Abstract

This paper explains how the process of reading the data object detection results with a certain color. In this case the object is an orange tennis ball. We use a Pixy CMUcam5 connecting to the Arduino Nano with microcontroler ATmega328-based. Then through the USB port, data from Arduino nano re-read and displayed. It’s to ensure weather an orange object is detected or not. By this process it will be exactly known how many blocks object detected, including the X and Y coordinates of the object. Finally, it will be explained the complexity of the algorithms used in the process of reading the results of the detection orange object.

Abstract

Development of prototype at data security through secret messages is needed for disguising the messages sent in smartphone chatting application, WhatsApp (WA) Chat. We propose a model to disguise a plaintext message which is first encrypted by cryptosystem to change the plaintext message to ciphertext. Plaintext or plainimage entering the smartphone system is changed into encrypted text; receiver then can read the message by using similar key with the sender. The weakness of this proposal is the message random system is not planted directly in the chatting application; therefore message removing process from cryptosystem to WA application is still needed. The strength of using this model is the messages sent will not be easily re-encrypted by hacker and can be used at client computing section.

Abstract

Development of information technology today is growing very rapidly. It can be seen from the increasing sophistication of technology used to process and get information. However, not all information may be known by the general public, because there is confidential information. So that confidential information can omly be know and understood by a particular party.The method used to secure confidential information may include an encryption technique. With this technique ancoded information into an information can not be read or is known by parties who are not interested. One form of morse code is a password that can be used to send confidential information.Along with this there was made an application that serves to translate the code-Morse code, so users no longer need to send and interpret the code-the conventional morse code. To make the application required the application software that supports and is compatible with applications that will be made and also needed a trainer for testing radio Morse code input. If the application can pass the test with good result, it can be used as an application of Morse code translator.

Abstract

   Aplikasi alat bantu ajar bahasa inggris untuk anak TK merupakan suatu sistem berbasis multimedia yang dirancang dan ditujukan pada anak usia dini sebagai media pembelajaran sebelum memasuki pendidikan formal. Tujuan pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah untuk mempermudah guru dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran, mempermudah daya tangkap anak dalam menyerap pelajaran dan menciptakan suasana menyenangkan karena aplikasi ini dilengkapi sejumlah gambar, suara, warna dan lagu yang tidak terlepas dari dunia bermain anak-anak.Melalui aplikasi ini, data input terdiri dari 10 (sepuluh) button pembelajaran pengenalan bahasa inggris. Input yang diberikan akan diolah sedemikian rupa menjadi gabungan animasi yang menarik disertai perpaduan gambar, warna dan suara. Pembuatan aplikasi alat bantu ajar bahasa inggris ini menggunakan Macromedia Flash Profesional 8. Pada system yang sedang berjalan, para guru mengalami sedikit kesulitan dalam dalam memperkenalkan pelajaran bahasa inggris kepada anak TK dikarenakan para guru harus mempersiapkan animasi dalam bentuk gambar dan binatang dengan menggunakan alat peraga seperti karton bekas, kertas warna atau tripleks, serta perlu waktu berhari-hari untuk membuat animasi baru.Aplikasi ini sangat bermanfaat karena membantu proses belajar mengajar, baik kepada guru sebagai tenaga pengajar maupun anak didik sebagai penerima pelajaran. Hasil akhir dari aplikasi ini berupa tampilan animasi yang menarik perhatian dan dapat ditangkap langsung oleh indera penglihatan.

Abstract

The development of the region cannot be separated from the concept of economic growth and the determination of the mainstay region as a regional center that is expected to have a positive impact on economic growth to the surrounding regions. In fact, the determination of the mainstay region is a difficult thing to do. Some cases of the determination of the mainstay region are mostly on the basis of the prerogative rights of the policy makers without carefully seeing the achievements of the development of a region. The objective of this study is to develop a classification model of the mainstay economic region using computational techniques. The decision tree methods of NBTree and J48 are used in this study and combined with Klassen typology. The results of this study show that J48 algorithm has better accuracy than NBTree in the formation process of decision tree. The accuracy of J48 is higher than NBTree i.e. 68.96%. The comparative result of the classification of the mainstay economic region between Klassen and J48 shows that there is a shift in the class position of the development quadrant. In Klassen classification, there are three regions that are categorized into the mainstay regions with advanced development and rapid growth (K1). Meanwhile, J48 results show that there is no region categorized into K1. However, the mainstay economic region on J48 is based on the level of development with the level below K1, i.e. K2. J48 classification results show that there are ten regencies that are categorized into the mainstay economic regions, namely Biak, Regency of Jayapura, Jayawijaya, Kerom, Merauke, Mimika, Nabire, Ndunga, Yapen, and the Municipality of Jayapura.

Abstract

Rainfall is one indicator to determine the estimated adequacy of groundwater on agricultural land. The groundwater availability produced by rain can determine cropping patterns in an area. The availability of rainfall data depends on the accuracy of information on current climate conditions. This case causes the related parties to find difficulty determining the classification of cropping patterns in the future. Accurate rainfall prediction models are needed to overcome the problem of shifting rain patterns. Rainfall prediction models in determining cropping patterns are recommended by FAO, such as linear regression, which is still widely used today. This study aims to develop a new model of rainfall prediction by using the method SARIMA to determine cropping patterns to increase crop yields. Rainfall data was used from 2010 to 2020 from seven rainfall collection stations in Sleman Regency, and they are used as training data to predict future rainfall. The output of the data analysis is a prediction of rainfall in the range of January-April, which is predicted to be high, May-August, which is predicted to be low; and September-December, which is predicted to be moderate. In addition, based on the identified cropping patterns, recommendations can be given to farmers to set cropping schedules and strategies to increase the productivity of the farmland. The testing of accuracy forecasting used relative mean absolute error (RMAE) for 12 months. The results of the forecasting accuracy test for 12 months in Sleman Regency showed RMAE average of 1.46 was considered low, for it was still below 10%.

Abstract

Kerajinan kulit adalah barang-barang yang berbahan dasar dari kulit hewan salah satunya buaya. Kulit buaya menjadi salah satu industri rumah unggulan bagi masyarakat Merauke, hal ini disebabkan karena populasi buaya begitu besar di Merauke. Kerajinan kulit pun bermacam-macam, ada yang dibuat menjadi tas, sepatu, sabuk, dompet dan masih banyak lagi lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mencari lokasi kerajinan kulit buaya,  hasil dari  Sistem tersebut dapat memberikan informasi, foto produk serta letak peta.Sistem informasi geografis kerajinan kulit buaya dirancang dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan perancangan basis data menggunakan   MYSQL, teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi    pustaka. Pengujian sistem dengan menggunakan User acceptence test (UAT) dan metode pengujian Blackbox.Hasil dari sistem yang dibuat sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, dan juga menggunakan pengujian User acceptence test (UAT), menunjukkan nilai rata-rata presentase 91% yang artinya  bahwa sistem yang dibuat bisa digunakan.

Abstract

Tanaman rempah herbal dapat mudah ditanam di area pekarangan rumah sebagai bahan alternatif bumbu dapur dan produk rempah. Kelurahan Simpang Tiga, Loa Janan banyak sekali lahan kosong yang tumbuh tanaman liar yang memilili tanah yang subur. Hal ini yang melatar belakangi diadakannya program unggulan Apotek Hidup dengan memanfaatkan lahan kosong untuk ditanami tanaman herbal dan rempah supaya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat dalam pembuatan obat herbal ataupun bumbu masakan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini memanfaatkan lahan kosong yang subur untuk digunakan penanaman rempah herbal dengan cara penyempaian jenis tanaman obat herbal seperti kunyit, bawang Dayak, jahe dan lainnya. Sasaran program kerja ini ialah warga Kelurahan Simpang Tiga RT 29. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan sosial dengan melibatkan warga untuk turut andil dalam prosesnya. Hasi pengabdian pada masyarakat ini menjadikan apotek hidup untuk edukasi kepada warga tentang manfaat menanam tanaman obat dan rempah di pekarangan rumah. Dengan keikutsertaan warga dalam proses penanaman, warga dapat mengetahui bagaimana menanam tanaman obat yang sesuai. Hasil pembibitan tanaman obat kemudian diserahkan kepada warga setempat dalam memberikan lahan hibah apotek hidup untuk dikelola secara mandiri.

Abstract

The mangrove forest ecosystem is an important ecosystem in coastal areas. It functions as a greenbelt and is able to provide a source of food for people living in coastal areas. Even the mangrove ecosystem is a habitat for various fauna that inhabit the ground floor, trees, and also the waters in this ecosystem. The role of early childhood is very important, by providing a proper understanding of both the types of fauna that inhabit the mangrove ecosystem on the coast of Kampung Kondo and what are the benefits of each fauna, children will be able to recognize the potential they have, utilize and manage the resources they have based on local wisdom they have. The method used is the exploring method where together with the children enter the mangrove forest area and the samples found are immediately identified and, together they pay attention to the habitat of the fauna found. The results of this activity are that children are able to identify 5 gastropods species, 1 shellfish species, 2 crab species, and 1 fish species, and ultimately, understand the habitat of each fauna.
