Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance is mediated by job satisfaction in employees of PT .Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero)Tbk Semarang Metro Area. The population in this study was the BRI bank employees 300 people, where sampling technique with purposive sampling criteria have become a permanent employee minimum term of 5 years, in order to obtain a total sample of 103 people. Testing the research instrument to 40 items using validity by factor analysis with Alpha Chrombach reliability test, whereas data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression.The study found that the direct effect of compensation on performance. Compensation is formed especially in the form of material and social compensation, namely the existence of insurance coverage, a bonus in the achievement of targets, the promotion of an employee, and the comfort of working space. As for the performance achieved the employees in the form of quantity of work, which is achieved through teamwork targets, the division of labor, and complete the work in accordance with the procedure. Job satisfaction is not able to mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance and motivation PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia because the results obtained are not significant. Abstract

This study was investigated about the role of school culture moderated influence commitment and competence on teacher performance. Specifically, this study examine and analisys whether the role of school culture moderated influence commitment and competence on teacher performance. The contribution of this study is explain and explore the previous research about the influence school culture, commitment, and competence on teacher performance. The study population was a primary school teacher in UPT Bawang District of Batang Regency. This research data is the primary data collected directly from the respondents to the questionnaire. This researc method approach with computer software SPSS for windows version 16. The method of data analisys using moderation regression analisys (MRA) type quasi moderator. The result of this study shows an interesting empirical conditions to be further investigated as follow; the cometence was significant influence to teacher performance, but after interacting with school culture, the role school culture to weaken influence of competence on teacher performance. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of local revenue (PAD), the General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and Fiscall Stress on Fiscal Decentralization Degree of Regency / City in Central Java province in 2007-2011. The data used is Realized Budget Report regencies / cities sampled, published on its website www.djpk.depkeu.go.id. The sampling method used is the census because the object of this study is the all of 35 district and city in the province of Central Java. Types of data used are secondary data with panel data (pooled data) because it is a combination of time series and cross section data. The method of analysis used is the analysis of panel data with Pooling Least Square (PLS) and Generalized Least Square (GLS). The results showed that the variables local revenue have positive and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree, DAU have negative and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree, DAK have negative and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree, FiscallStress have positive and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree. Dependent Variable is Fiscal Decentralization Degre influenced by independent variables PAD, DAU, DAK and Fiscall Stress at 96.5% while the remaining 3.5% is explained by other variables outside the model. Abstract

This research analysis the influence of the working discipline and motivation to the teachers’ performance to with the mediation of job satisfaction at State SMK sub Rayon 04 Semarang. This research is aimed to : (1) analyze the influence of the working discipline to the job satisfaction; (2) analyze the influence of the working motivation to the job satisfaction; (3) analyze the influence of the working discipline to the teachers’ performance; (4) analyze the influence of the working motivation to the teachers’ performance; (5) analyze the influence of the job satisfaction to the teachers’ performance;The data collection of this research is using survey method and it is a population research (sensus study) which has 99 respondents. This is an explanatory research, and data analyze is using statistical analyze by the help of SPSS software for Windows Release 20.0.The results show that : (1) the working discipline has positive and significant influence to the teachers’ job satisfaction; (2) the working motivation has no significantly influence to the job satisfaction of the teacher; (3) the working discipline has positive and significant influences to the teachers’ performance; (4) working motivation has positif and significant influence to the teachers’ performance; (5) job satisfaction has positive and significant influence to the teachers’ performance; Keywords : discipline, working motivation, job satisfaction, teachers’ performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Transformational leadership and empowerment on performance, moderated by the job satisfaction in Marine Polytechnic State of Semarang.The population of this study is 98 Lecturer of Polytechnic State of Semarang. Analysis of the data was using linear regression The result of this study find that the transformational leadership is affect in job satisfaction, the empowerment is affect in job satisfaction, the transformational leadership is affect the performance of lecturers, the empowerment is effect on the performance of lectures, the job satisfaction is effect on the performance of lecturer, the job satisfaction does not mediate the transformational leadership to the performance of lecturer because the indirect effect is smaller than the direct affect and job satisfaction does not mediate the empowerment to the performance of lecturers because the indirect effect is smaller than the direct affect. Abstract

The research is for examining the effect of work motivation and teachers competent for teachers job moderation in leading headmaster (study of PAUD Teachers in UPT Dinas Pendidikan Kec. Pati ).The research is a quantitative research that used survey method by analysis descriptive. The method that used in this research is census where the same sample with the amount of population is 135 teachers, whereas the data that process is 177 teachers. The measuring used Likert Scale with 7 answers alternative. The instrument is using validity and reliability. Whereas, the model of this research is Determination Coefficient (R2) and F (Goodness of Fit). The hypothesis in this research is using Regressed analysis. Based on this research can be concluded ( i) the work motivation can be positive effect and significant for teachers job, (ii) teachers competent can not positive effect for teachers job, (iii) the leading of headmaster can not positive effect and significant for teachers job, ( iv) the leading of headmaster can improve the effect of teachers competent for teachers job. Abstract

Social capital is very useful for teachers because it will support the work process . Teachers who have social capital is both easy access to the wider resources so as to improve the quality , relevance , and timeliness of the information necessary for teachers to support their work.Entire study population Teachers in public and private high school in Kendal district , as many as 133 teachers . Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the role of “The Role of Organitation Culture to Moderate Working Motivation and Social Capital Toward Teacher’s Performance of State Junior High School in Kendal Regency”. The problems in the research are:1) Whether working motivation has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s performance. 2) Whether social capital has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s kinerja performance. 3) Whether organitation culture has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s performance. 4)Whether organitation culture moderate the effect of working motivation towards teacher’s performance. 5) Whether organitation culture moderate the effect of social capital towards teacher’s kinerja performance. This research is done toward 103 state teachers in Kendal Regency. This research is a quantitative research that analize and prove the research hypothesis.The data analysis used double regression analysis that was run through SPSS software of version 16. The result of analysis got statistically were: 1) Working motivation has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s performance, shown with hypothesis test of beta standartdized coefficient as many as .245 with significant level 0,002 that means smaller than 0,005 and means accepted hypothesis. 2) Social capital has positive effect and significant toward teacher’s performance, proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdized coefficient as many as .453 with significant level 0,000 that means smaller than 0,05 and means accepted hypothesis 3) Organitation culture has positive effect and significant toward teacher’s performance proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdizet coefficient as many as .222 with significant level 0,010 that means smaller than 0,05 and means accepted hypothesis 4) Organitation culture doesn’t moderate the effect of working motivation toward teacher’s performance proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdized interaction 3 (motivation x organitation culture) toward teacher’s performance has bête standartdized cooficient as many as -,045 with significant level .671 that means bigger than 0,05 and means unaccepted hypothesis Organitation culture doesn’t moderate the effect of social capital toward teacher’s performance proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdized coefficient as many as .009 with significant level .937 that means bigger than 0,05 and means unaccepted hypothesis. In moderation test proves that organitation culture is not the variable that moderates the effect of working motivation and social capital toward teacher’s performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influences communication interpersonal teacher, work discipline, the importance work motivation have a role as mediator variabel to communication interpersonal teacher and work discipline for increasing of teacher’s job performance in SMK Theresiana Semarang.The population in this research are 90 civil servant teachers in SMK Theresiana Semarang that used for the research as respondents.The methodologies of data collection use questionnaires with Likert scale in the range 1 – 7, and are used as primary data or data got from questionnair’s answer respondents. Statistical technique used was multiple regression analysis.The results show that communication interpersonal teacher, work discipline, and work motivation communication among teacher and work discipline can explain variations in performance of teachers SMK Theresiana Semarang by 76.4 %, the rest explained by other factors not examined in this research. The work discipline have influenced is more dominant by 23.6% than the communication interpersonal teacher for increasing of teacher’s job performance, but work motivation can to mediation communication interpersonal teacher and work discipline for increasing of teacher’s job performance in SMK Theresiana Semarang.
