Abstract

Based on data from Statistics Indonesia from 1999 to 2010, where the number of passenger airports in Indonesia is likely to increase. This increase in the number of passengers when not accompanied by an increase in airport facilities would have caused problems in the next few years, mainly related to the comfortable of passengers at the airport.For that analysis needs to be done to get the models arrival and departure passengers at the existing condition. Independent variables used in this study is a population (X1), PDRB (X2), hotel occupancy (X3), the number of foreign tourists (X4), PMDN (X5), PMA (X6), the number of students (X7), number of lecturer (X8), exports (X9), import (X10), the number of large construction companies (X11), the number of workers (X12).

Abstract

Corrosion is a problem that always happens to the equipment of oil and gas production. Pipe production is one piece of equipment that will not be separated from the process of corrosion. Long Range Ultrasonic Testing is one method that can be used to detect the onset of corrosion in the production pipeline. The method makes use of ultrasonic waves as a medium in the complete evaluation by teletest unit as system settings. In the test series in the field of production pipe Arzon # 89 the corrosion rate will be obtained when the magnitude of the reduction is calculated first pipe wall thickness (wall loss) of yield teletest data reporting system.

Abstract

Concreteis amixture ofportlandcement,fine aggregate, coarse aggregateand waterwith orwithout additives. Palmshells are hard enough with a lot of surface rupture to beable toreplace thecoarse aggregateonconcreteproperties, especially fornonstructuralconcrete.Combinationof materialconblock concrete of 60 % palm shelland 40% sand using water-cement ratio 0.4 and 0.45 showedstrength 4.0MPa(Muhammad Shalahuddin, 2012).Mixingconcreteis done byDOEmethod,60 samplescylindricaldiameter of 15cm andheight of 30cm. Compressive strengthof concretetestedat 28 dayswith a variety of water-content ratio and a variety of coarse aggregate-palm shells.The greater the percentage of use of the palm shell, made of concrete compressive strength decreases. Concrete compressive strength decreases with increasing of water-content ratio. Variations palm shell 50% and 50% of crushed stone with water-content ratio 0.4 and 0,45 produces compressive strength above 12.5 MPa.

Abstract

This study is exploratory, which aims to particular phenomena or circumstances. Model analysis taken is to collect data, then the data is processed by quantitative classified and calculated by using a formula applied. This research was conducted with the aim of proving the influence of water flow to the radiator cooling effectiveness and calculate how much influence that occurs between the water flow to the effectiveness of the radiator. Simulator research is an engine stand of Mazda car engine in which there are few tools berhubungan.Untuk each measuring instrument can generate data measurement, components - components and gauges required including engine, radiator, fans, electric motors, pumps cooling water , flowmeter, thermometer, radiator hoses, anemometer, tachometer, stopwatchdan regulator. Abstract

Waste is meant here is a byproduct formed from woody biomass material events or ligno-cellulose fiber, a material that has not been utilized. For this case is limited to the wood processing industry.The presence of waste treatment is a problem that has been left to rot, piled and burned all of which have a negative impact on the environment so that mitigation should be considered. One way that can be taken is to use a value-added product with the applied technology and democracy so that the results are easily disseminated to the public. Evaluation results show some positive prospects as an example of applied technology can be applied satisfactorily defined in converting industrial waste into charcoal powder processing wood, charcoal briquettes, charcoal, charcoal, compost and soil conditioning.Application of applied technology and democracy can be developed into a large-scale (pilot and commercial) both technically and economically.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the balance between water availabilityin particular water needs in agriculture (rice water availability) using Gambel method for rainfall, FJ method Mockforriver flow based on rain fall.For water needs using evapotranspiration values (ETo) based on climatological data including air temperature (temperature), wind speed, solar radiation and humidity old at Rambah rain fall station from 2002 to 2011. By using the method Pennmant.The results of this study demonstrate that for 50 years and then water shed Kaiti Samo still in good shape when cared for properly.

Abstract

This work operationts tube superheater boiler has operated by PT.Rohul Sawit Indah to determain steam and electricity power plants get failure. The failures can be make some troubles for producing at the factory. So that still need risets to the resource failure. In this cases very important to create preventif maintenance and improoving for the future. We do not hope any trouble more.In the analysis of failures need testing methode for example using Destructive and Non Destructive Testing Methods like visual, chemical composition, hardnes and metalofgrafi.From this riset should determaind same probabilities about same failure cause of quality water and envirenment to pill the boiler and modes of superheater piping, superheater is creep that operation by high temperature and high pressure with need long priode by following anealing overloads and failure.

Abstract

Project team is the one of the substance structures of construction industry to execute a project. Project team has had the unique characters. Project team’s structure organization is used in short time period of the project. Project team to consist of the men who have competent in their knowledge and work relationship. Effectively and efficiency of project teamwork are requirement of project’s success in the different environment. There are any factors would influence the performance of the project team. This research aims to identify influence factors of performance project team and to analyze correlation of those factors towards project’s succes. The instrument of this research was adopted from Bubshait and Farooq articles as to Team Building and Project Success. This study was explored by using quistionnaire through project managers, site managers, and project’s staff from contractors, consultants, and the owners in Pekanbaru, Pelalawan, and Pasir Pengaraian. The Coefficient of Concordance Kendall and the Pearson’s correlation are used to analyze this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of component geometry pipeline and the pipe roughness on the performance of the pump and the pressure drop caused, then perform simulations to determine the fluid flow losses in pipe flow by using computational fluid dynamics program FLUENT 6.0 program package.Methods and objects used in this study is a series of piping by using various types of piping components. Installation tool is a Loss-Loss Test Equipment Flow Laboratory located in Pekanbaru STTP.From the results of tests performed in an actual magnitude of the resulting gas flow without doing the loading, when it is connected to the pipe line 1 maximum of 29 l / min at 2812 rpm rotation pump, and when connected to the pipe line 2 flow rate 35 l / min with the rotary pump 2849 rpm.

Abstract

This paper discusses the government's policy on the development of new energy-renewable and its relation to the utilization of palm oil waste in the form of biogas and biomass for power generation. Riau Province has a backup source of energy Biogas and Biomass from palm oil waste considerable. Biogas untapped in millers (MCC) reached 112MW, while the biomass of 905.8 MW. When this energy source utilized, can increase the electrification ratio, especially for rural areas (remote areas) reached 4.4% of the biogas and 36% of the biomass. Meanwhile, Electrification Ratio Riau Province in 2010 amounted to 43.27%, below the national average that has reached 65%. Development of Biogas PLTMG-sufficient financially beneficial to the period of return (payback period) for 6 years.
