, living culture conservation and handicraft innovation) and cultural heritage conservation (traditional arts and cultural heritage). All utilizing of the attributes based on eco-economy that respects an environmentally sustainable economy. It requires that the principles of ecology establish the framework for the formulation of economic policy and that economists and egologist work together to fashion the new economy. Hence, an eco-economy is perhaps a new paradigm to an immediate needed change. For the reason, the survival of Krebet’s site in the future will fully depend on its sustainable development policy to those attributes. Management of cultural landscape in Krebet should have to focus on natural and cultural – a cultural landscape – resources where human being living. Keywords: Krebet, cultural landscape, eco-economy, revitalization

Abstract

This study examined the model development causal that can predict the green consumer behavior on organic food as green product. This study tested the influence of values orientation on environmental consciousness. This study also explained the effect of ecological knowledge, ecological affect, premium price and environment consciousness on green purchase intention. The role of gender as moderating variables on the causal model development. The analysis of 723 respondents all of those are people who influence and purchase their daily food. The result, based on path analysis using multi group structural equation modeling, indicated that the model tested had an acceptable fit. The idea implied in this research will be much help in resolving problem and decision making, connected to reinforce the green purchasing. Keywords: green consumer, attitude, behavior, organic food, gender

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop decision support system using data mining decision tree method that is built base on technical analysis of financial market (EMA, MACD, OBV, RSI, and parabolic SAR). Those indicators are arranged as a trading rule that wi l l help in buying and selling decision. The data used in this research are historical stock price in Jakarta Stock Exchange The result of this research indicates that generally the system can give number of transactions result in capital gains higher than number of transactions result in capital loss. The system also has capability to make decision with average gains are higher than decision with average losses. Investigation to profitability, geometric mean, cumulative wealth index, and sensitivity test to moving average gives the description whether stock can be traded based on technical analysis or not. This system can make easier in making decision for the users/investors that do not have enough knowledge and experiences in financial market. Keywords: decision support system, data mining, decision tree, trading rules, technical analysis.

Abstract

Currently, economic globalization brings a big impact for business environment in Indonesia. The competition capability is one of requirement to access a broader market. Instead of the manufacture’s competence itself, a conducive macroeconomic condition will support the global competition. If the target of business is a wider market, the stability of currency should be a sustain factor. One of the currency’s risks is exchange rate volatility. The bigger volatility, the bigger risk and unstable condition hence will impede intervention to foreign market. Nowadays ASEAN establish the new integration process after the AFTA trading agreement is not sufficient to construct market and generate a better welfare. AFTA is created for a better and extensive economic integration in 2020 namely ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Based on more stable economic integration, European Union, it can be concluded that a monetary agreement, moreover the common currency wi l l create more stable economic condition and exchange rate. A heterogeneous economic system, per capita income, economic level, currency and exchange rate among ASEAN countries being a problem for adjustment. This study observes the exchange rate volatility in ASEAN countries. The results of this study showed that the based on the financial integration framework indicator, ASEAN countries require a lot of adjustment that will make a more convergence economic policy to construct financial integration frameworkKeywords : Globalization, AEC, currency volaality, bussines development

Abstract

This research studies the influence of company resources (organization, enterprenuership, technology) and forex rate perception on export performance of textile industry and textile product in Indonesia. The objective is to examine 60 industrial companies of TPT in Banten (West Java) and DKI Jakarta. The result of the research indicates that, simultaneously, the independent variables (company resources and Forex rate) can predict 63.4 % of probability the dependent variable, and the rest of 36.4 % is predicted by other factors not included in this research. Partially, the resources in technology and organization cannot predict export performance probability, because the regression model of those variables are not significant. However, entreprenuership and perception regarding forex rate can predict export performance probability. This research is expected to benefit TPT industry for improving the global market competitiveness, and also company resources and forex rate researchers, regarding to the theory development and manufacturing company competitiveness in global market. Keywords: Resource- based view, forex , Textile and export performance

Abstract

This research aims at (1) finding financial ratios which can be employed to predict earning; (2) finding whether the financial ratio employed to predict bond rating is the best financial ratio to predict bond rating. Purposive sampling is put into use in collecting samples. There are 95 manufacture firms listed in BEJ as samples. The data analyzed in this research are data of audited financial reporting the year 1999-2005 and bond rating on Apri ls the year 2000-2006. Analysis methods employed in this research are (1) backward regression, to find financial ratios which can be applied to predict bond rating, and (2) factor analysis, to find the best financial ratio to predict bond rating. The best financial ratio is reflected in the value of factor loading. There are two main findings in this research, namely (1) financial ratios which can be applied to predict bond rating are SFA (productivity ratio), CFOTL (solvability ratio), and LTLTA and NWTA (the two are leverage ratio) (2) the best financial ratio to predict CACL (liquidity ratio) bond rating with loading factor valued 0.940.Keywords: financial ratio, earning, bond rating

Attribute product can help banking industry to create consumer trust by creating a product which has an important attribute by which consumer make a consideration whether the bank is credible or not. The aim of this research is to find out attribute that is important in consumer persepective and how would those attribute affecting their trust and their loyalties to the bank. Exploratory factor analysis was used to find the most important attribute product. The exploratory factor analysis result then analyized with structural equation modeling to calculate the effect of the important attribute to the consumer trust and loyalty. As a result, they are 2 factor which are Flexibility factor and Bank Competencies factor as an important attribute product which has affected trust and loyalty as well. Keywords : trust, banking, attribute product, loyalty, deposito
