Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test empirically that internal factors (member participation, solidarity among members, education and leadership management, business scale; capital development; managerial skills; market network, the number and quality of human resources; ownership and utilization of production technology and information; management system ; the performance of the board; similarity of interests of members) and external factors (government commitment; infrastructure systems; services, education and counseling; supporting climate; lifting of government facilities; price level) affect the development of cooperatives in the city of Magelang. The sample was 34 and the cooperative management that can be processed by 27 respondents. Analysis of the data used is multiple regression. Results of fieldwork states that the board of education and leadership has a positive effect on the development of a cooperative effort. This study can not prove the other internal factors and external factors affect the development of a cooperative effort. The test results of the adjusted R2 menghaslkan 34.9% while the remaining 65.1% is influenced by other fakor outside the research model.

Abstract

This study to determine (1) whether the job stress has a significant influence on life satisfaction (2) whether the job stress has a significant influence on job satisfaction (3) whether the job satisfaction has a significant influence on life satisfaction and (4) whether the job satisfaction mediates the relationship between job stress and life satisfaction.The object of this study is PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia, located in Riau Rumbai. In this study, the population are employees office at PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia, Riau Rumbai. Kinds of data which werw collected, consist of primary data and secondary data. This study uses purposive sampling techniques with 204 respondents. Data analysis was done by using path Analysis with the help of software, SPSS 18.0, for windows. The results obtained are as follows: There is no relation between job stress on life satisfaction, between job stress and job satisfaction, and indirect relation on job stress and life satisfaction through the mediation of job satisfaction.

Abstract

The objective of this research to know whether organizational climate organizational commitment and working satisfaction have the influence to employees performance. The research held in PT. BPR Karangwaru Pratama Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative by using method survey. Data collecting conducted through questionnaire and documentation. 45 employees determined as sampel in research or conceived of a census research. Technique analyse the data use the linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. Result of research mention the organizational climate, komitmen organisasional and working satisfaction the employee own the positive and significant influence to employees performance at PT. BPR Karangwaru Pratama Yogyakarta. Level of influence of each variable that is organizational climate equal to 34,1%, organizational commitment give the influence equal to 57% and working satisfaction give the influence equal to 18,8%. Simultanly organizational climate, organizational commitment and working satisfaction own strong and significant influence to employee performance at PT. BPR Karangwaru Pratama Yogyakarta. This Matter is shown with the number of R square equal to 0,571 and number of significant Fcounted equal to 18,189 larger ones from number Ftable equal to 2,88 at level 0,05.

Abstract

The most important domain on someone’s life are work and family. Everyone have specific roles on it, and ideally he/she trying to balance it. But, it will lead work-family conflict as the demand is incompatible each other. Based on role theory, work-family conflict affect someone’s well-being. Well-being indicate someone’s happiness and sobriety, so it’s important to concern on it. In the current research, work-family conflict identified into two form, i.e. time-based and strain-based conflict. While well-being measured by job and family satisfaction. Data collected using survey method. The respondents in the current research are headmasters. Data of perceived work-family conflict gained from couple’s perceive (dyadic). It is aimed to get more valid data about perceived work-family conflict, which rarely done in the prior researches. In the current research, the hypotheses testing used multiple regression analysis. Results showed that only strain-based conflict negatively affect job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research purpose to know Donor’s perception concern accounting information in zakah management organization. The aim of this research based on three survey results. First, survey by Islamic State University Syarif Hidayatullah at 2007 resulted that 75% people unwilling donate in zakah institution who they didn’t know its accountability. Second, survey by PIRAC (Public Interest Research and Advocacy Center) at 2007 resulted that 47% people rejected to donate in zakah institution because their incredulity to institution. Third, survey by PIRAC (Public Interest Research and Advocacy Center) other at 2007 resulted 70% people disposed to public fund power pattern report by institution. Accounting information in this research based on Exposure Draft Financial Accounting Standards 109 concerning Zakah, Infak, Sedekah Accounting and Zakah Management Organization Accounting Guide by Zakah Forum. This research use survey method by quissioner. Respondent of this research are Donor who donate zakah, infak, sedekah to zakah institution in Yogyakarta. This research entangles 138 respondent. Validity test for quisioner by Pearson Product Moment Methode and reliability test by Croanbach Alpha tehnique. Hypothesis testing by t-test one sample.The result shows that Donors don’t need accounting information by financial statement over all but only some items in financial statement. They are cash, zakah balance, infaq balance, zakah fund, zakah give to other institution, zakah give to mustahiq, zakah fund institution, zakah give to mustahiq specifically, cash by zakah fund, zakah for office operational, and program of zakah institution.

Abstract

This study emphasizes about Indonesian agricultural protection in international trade. This issue became prominent after the surge of imported products especially a decade after Indonesia followed what is instructed by IMF to liberalize international trade in most of commodities. The argument of tis studi is whether government execute the policy of agricultural protection in political economy perspective, considering that government not only needs to follow international tradeade regulation, but also require to protect any infant indistry with lack of technolog such as agriculture sector. This article focused in three main things: (1) protection of agricultural commodity is indeed difficult (2) the policy seemed make it it more complicated, (3) policy is about whose interest counts. Rice commodity is used to simplify the explanation with a brief comparation with other few commodities.

Abstract

To reduce poverty rates in Indonesia, the government has introduced a program called PNPM Mandiri since 2007. The program aims to improve the quality of life and employment opportunities for the poor that is based on self-empowerment. The program is expected to be an effective tool to address poverty as is done by and for the community itself. Cooperation between the parties involved (the public, local governments and other interested parties) is critical to its success. As a priority, PNPM Mandiri is being focused on the provision and improvement of social and economic facilities, the provision of micro-loans to start economic activities for the poor, and to improve the ability of the public and local governments with training in business skills, organizational and financial management, as well as the implementation of governance good. So far there are some difficulties encountered during the implementation of programs.

Abstract

Kemajuan di bidang teknologi membawa orang dapat melakukan apapun dengan sangat mudah dan cepat termasuk dalam hal penyediaan fasilitas untuk melakukan transaksi secara online Dewasa ini banyak sekali transaksi bisnis yang dilakukan secara online sehingga antara pembeli dan penjual tidak perlu bertatap muka secara langsung.Namun ketika timbul masalah kepercayaan, maka dibutuhkan pihak ketiga untuk menjembatani sebagai suatu media untuk memudahkan bertransaksi. Rekening Bersama atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah Rek-Ber adalah media untuk membantu mempertemukan kebutuhan antara pembeli dan penjual yang dalam hal ini digunakan untuk memastikan keamanan dalam melakukan transaksi. Rek-Ber dapat menggunakan satu atau lebih bank sebagai partner untuk membantu bertransaksi antara pembeli dan penjual dengan cara mentransfer uang. Kemudahan Rek-Ber ini selain memberikan fasilitas yang memudahkan antara pembeli dan penjual, juga mempunyai dampak negatif yang potensial yang akan timbul yaitu pemanfaatan Rek-Ber untuk melakukan pencucian uang (money laundering) hasil dari tindak kejahatan. Potensi dan kerentanan Rek-Ber ini semakin besar tatkala Rek-Ber memilih lembaga keuangan yang tidak mempunyai dan tidak menjalankan program anti-money laundering sebagai partner. Untuk mendeteksi pola terjadinya pencucian uang, bank-bank sebagai partner Rek-Ber dapat menggunakan Data Mining Technology untuk mengungkap aktivitas tindak pidana pencucian uang tersebut.
