Abstract

Enhancement of mobile cellular subscribers number need amount of cell site within it BTS supporting system. It face on government policy that arrange the utilizing of the cellular common tower in order to maintain the esthetical planology city management. Abstract

The development of telecommunications, computers and electronics technology (Telematics), has provided much positive impact on education management. One of those benefits is the growing use of technology to support the automation, integration, and centralized management of learning systems,both in the classroom, laboratory, and the use ofvirtual environments (e-learning). This paper addresses to explore process of developing Integrated information -based Laboratory at Akademi Teknik dan Keselamatan Penerbangan (ATKP Surabaya). In addition to discussing the concept and system architecture, also analyzed the development and implementation on the ground. Abstract

Merekayasa PC menjadi router berbasis linux merupakan salah satu alternative untuk memiliki router sendiri di atas alasan ekonomi, bila harus membeli router buatan pabrik (router branded). Namunsejauh mana kehandalan dari router linux hasil rekayasa (router rekayasa), perlu diketahui dengan melakukan pengujian kinerjanya. Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitian sebelumnya[1], yang memanfaatkan proxy linux hasil rekayasa untukdiketahui kinerjanya.Ada beberapa cara untuk mengukur kinerja proxy dua diantaranya adalah: throughput dan bandwidth. Throughput menyatakan kecepatan pengiriman paket yang secara aktual diterima olehworkstation penerima dengan lengkap (100%) sementara Bandwidth sering digunakan sebagai suatu sinonim untuk data transfer rateyaitu jumlah data yang dapat dibawa dari sebuah titik ke titik lain dalam jangka waktu tertentu (pada umumnya dalam detik). Dengan menggunakan kedua metode diatas, router-router diuji dalam jaringan local dan kinerjanya Baling dibandingkan antara router rekayasa terhadap router branded. Pengujian menggunakan program bantu iperf atau jperf dan wireshark.Dari penelitian kinerja diketahui bahwa bandwidth proxy rekayasa sebesar: 8,998 Kbit/sec sedangkan proxy branded sebesar: 24,094 Kbit/sec. Untuk throughput, proxy rekayasa rata-rata sebesar: 1,188 MB/sec sedangkan proxy branded sebesar: 1,18621AB/sec.Keywords: proxy, bandwidth, throughput, LAN, Linux, SuSE.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop a piconet pervasive system by performingthe optimization and analysis of video streaming on the network by utilizing the bluetooth cell phones and computers media in an condition which have Wi-Fi or do not have Wi-Fi. Stages of research include : analysis of bluetooth network system, design a prototype system, audio video compression, hint track, optimization, system testing,performance measurement, and analysis of measurement results. The results obtained from measurements of packet loss value for all video compression on a client-server distance of 10 m has been fulfilling the Ciscostandard of QoS video streaming, where the smallest value obtained at 8 kbps data rate of4.38%packet loss to an condition that does not have Wi-Fi, and a distance of client - server 10 m. In condition that have Wi-Fi signal strength of-78 dBm, the smallest value obtained of 4.64%packet loss. Throughput and delay parameters of the video compression meets the QoS of video streaming in which the delay have values ranged from 0.62 - 1.81 milliseconds, while the standard of maximum delay for QoS video streaming is 5 seconds. The results showed a video streaming system that meets the Cisco standard for QoS video streaming value of the throughput, delay, jitter and packet loss.Keywords: video streaming, bluetooth, optimization, client-server, piconet pervasive

Abstract

Integrated air compressor is a system to integrate some air compressor become one unity which is supporting each other. In this system used microcontrol PIC 16F877 as compressor hardware controller and VB 6.0 as interface between compressor and user. Integrated air compressor to be designed as solution problems of arising out at conventional compressor system with damage storey level which enough high as effect of over loading, over running and over themperature. Result of test from prototype show that the design tool is good relation between compressor one with other in a integrity which each other to backup when failure execute and also not good in performance, so that this system enough effective to depressing its damage of compressor as effect of over loading, over themperature and overrunning.Keywords : Integrated air compressor, PIC 16F877, user interface VB 6.0, over loading, over themperature and over running.

Abstract

Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terkadang kita membutuhkan alat yang dapat mempermudah pekerjaan kita, itu mungkin sudah menjadi watak kita sebagai manusia yang selalu ingin serba dimudahkan. SPENSER OTOMATIS merupakan bentuk nyata dari pengembangan peralatan rumah tangga dengan Mikrokontroller Basic Mini System spenser ini di buat menjadi lebih mudah dalam pengambilan air minum. Dilengkapi dengan fhotosensor sebagai system kerja otomatis spenser ini memiliki kelebihan dari spenser biasa yang sifatnya masih manual. System kerja pada alat ini ada 3 bagian, sistem otomatis dengan memakai sensor photoelektrik, semi manual dengan puss buton, dan anual untuk antisipasi jika aliran listrik mati. Struktur kerja dan kontruksi alat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan operasionalnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengukur intensitas konsumsi energi bangunan kampus ISTN Jakarta dan mencari solusi sebagai upaya konservasi energi.Diusulkan dua alternetif  konservasi energi pada pemakaian air conditioning (AC) dan penerangan. Pada upaya konservasi energi pemakaian AC dapat menghemat pemakaian energi sebesar 36.747,46 kWh/tahun. Sedangkan pada penerangan konservasi dilakukan dengan penggantian ballast, pengurangan jam operasi dan penggantian lampu dengan lampu CFL dapat menghemat energi sebesar 145.572,90 kWh/tahun. lika keempat rekomendasi diimplementasikan dapat menurunkan besaran target intensitas konsumsi energi(IKE) doll 385,465kWh/m2/tahun menjadi 271,539 kWh/m2/tahun atau turun 29,56 %.Kata kunci: Audit energi, IKE, ballastelektronik, hemat energi, investasi.

Abstract

Sistem seluler dewasa ini berkembang cukup pesat. Sistem seluler yang dipakai saat ini antara lain: AMPS (Advanced Mobile Phone Service) di amerika utara, MCS (Mobile Communications system) di Jepang, TACS (Total Access Communications System), GSM (Group Special Mobile), Spread-Spectrum CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access). Namun bila dilihat dari metoda akses yang digunakan, padadasarnya ado 3 sistem seluler, yaitu: sistem seluler yang menggunakan metoda akses FDMA (Frequency Division Mulltiple Access), metoda akses TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access), dan metoda akses CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) (Jerry D.
