Abstract

With global awareness of environmental risk and the pressing needs to improve efficiency, manufacturing systems are growing into new concept. Green manufacturing is reflected to employ various green strategies and technique to produce with eco-efficient. Green manufacturing aspects on the machine level  were studied in various machining process.  On this paper presents the green manufacturing review of Rapid Prototyping process. The objective is to evaluate the factors involved in green process of RP. Several comparative RP process respect to green manufacturing criteria are described.Rapid Prototyping process uses three dimensional CAD files to fabricate a physical model. Models are usually made from variety of material such as ABS, rubber and specific metals. Each material has the environment impact during the process and recycling. RP process are known as process not suitable for making direct product. However, lates technology makes it suitable to produce the parts with reasonable cost. For near the future, the utilization of this technology is becoming increasing and green manufacturing effect should be considered.  Based on study conducted, several type of RP process is eco-efficient due to amount of waste material produced and environment impact during the process.

Abstract

Text Miningas a popular method used to perform text-based information retrieval can not be denied its use. At the beginning of the text mining method is based on the purpose of seeking to represent a collection of words from a document. Tokenizing, filtering, Stemming, Tagging and Analyzing are the critical process sequence in the methods of Text Mining, which ultimately yield important information of the most dominant in a document  that analyzed.Applying Genetic Algorithms on Text Mining methodaims to create a Related Decision Engine, a machine capable of making decisions that relate among one another and the results of analysis carried out. Analysis carried out in this study is the analysis applied to digital libraries, the information starting from the synopsis, preface and the title of the book, which will be processed the information by the methods of Text Mining. Users often only presented the information in accordance with what books you are looking for, without giving a few other books that likely her relationship with the books to be searched. Though likely will also be of interest to the user associated with the book that will be sought. In this case, the users who will find the documents were also given another information that her relationship with books that may also be an option in the user's search. This application created a web-based, using the Apache Web Server and MySQL database to support the completeness of applications built on digital libraries.

Abstract

Nowadays, the computer’s technology is growing so fast and affects the human’s life. With computer, people can do something easier, faster, more efficient, and so on. At SMAN Bandarlampung, the time schedule for teaching process is still done manually. One person is in charge of doing and making the time schedule so that all the lessons, time, classrooms, and days are supposed to be fixed and suitable for every teacher. However, this is not easy to be done, because there are some factors also that must be considered, for example: teacher who also put in structural position such as headmaster or vice headmasters. Besides, under Indonesian’s regulations, the teacher whose certificate to educate must teach at least a certain hour per week. Therefore, in order to handle this condition, we design and develop a system so that the problem can be solved easily. We use the concept of edge coloring to match the schedule. The data are divided into three sets: the set of active time, the set of classes and classroom, and the set of  teachers’ obligation (which include : the data of teachers and their subjects/lessons, and how many time/hours needed to teach for every teacher. The system developed is running well and we will be discussed in the paper.

Abstract

Wildfires are still one of the problems that are difficult to overcome and into the spotlight of the world, especially those related to Global Warming or Global Warming. During this time, it can be resolved using conventional means, but it often happens that problems in the field of fire leads to delayed treatment. Seeing these conditions, it would require methods or the relatively more rapid manner. Forest Fire Detection Systems using String Matching on the satellite imagery particularly hotspot data can be used as one solution. System uses the Boyer-Moore String Matching Algorithm on the image or images of satellite imagery by selecting a color image, convert image forms the string, and then performed a search with string.Sistem way pattern matching can provide output in the form of a warning if there are differences in the pattern string is found and exceeds the tolerance is understood as an indication of a fire on the specific forest area being processed.

Abstract

Kenken is logic puzzle which similar to Sudoku. The basic rules are same as Sudoku. As in sudoku, the goal of each puzzle is to fill a grid with digits 1 through 4 for a 4×4 grid, 1 through 5 for a 5×5, etc. No digit appears more than once in any row or column. Grids range in size from 3×3 to 9×9. Unlike sudoku, KenKen grids are divided into heavily outlined groups of cells often called “cages” and the numbers in the cells of each cage must produce a certain “target” number when combined using a specified mathematical operation (addition, subtraction, multiplication or division). ). For example, a three-cell cage specifying addition and a target number of 6 in a 4×4 puzzle might be satisfied with the digits 1, 2, and 3. Digits may be repeated within a cage, as long as they are not in the same row or column. No operation is relevant for a single-cell cage: placing the "target" in the cell is the only possibility. The target number and operation appear in the upper left-hand corner of the cage. Initially, none of the cell in a cage in Kenken has value. Kenken is such a simple logic puzzle, but finding the solution is quite complex, especially for harder problem. Therefore, research is conducted to develop software which can solve Kenken problem. The research will produce software that can solve kenken puzzle byusingheuristic search and hybrid genetic algorithm. Heuristic search will be done by applying certain logic rules. If the puzzle is still not being able to be solved then hybrid genetic algorithm will be run. How can the software solve the kenken problem will be explained in this paper. After conducting some researchs and implementing the software and doing the testing, some experiments were conducted and it proved that the hybrid genetics algorithm can solve the kenken puzzle and bbased on experiment result, the size of puzzle and the difficulty of problems affect the time needed to find a solution

Abstract

Development of information technology today is growing very rapidly. It can be seen from the increasing sophistication of technology used to process and get information. However, not all information may be known by the general public, because there is confidential information. So that confidential information can omly be know and understood by a particular party. The method used to secure confidential information may include an encryption technique. With this technique ancoded information into an information can not be read or is known by parties who are not interested. One form of morse code is a password that can be used to send confidential information.Along with this there was made an application that serves to translate the code-Morse code, so users no longer need to send and interpret the code-the conventional morse code. To make the application required the application software that supports and is compatible with applications that will be made and also needed a trainer for testing radio Morse code input. If the application can pass the test with good result, it can be used as an application of Morse code translator.

Abstract

The use of static load testing in optimising design and providing verification of suitability and constructability continues to be unsurpassed in the foundation industry. Another purpose of that load testing is either to validate the design before construction and/or to check compliance with the specification during construction The aim of this paper is to validate the design by comparing the ultimate load of Kentledge bored pile loading test with the its design, using Simplified Soil Mechanics method. The difference between Kentledge loading test and Simplified Soil Mechanics method are 13 % and 25%, if the pile bearing ultimate capacity of Kentledge loading test is computed using Mazurkiewicz and Davisson MT method.

Abstract

This document gives formatting instructions for authors preparing papers for publication in the Proceedings of an UBL-ICETD conference. The authors must follow the instructions given in the document for the papers to be published. You can use this document as both an instruction set and as a template into which you can type your own text. The present paper reviews the development of zinc-air battery. Due to its high energy density advantage, the electrochemical system has been extensively studied and developed. However, major problems associated with the electrochemical system remain a formidable challenge, the utmost being to develop an electrically rechargeable zinc-air battery. Efforts made to overcome or mitigate the limitations concerned can be conceptually classified either as solving problems or seeking solutions. The changing paradigm from the electrically rechargeable system to the mechanically rechargeable system is illustrated as an example. Emerging innovations in smart active labels - flat, flexible and functional devices, particularly in healthcare industry, instigated the authors to develop zinc-air battery as a prospective micro-power source for smart active labels. The thin battery technology developed, in collaboration between IIUM and BPPT, is of low cost, comprises of green electroactive materials, and able to operate in quasi-neutral electrolyte. These features fulfil the criteria for the battery to be incorporated into disposable smart active labels.
