Abstract

The problem in PKBL activity of benoa port is based on PKBLs loan report in 2011, there is 100% total bad debt with the details 15 bad debt of 15 loans. and from the PKBLs loan report in first semester 2012, there is 87% total bad debt with the details 26 bad debt of 30 loans. the percentages amount of bad debt is caused by mitra could not adequate to pay their loan. PKBLs officer difficult to monitor when partner could not settle their loan. In order to solve the problem, they need monitoring information system of fostered partner which give benefit to monitor financial condition of fostered partner. system will monitor with liquidity factor, solvency and profitability With the monitoring information system of fostered partner, PKBLs officer obtain the information about partners result of paying ability asessment, information about partners result of financial eficiency assessment and information about partners result of determination founding assessment.

Abstract

PT . Indonesia Indah Tobacco Citraniaga (PT IITC ) is a company engaged in the tobacco industry . Currently, the company is still using a document management system that has not been good. Thats because many approval processes , delivery , storage and retrieval of documents is performed by the manual system. This problem causes a lot of wasted time, there is accumulation of the document file and document approval process is often hampered. Based on these problems , the solutions that can be offered is to design and build a document management system application in the inventory at PT . IITC which can assist users in searching , approving , storing and sending documents. This application can be used to well in the companys internal environment. Results from the testing showed that this application can facilitate the search for documents with full text indexing system and store documents electronically. In addition , this application is able to send documents electronically because of that the courier and fax machines are not needed anymore.Keywords : document management system, application, inventory

Abstract

The tropical disease is a unique desease which often happen in tropical area. There are many types of symptoms of tropical disease which are almost similar. Somehow, it is difficult for common people to diferenciate between tropical disease. Therefore, tropical disease are not easy to be identified. A patient needs a doctor consultation and treatment in order to identify the specific diseases that are suffered. However, time of consultation, distance, and cost are several other things that need to be considered by the patients. To provide simplicity for the patient consultation, It is neccessary to build a fuzzy expert system for diagnosing the tropical disease. Fuzzy expert system for diagnosis of tropical disease by web based. The fuzzy expert system will diagnose each symptom which has been perceived by patient by providing the certainty factor value in every symptom, as well as certainty factor value of the patient answer. Based on the sequence of rules, the system will result in a diagnosed tropical disease. Our examination shows that the system gives accuracy of diagnosing at arround 93,3% . The sample was taken from 15 patients and 2 doctors. The system is able to suggestion treatment based on the type of tropical diseases which are suffered by patients. Additionaly the fuzzy expert system for diagnosing tropical diseases can be accessed at anytime and anywhere utilizing the web browser.

Abstract

Library is one of the information center , a source of knowledge and research . Library resources into place so that it can be enjoyed by many people . In a library has several processes performed one of the process is the process of returning books . In the book return process is happening right now in general are using barcode technology, barcode using the technique to facilitate the inventory record books that are in the library. At this time the library has a limited operating hours , with limited operating hours of the library can inhibit the process of returning books during the operating hours of the library was closed . to overcome these problems the need for application of automatic book return . By using the automatic book return the application process of the return of the book can be done without having to see the operating hours of the library . In the automatic book return applications can take advantage of the technological innovation that is image processing . One method of image processing is segmentation , segmentation using the technology of the book cover objects within an image can be distinguished anatara with each other .

Abstract

The development of computer network technology is currently growing exponentially along with the increasing users who make use of digital content in support of mobility. For that pupose, a provider requires a storage server which provides space for storing the digital content. Network Attach Storage (NAS) is a technology that is commonly used as a storage system. It considers to be cheap and easy for implementation. This is mainly because it can be implemented in the condition of minimal resources. On the other hand, this technology is mainly running on the open source operating system, like FreeNAS and NAS4Free This paper will discuss the performance comparation between FreeNAS and NAS4Free network operating system to analize the main activity of the storage servers, i.e. data transfer, file maintenance, and the network infrastucture. In this testing process, we used windows based file sharing common internet file system (CIFS). Parameter that are involved in the analysis are delay/latency, throughput, CPU usage, memory usage, file copy, file classification, duplicate files detection and file delete on 11 different file sizes. Based on the experiment, it is concluded thats FreeNAS operating system in general shows better performance compared to the NAS4Free. However the NAS4Free requires higher CPU usage compared to the NAS4Free.

Abstract

Abstract : PLN area of West Surabaya (SBB) has a method called Operational Performance Improvement (OPI). OPI SBB currently run manually using paper and Microsoft Excel. In carrying out this activity, PLN SBB having some problems such as : the use of manual and EMI Survey still at risk for the resulting value of the indicator, the status of workplan activities are presented in Microsoft Excel is static and can not provide actual information, and the lack of information needed by managers to monitor the development of the initiative.To overcome some of these constraints, an application named OPTIMUS + is built. OPTIMUS+ has some functions : module EMI Surveys Online, Diagnose, Design, and Deliver all activities OPI. In addition to overcoming some of these problems, OPTIMUS + built in order to obtain the required output, such as recapitulation EMI Survey, EMI Survey graphs, workplan activity status information, and summary of workplan activities via the website and Short Message Service (SMS).OPTIMUS + can assist the implementation of the OPI to be maximal activity by discouraging risk of existing constraints and provide the advantage of ease in obtaining the required output.Keywords : Operational Performance Improvemance (OPI), OPTIMUS+, Website.

Abstract

Abstract: it often heard some grumble from employee when the paid time of salary late a few hours than the normal paid time. It can imagined how if the paid time of salary late not only in a few hours but more than that, a few days. If that condition really happen it can harm employees’ motivation where motivation here are needed to give optimal service from employees to customers, in this case, patients and doctors. It same here with doctors who need on time payment and accurate total of medical remuneration because some doctor have their own medical treatment records. It only harm the hospital if a doctor feel disappointed because of some problem on the payment of medical remuneration that make that doctor want to leave that make hospital will loss reliable medical personel. So far that case is rarely happened, because of Human Resource and Development(HRD) and Financial Department always take an overtime job on a few days to make salary and medical remuneration paid on time, but they do an inefficient thing because they still do it manually. Based on that case, an application created to make their job can be processed automatically. This application connected to fingerprint system database and  HMIS database to get the data that needed and processed the data to automatically generate salary and count medical remuneration. The evaluation results of the application got 3.52 from range 1 until 4 counted using likert scale method from 10 respondent that it means the application in the good range. The application can count salary and medical remuneration accurate and faster than the way they do before. Usually HRD spent 22 minutes to count salary of one employee, but using this application, employee only need 0.1806 seconds to do it. With the application performance, it means no need for HRD and Finance Department to take overtime job again to processed it and this means that it can lower the costs for Rumah Sakit Bedah Surabaya.

Abstract

Gas Station  has  become important facilities  for today’s society especially in the big cities such as Surabaya, This is due to public demand for fuel increase from year to year. With that many demand of fuel make businessman think that the gas station business is promising. However in Surabaya there are quite a lot gas station so the competition is getting tougher. In order for gas station can gain a great benefit, businessman is required to consider the factor that can support the hustle of gas station. That factor such as good service, facilities provided by the gas station, strategic location, and etc.Among these factor the most important is the selection of  strategic location. To assist businessman in the selection of strategic location for the construction of gas station can be solved by the application of determining the location of new gas station in Surabaya. Determining the new location of new gas station in Surabaya using ELECTRE III as the method to get the recommended location that fits with the criteria of PT.Pertamina. The Results of this study are recommendations gas stations locations in the city of Surabaya based on ELECTRE III method. This system is expected to help making decisions and facilitate investor, businessman or related parties can obtain information to construct gas station in the area with potential and strategic that fulfill the criteria and based on the data obtained from various parties.

Abstract

Abstract :  Telkom MSC (Maintenance Service Center) is one of the divisions of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk which its major function is to do an infrastructure maintenance management to the telecommunication devices which is owned by Telkom. In order to perform an infrastructure maintenance management, Telkom MSC divides an area of management into seven parts, namely Area I Sumatra, Area II DKI Jakarta, Area III Jawa Barat, Area IV Jawa Tengah dan DIY, Area V Jawa Timur, Area VI Kalimantan and Area VII Kawasan Timur Indonesia (KTI). So far the process of maintenance and repair performed on PT. Telkom MSC Area V Jawa Timur is limited only refers to a standard work that has been set by management, so that there are few activities which could result in an obstacle. Those activities happened not only in the maintenance process but also at the time the repair process is being done. The problems faced by PT. Telkom MSC Area V Jawa Timur are not yet having standards on the process of what to do at the time or before an obstacle occured in the maintenance and repair processes itself, limited only doing a coordination meeting related to the obstacle that is being/has happened in order to make sure it will not happened in the future. Framework ITIL-V3 used as a reference to draw up a pattern of work which is structured. So that by the presence of this standard will give a clear directives work at the time or before an obstacle occured in the maintenance and repair processes, so that the two processes are able to walk on a sustainable basis. And, it could provide improvement recommendations in a form of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Instruksi Kerja (IK) and Rekaman Kerja (RK) based on the framework that is concerned with IT Service Continuity Management.

Abstract

The Dinas Peternakan Blitar currently has problems of recording system as well as slow process of creating report. In addition, there is a significant different number between the number of veterinarians and the number of cows, which are 22 veterinarians and 189.378 cows. Consequently, problems arised from the cows, e.g. sickness, cannot be handled properly. Based on the underlined, it is necessary to have an information system which allows farmers / communities to perform online consultation in diagnotion cow’s diseases. This system will also useful in giving for early treatment. More over the system is expected by the farm department to record the activities of a veterinarian and personnel artificial insemination in order to view the report quickly.. Based on the result, the information system of cow monitoring condition web based produces report required by the farm department. In addition this system also proved to be able to identify consultation obtained a value 4.14 (on a scale of 1-5), while the results from questionnaire of recording and reporting application menu obtained a value 4.2 (on scale of 1-5). From the statement above, it can be concluded that the application of cow monitoring condition in accordance with the requirements by user and can be easily used.
