Abstract

ABSTRACT Tajen is a way of balinese tradition who came from tabuh rah ritual. The change of tabuh rah into tajen caused by gambling folks manners. Tajen as a cultural practices is forbidden by canon law and government policy, but Balinese peoples have disobey the orders. Even tajen is a part of gambling, many peoples depends on it.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pecalang represent the traditional security group owning fundamental duty to take care of the security and fluency of ritual and custom in region. Generally pecalang using black clothes completely, udeng (fastener lead the), black and white colour cloth (poleng), and bring the keris assumed dreadful, making Bali society shy at to deal by pecalang. This phenomenon use interactionalism symbolic theory from George Herbert Ad studying to hit how one can have interaction with the others do not only use the communications verbal but also with the communications non verbal, example by using symbol. Abstract

Abstract Balinese society are bound by two village system, they are village administration (village official) and traditional village (desa pakramaan). In practice, the two systems villages are often overlap . Thus, it is not uncommon cause of conflict in society. This condition is worsened by the full authority for Pakraman to manage its resources based on the Bali Provincial Regulation No. 3 of 2001 on Pakraman. In an effort to resolve conflicts need for conflict management in the form of deliberation to reach a deal. Keywords: conflict, traditional village.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The word Indie is derived from the word "independent". Indie Bands are bands that perform all activities related to music independently. Indie bands belong to minor labels, it means they have independency in distributing their albums. The aims of this research are to determine the factors related to perform social movements by Indie bands and to determine the forms of social movements. This research focuses on three Indie bands, which are Navicula, Dialog Dini Hari, and Nosstress. The theory that is used in this research is simbolic interaction through music by Mead, a conceptor in simbolic interactionism theory. Abstract

ABSTRACT Child (12-16 years old) as food peddler in the area of West Denpasar classified as child labour because they work beyond what ILO Convention No. 138 allowed for. According to UU No. 1 in 2000, they do a dangerous job like selling and bringing foods around the streets in Denpasar. This study conducted during November 2013 until July 2014 within depth interview, observation, and study document. Data analyses showed that the reason why they became child food peddler because three factors such as economic, natural environment, social culture environment and education factor. Merton’s strain social structure analyzed that organized behavior and the appearance of child peddler due to limited access which given by social structure where they came from, create strain condition. The social culture impact is they reluctance to continue their education, they using harsh language, early sex activity, and they less attention about their health being.
