Abstract

The sacredness of texts of Islamic law sources, Qur'an and Sunna, as holy texts and the ability of both in facing every evolving dynamics of human life really get the endurance examination today. On the one side, strict rules are necessary to keep the texts holy. At the same time, the rule could not limit the creativity of human thought which from the beginning was presented as God’s greatest gift for human beings. Qawa>’id Us}u>liyyah Tasyri>’iyyah in discourse of Us}u>l al-Fiqh comes in order to maintain holiness of the texts and fulfill human needs at the same time.

Abstract

Social changes faced by Muslims in the modern era have caused a number of serious problems relating to Islamic law. Islam aims to maintain basic human needs, namely: religion, body and soul, reason, honor (ancestry), and property. Among these five things, property is often a real problem inherent in human life. In Islam property is regulated through muamalah law and prohibits actions that can cause harm, such as theft, robbery, corruption, manipulation, smuggling, exploration of natural resources in an all-inclusive manner, including wasteful attitudes and consumerism. So that property has an important connection in social life. This is where al-Maraghi exegesis will explain the mal verses in the context of Indonesian society.

Abstract

This paper discusses the tawheed verses on the culture of keris maintenance in Java. The Javanese, considering the kris as a result of the process of creation, taste, intention, and work. Keris is a special weapon of the Javanese tribe and also as a weapon of ancestral relics to be preserved. Ancient keris function is as a weapon used to puncture at close range. The existence of kris, other than as a piercer weapon as well as a high value of artwork. So there is a change of perception in a keris is certainly there and become a separate phenomenon for the community. MT Arifin is a Javanese society of Islam from the Muhammadiyah group who believe the existence of a keris. He often saw his grandfather meram (bathing) the keris in suro month (Muharram), from where the beginning of his knowledge of the kris. MT Arifin is a Muslim from Muhammadiyah group who understands keris and expert in the science of pemberisan, besides he is also a political and military observer. Muhammadiyah is a group that strongly opposes the existence of tahayyul, bid'ah, and khurafat. The results showed that the keris is a typical weapon of the Javanese as evidenced by several temples on the island of Java. The temples on the island of Java some of them found an embossed image that describes the existence of a keris-shaped weapon. The function of the current keris is as a collection of objects that contain the meaning of pasemon (story). The benefits of a kris according to the Islamic view are as a means of protecting themselves from threats.

Abstract

This study focused on hadith and the science of hadith in the view of Ahlus Sunnah and Shia. Ahl al-Sunnah and Shia view the hadith as a source of Islam. The existence of different cultural roots of each group makes the Hadith can not be separated from the interests of group authority. The Shi'a believe that the revelation did not stop after the death of the Prophet Muhammad. In the verification of the hadith, the Shi'ah provided the criteria for the existence of a continuation of the ma'shum and all the narrators in the sanad came from the Shi'a group at all levels.

Abstract

Michael Cook sebagai seorang ilmuwan kelas dunia. Ia adalah seorang sejarawan berkebangsaan Inggris-Scotlandia. Selain menjadi pesohor, Cook juga seorang sarjana Sejarah Islam, maka dari itu, ia  juga dikenal sebagai salah satu sejarawan Inggris yang mahsyur di kalangan orientalis yang fokus mengkaji tentang keislaman. Artikel ini mencoba untuk menganalisis ide-ide Cook tentang tautan umum dan proses teori penyebaran aplikasi isnad dalam fenomena Kritik sanad Yang selalu menjadi perdebadatan dikalangan para pengkaji hadist adalah Keaslian sanad. Hal Ini terkait erat dengan fenomena "Common Link" yang banyak Cendekiawan Barat mengkaji tentang Hadis terkait dengan penelitian mereka . Dari Fenomena tersebut, ini menarik untuk dikaji. Berdasarkan hasil dari kajian penelitian ini, Cook membawa sudut pandang berbeda dalam fenomena Common Link yang dituangkan pada kritiknya terhadap teori Schachtian. Untuk Cook, ada dua poin penting yang terkait dengan Common Link. Pertama, Tautan Umum tidak bisa dibenarkan sebagai pemalsu hadis. Itu karena Common Link ke beberapa exctent adalah karya teknik dari narator lain (periwayat). Kedua, Common Link tidak dapat menjadi dasar penanggalan hadis.
