Abstract

Niche marketing has not been the first choice for companies in carrying out their marketing strategy. Most companies prefer to fight in the mainstream market even though the opportunities are not very good. Niche marketing has long been implemented by several companies and achieved success, for example, the Apple company when pioneering the PC business. Nowadays, niche marketing is not only done by small companies but also by large companies. Companies aiming at smaller markets are expected to provide a greater chance of success because the level of competition is not as tight as the mainstream market. A smaller niche market makes the company more focus on that specific market.

Abstract

This research attempted to analyze financial performance of PT Trans Power Marine TBK that made initial public offering (IPO) in 2013. The research was done by analyzing the 5 years financial reports (2011-2015) and later compared the company’s financial performance before and after initial public offering (IPO).This research took a descriptive-analysis method. Financial reports were analyzed using financial ratios well known as relative valuation, while difference in financial performance analyzed using non-parametric statistical method “Wilcoxon”.The result from data processing and ratio analysis showed us a degradation in Trans Power Marine’s financial performance. The fact was strengthen by the result of statistical test that show us there was a difference in company’s financial performance before and after initial public offering (IPO)In the last section of this research, a recommendation to keep monitoring company’s performance is given for the company. Keywords – Financial Performance, Financial Ratio, Initial Public Offering, IPO

Abstract

Determination of government regulation number 46 of 2013 on the final income tax for SMEs aims to facilitate taxpayers in calculating the amount of tax to be paid, but the determination of government regulation number 46 of 2013 has not run smoothly, there is still noncompliance indicated by the taxpayer for that regulation, especially among SMEs. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of the rights and obligations of SMEs and final income tax liability in meeting tax compliance. The type of research used in this study is exploratory. Data were collected by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires to 52 SMEs. The analysis technique used by writer in this research is descriptive analysis.The results of this study show that there is a lack of insight into the rights of SME as a taxpayer. However, SME taxpayers quite understand their obligations a taxpayer and they quite comply with the tax regulations.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe training will provide opportunities for employees to develop existing skills, learn new things so that to improve a good employee performance is certainly needed training. This study aims to investigate the relationship of employee attitude towards training and employee performance at Hotel Grand Royal Panghegar in Bandung. The type of the research used in this study is Rank Spearman correlational. Data were collected by conducting interviews to manager HRD and distributing questioners to 37 housekeeping employee at Hotel Grand Royal Panghegar. Analysis technique that used by writer in this study is descriptive analysis. The result of testing based on hypothesis the variable employee attitude towards training and performance employee Housekeeping Department have significant relationship as evidenced by the value significance t 4,050 > 2,028 (t table), and correlation coefficient > 0.5 – 0.75 which means the employee attitude on training and employee performance have a high relationship level.The conclusion of this study is that better the attitude of employees towards training then the better the performance produced. Within employee training system, the employee performance produced at Hotel Grand Royal Panghegar Bandung is good and in accordance with what is needed by the company.Keywords: training, employee performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melakukan evaluasi dan mengetahui strategi bersaing yang digunakan oleh PT. Nannys Pavillion dalam bersaing dan memperebutkan pangsa pasar kuliner dengan segmentasi keluarga dan turis lokal maupun asing. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Data dalam tulisan ilmiah ini didapatkan dari wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap pemilik, karyawan, dan konsumen PT. Nannys Pavillion. Dalam merumusukan strategi, alat analisis yang digunakan adalah matriks, yang diintegrasikan menjadi dua tahap yaitu, input stage dan matching stage. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat ditemukan bahwa Nanny’s Pavillon menggunakan strategi diferensiasi. Strategi ini diaplikasikan agar pengunjung dapat merasakan pengalaman yang berbeda dari segi pelayanan, desain interior,juga dekorasi penyajian makanan dan pensuasanaan. Dari matriks internal-eksternal menunjukan bahwa Nanny’s Pavillon dapat melaksanakan beberapa strategi yang berbeda seperti strategi pengembangan produk dan pengembangan pasar serta strategi stabilitas.
