Abstract

Abstract: PT. Baba Rafi Indonesia is a fast food franchise company, typical of the Middle East, which is now more widely known. Besides the franchise, PT. Baba Rafi Indonesia also provides raw materials to supply all outlets throughout Indonesia. Warehouse which located in Surabaya can supply approximately 20 outlets. The large number of outlets and demand for raw materials which are uncertain, make the Division of Logistics warehouse in Surabaya often face problems in providing raw material for franchises and outlets. Problems can be solved by use the forecasting application to determine the amount of raw materials that must be provided in Surabaya warehouse. Forecasting application was made from data collection, data preparation, and build application model. Based on the results of data collection, obtained pattern of the data which is tend seasonal and trend so applications forecasting use Exponential Smoothing Winter method. The next phase is implementing and evaluating applications that have been designed, whether running as expected or not. Forecasting application that was created can help Logistics Division to determine the amount of raw materials that must be provided in Surabaya warehouse based on past demand data. Report of forecasting results and list the amount of raw materials that must be purchased is expected to meet the demand for franchise and independent outlets. Abstract

The tropical disease is a unique desease which often happen in tropical area. There are many types of symptoms of tropical disease which are almost similar. Somehow, it is difficult for common people to diferenciate between tropical disease. Therefore, tropical disease are not easy to be identified. A patient needs a doctor consultation and treatment in order to identify the specific diseases that are suffered. However, time of consultation, distance, and cost are several other things that need to be considered by the patients. To provide simplicity for the patient consultation, It is neccessary to build a fuzzy expert system for diagnosing the tropical disease. Fuzzy expert system for diagnosis of tropical disease by web based. The fuzzy expert system will diagnose each symptom which has been perceived by patient by providing the certainty factor value in every symptom, as well as certainty factor value of the patient answer. Based on the sequence of rules, the system will result in a diagnosed tropical disease. Our examination shows that the system gives accuracy of diagnosing at arround 93,3% . The sample was taken from 15 patients and 2 doctors. The system is able to suggestion treatment based on the type of tropical diseases which are suffered by patients. Additionaly the fuzzy expert system for diagnosing tropical diseases can be accessed at anytime and anywhere utilizing the web browser.

Abstract

PT. E-T-A Indonesia is a branch company of E-T-A GmbH Germany which designs and produces circuit breaker. For ensuring quality according to E-T-A GmbH specification, this company needs to assess it’s employees performance on certain period. Current system requires a lot of efforts, including paperwork and time. This problem makes length of assessment is increase, and moreover the accuracy is decrease. Based on these issues, the application is made to assist the employee performance assessment process with 360 degree method. The application was created by web based. Web was used to provide data availability at the time of the assessment period will take place that will be accessible in an integrated manner. The research results showed that the application of the employee performance appraisal can help PT. E-T-A Indonesia in conduct performance appraisal process. Application performance appraisal can also help PT. E-T-A Indonesia to conduct the assessment process outside the office online.

Abstract

Abstract: The process of recruitment and selection in STIKOM Surabaya which depends on hard copy based processing, is having 4 (four) potential risks found in its administrative process, namely: Storage requirement, Extensive resources to file and search for documents, security risk, and Delay risk. To reduce or avoid such risks mentioned above, a website will be developed as a solution that comes with the ability to store document files in order to keep unauthorized parties from accessing the applicants documents, thus solving the storage requirement risk. the website will also implement administrative workflow system to direct the process or task to authorized and correct people, to keep recruitment and selection process run as usual, despite the use of paper is eliminated. based on the test result, the developed product already can solve risks mentioned above, but must be developed again on several things, such as design of the web, and the improvement of the products functions.

Abstract

Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant is a hotel in the Tanah Lot Temple area, Bali. Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant is the first hotel in Tanah Lot Temple. This hotel has problem about service quality to customer satisfaction. Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant need tool or application for analyze impact of service quality to customer satisfaction and then solve the problem. The application has quality service dimensions in customer satisfaction questionnaire. This application focus for analyze customer satisfaction questionnaire with multiple linear regression method. This application can result customer characteristic information and impact of service quality to customer satisfaction. The information will help managers for evaluation process about service quality in Dewi Sinta Hotel and Restaurant.

Abstract

Abstract : PT. E-T-A Indonesia is one of E-T-A German subsidiary that supply a circuit breaker for electro-mechanical and electro for a variety of industrial applications. At now, all departments that handle the claims should always check and open a files that integrated by Local Area Network (LAN) to determine the claims that will be done. Besides, the information from claims monitoring has not available yet. That problem can make the claims handling process has been delayed and can decrease the impact level on customer satisfaction. Based on that problems, this research will design and implement claims handling control information system to provide the monitoring claims information using administrative workflow systems methods that can help to control the timing of the claims handling process. This information system is build based on web. Web is used to provide the monitoring information claims to be accessible anywhere and anytime. The research result showed that handling control information systems can help PT. E-T-A Indonesia in controlling and monitoring the claims. Claims handling control information system is also able to help PT. E-T-A Indonesia to entry the claim data in an integrated way.

Abstract

Abstract: PT. Supramedika Prima Perwakilan Surabaya is a sole importer of medical devices and reagents from different brands in Indonesia. It’s customers are clinical laboratory and hospital in all region inside the east half of Indonesia. As a sole importer, this company must have a sufficient amount of inventory in order to complete each of their customer’s needs. In the mean time, the sale manager of this company is having a difficulty in estimating the amount of goods needed to be sold in the upcoming period. This issue needs to be resolved in order to prevent any customers that would stop buying goods from the company. An application to provide a forecast of goods demand in the future is needed to solve the issue. According to the data pattern test, the sales data has a close similarity to the seasonal and trend data pattern. That data pattern is best solved by using a specific method for forecasting, the Winter Exponential Smoothing method. After tested, the application could produce an average error from the results of forecasting at 13,2%, while the success level of implementing the Winter method is at 85,7%.

Abstract

Pandugo 200 is a company that engaged in the sale and purchase of land plots for cash and credit in Surabaya and Sidoarjo with problems 60,62% of uncollected accounts receivable. This is caused of nothing recording recapitulation of due date and many payment record books of the company. Consequently, the procedure to remind the customer to be hampered and the filing of the customer's credit worthiness decision could not be known immediately. In this study, these problems solved by building accounts receivable application at Pandugo 200 usinG Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Accounts receivable applications that has built able to monitor customer accounts receivable as a reminder of the company through the Short Message Service (SMS), presents a recording of integrated payment on each payment book, the payment classification, and a monitoring report each month accounts. Based on the testing system is known that the Account Receivable Application Pandugo 200 Surabaya has been run appropriately. The application is able to send SMS remainder of credit collection and generate accounts receivable credit reports, customer payment reports, the target of accounts receivables, the difference between the amount of revenue target information with payment claims, and track record of customer payments.
