Abstract

Word correction used to find an incorrect word in writing. Levenshtein distance is one of algorithm to correcting typing error. It is an algorithm that calculates a difference between two strings. The operations that used to the calculation are insert, delete, and substitution. However, this algorithm has a disadvantage that it cannot overcome two switched letters in the same word. The algorithm that can solve those issues is a damerau Levenshtein. This research aims to analyse a damerau Levenshtein algorithm that used to correcting Indonesian spelling. The dataset in this research consists of two fairy tale stories with a total of 1266 words and 100 typing errors. From these two algorithms, the accuracy is up to 73% on Levenshtein distance and 75% on damerau Levenshtein.

Abstract

Traffic monitoring system allows operators to monitor and analyze each traffic point via CCTV camera. However, it is difficult to monitor each traffic point all the time. This problem leads to the development of intelligent traffic monitoring system using computer vision technology which one of the features is vehicle detection. Vehicle detection still poses a challenge especially when dealing with motorcycles that occupy the majority of the road in Indonesia. In this research, a motorcycle detection method using Haar-like features and Support Vector Machine (SVM) on CCTV camera image is proposed. A set of preprocessing procedure is performed on the input image before Haar-like features extraction. The features then classified using trained SVM model via sliding window technique to detect motorcycles. The test result shows 0.0 log average miss rate and 0.9 average precision. From the low miss rate and high precision, the proposed method shows promising solution in detecting motorcycle from CCTV camera image.

Abstract

Gas is a molecule that is not bound, formless, invisible and can turn into search or solid at certain temperature pressures. LPG gas is one of the needs for industry and household needs, namely for cooking. LPG gas in Indonesia is the cause of many fires, a factor that often causes LPG gas fires is a damaged gas regulator. Therefore prevention and security are needed to minimize fires. Seeing this and given the technological developments, an intelligent Arduino-based device was created that was able to overcome this problem. This tool is equipped with MQ-2, SIM800L, and buzzer gas sensors. In an embedded device the system that can convert input data received from the sensor Mq-2 sensor works to detect propane and butane gas, then the system will send the actual data in the form of short messages (SMS) to the mobile number that has been registered into the system. Besides being able to send SMS the system also emits a sound that is generated from the buzzer

Abstract

In the Banyuwangi regency area there is a wifi service that is specifically for students, government agencies, and urban and rural communities. Hopefully everything can be done quickly and easily by utilizing internet services. To find out the level of utilization of existing services, research is conducted by making an information system. In this study an application system made based on Android using a questionnaire. The application is made based on android in the form of an E-Questionnaire that can help to access and find out the level of utilization of wifi service

Abstract

This research discusses multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) using Fuzzy-AHP methods of tourism. The fuzzy-AHP process will rank tourism trends based on data from social media. Social media is one of the channels with the largest source of data input in determining tourism development. The development uses social media interactions based on the facilities visited, including reviews, stories, likes, forums, blogs, and feedback. This experiment aims to prioritize facilities that are the trend of tourism. The priority ranking uses weight criteria and the ranking process.  The highest rank is in the attractions of the Park/Picnic Area, with the final weight calculation value of 0.6361. Fuzzy-AHP can rank optimally with an MSE value of ≈0.0002.

Abstract

The Tactile Internet (TI) is an emerging technology next to the Internet of Things (IoT). It is a revolution to develop smart cities, communities, and cultures in the future. This technology will allow the real-time interaction between humans and machines as well as machine-to-machine with the 1ms challenge to achieve in round trip latency. The term TI is defined by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in August 2014. The TI provides a fast, reliable, secure and available internet network that is the requirements of the smart cities in 5G. Tactile internet can develop the part of the world where the machines are strong, and humans are weak. It increases the power of machines so that the value of human power will increase automatically. In this framework, we have presented the idea of tactile internet for the next generation of smart cities. This research will provide a high-performance reliable framework for the internet of smart devices to communicate with each other in a real-time (1ms round trip) using IEEE 1918.1 standard. The objective of this research is expected to bring a new dimension in the research of smart cities.
