Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang penting dalam pengaturan Pola hidup yang sehat adalah ketersediaan informasi tentang kesehatan yang cepat, baik dan akurat. Kajian ini menghasilkan sistem informasi berbasis komputer yang cepat mengenai kebutuhan kalori tubuh kita sehari-hari sekaligus kita diajak untuk mengurai pola aktivitas  kita setiap hari dalam menit.Sehingga prakiraan keseimbangan kebutuhan energi aktiftas dengan konsumsi makanan yang kita konsumsi sehari-hari dapat kita lakukan. Asupan makanan sehari-hari kitapun dapat direncanakan melalui produk sistem informasi  ini, Perencanaan pola hidup sehat, selaras dan seimbangpun dapat dirancang. Dengan produk ini kita dapat  memprediksi seberapa besar sebenarnya kebutuhan kalori tubuh kita, zat makanan berupa karbohidrat , lemak dan protein yang kita butuhkan dalam satu hari.Kata Kunci:  pola hidup; kalori; pola aktivitas tubuh; asupan makananAbstract One of factor which is of important deep arrangement Pattern to live that healthy is information accessibility about fast one health, well and accurate. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa di MTs AL Asror Kota Semarang, Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan croos-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II MTs Al Asror Kota Semarang tahun pelajaran 2006/2007 yang berjumlah 183 siswa, dengan sampel 65 siswi yang diambil dengan tehnik Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian adalah 1) timbangan injak, 2) mikrotoa, 3) Stopwatch, 4) Kuesioner. Data primer diperoleh melalui pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, pengukuran tingkat kesegaran jasmani dan kuisioner. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square dengan derajat kemaknaan (α) = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang bermakana antara tingkat kesegaran jasmani dan status gizi dengan prestasi belajar siswa. Sementara itu status hemolglobin dan kebiasaan sarapan pagi secara signifikan berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar siswa. Ada hubungan yang bermakan antara kebiasaan makan pagi dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Al Asror Kota Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan kepada MTS Al Asror Kota Semarang untuk meningkatkan upaya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dengan memperhatikan variabel kesehatan seperti status hemoglobin dan kebiasaan sarapan pagi siswa. Kepada siswa, disarankan agar senantiasa sarapan pagi sebelum berangkat sekolah.Kata Kunci: tingkat kesegaran jasmani; kadar hemoglobin; status gizi; kebiasaan makan pagi; prestasi belajar siswaAbstract Research is motivated by low student achievment of the MTs Al Asror. Type of reserch is analytical survey of the approaches cross-sectional. Population in this study were students in grade 2 of the MTs Al Asror, Gunungpati, Semarang totaling 183 students, with the sample 65 school girl with techniques taken from Random Sampling. Instruments in research is 1) stepped on the scales, 2) mikrotoa, 3) stopwatch, 4) questionnaire. Data obtained in this study were processed using statistical tests chi-square with degree of significance (α) = 5%. Results showed that there was no significant association between level of physical fitness and nutritional status with students achievment. While the status of hemoglobin and breakfast habits were significantly related to student achievment. There was a significant association between eating breakfast with a grade 8 student achievment of the MTs Al Asror, Gunungpati, Semarang. Based on research results suggested to the MTs Al Asror, Gunungpati, Semarang to increase efforts to improve student achievment by taking into account variables such as health status and hemoglobin breakfast habits of students. Abstract

Telah terjadi krisis identitas di dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani (penjas) di beberapa negara di dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Banyak sekolah-sekolah yang ketika mendekati masa ujian akhir mengambil kebijakan untuk meniadakan pendidikan jasmani dan menggantinya dengan mata pelajaran IPA atau Matematika tambahan. Banyak pula guru-guru penjas yang kemudian merasa kurang percaya diri, kurang yakin apakah mata pelajaran yang diampunya betul-betul bermanfaat. Padahal banyak penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjas adalah mata pelajaran yang penting dan amat bermanfaat bagi siswa, baik secara fisiologis maupun psikologis. Manfaat-manfaat psikologis dapat dijelaskan melalui teori Neurosains maupun teori Kognitif Sosial. Bila guru-guru penjas memahami dan menyadari manfaat-manfaat penjas selain menguasai ketrampilan-ketrampilan gerak yang akan diajarkan, guru-guru tersebut akan merasa lebih percaya diri dalam mengajar penjas. Guru penjas  selain mengajarkan ketrampilan fisik juga dapat menjelaskan manfaat-manfaat ini kepada siswa, serta membina suasana yang menyenangkan dalam pendidikan jasmani. Dengan demikian para guru penjas tidak usah merasa rendah diri, dan bahkan dapat mensejajarkan diri dengan teman-teman sejawat yang mengampu mata pelajaran lain.Kata Kunci:  neurosains; teori kognitif sosialAbstract Some countries in the world including Indonesia, have been suffering from identity crisis in physical education (PE). There are many schools make absence of physical education and extend Mathematics and Physics Science. There are also many physical education teachers who are not convinced whether physical education is beneficial for their students or not. Actually, there are many research results showed that physical education is an important subject and very useful for students, physically and psychologically. Psychological benefits of physical education can be explained through Neuroscience approach or Social Cognitive approach. If the PE teachers understand and realize those benefits, beside mastering the motoric skills needed, they will be more confident in teaching their subject. They will perceive that their position is on the same level as their colleagues, who teach another subjects. They can explain those benefits to their students while teaching, and create a good climate to make their students feel happy.Keywords: neuroscience; social cognitive theory

Abstract

Pembangunan nation and character building merupakan pondasi utama dalam mensukseskan Indonesia Emas 2025. Dimana proses membangun karakter itu memerlukan disiplin tinggi karena tidaklah mudah dan seketika atau instan. Oleh karenanya diperlukan pengembangan model pembelajaran yang efektif, yaitu model pembelajaran yang mampu membangun komitmen dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai nation and character building dalam diri setiap siswa. Untuk mengembangkan model tersebut maka diperlukan sumbangsih serta peran dari rumpun mata pelajaran olahraga guna mengokohkan karakter dan dimensi kewarganegaraan, yang mencakup dimensi kewarganegaraan pribadi, sosial, spasial dan temporal. Abstract

Wheelchair athletes need to engage into physical activity and sports in order to keep their body functioning for activity for daily living (ADL) or for sporting actions. Sports also are a part of the rehabilitation program since it been introduced by Sir Ludwig Gutmann in England late 1940s. With the growth of sport activity in daily lives of persons with disabilities, it has been rightly perceived that disabled persons could obtain the same physical and emotional benefits from sport as their able-bodied counterparts, leading to an increased need to overcome limitations, opponents and records. The introduction of sports therapy in rehabilitation, as well as further involvement in sports depends on the severity of the injury, might lead a disabled person to either become a non-competitive athlete or a paralympic athlete. Athletes with Spinal cord injury facing problems with their thermoregulatory response. In relation to that, during exercise in the heat, paraplegic athletes demonstrates similar increase in core temperature compared with able-bodied athletes, but at a much lower metabolic rate, reflecting the decreased heat dissipation. Individuals who use wheelchairs vary widely in their level of cardiorespiratory fitness, some being seriously unfit and others are achieving levels that compare closely with those of fit able-bodied athletes. Wheelchair users also should be encouraged to use a hand-propelled rather than a motorized chair in daily life and to eat a diet that is well regulated to avoid accumulation of excess body fat.
