Abstract

Abstrak: The low activity of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 101 777 Saentis in the subject Civics in the subject matter government institutions at the central level. Therefore, this study aims to improve the students' learning activities on the subjects of Civics in the subject matter of Government Institutions in Central Level Elementary School fourth grade Saentis 101 777 FY 2013/2014. This type of research is a classroom action research. Subject of classroom action research conducted in class IV SD, totaling 31 people. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. This classroom action research consisted of 2 cycles. From the results of this study concluded that the hypothesis that the activity of student learning will increase if the applied active learning strategies trading type place on the subjects of Civics subject matter pemerintaha Institute for Central Level Elementary School fourth grade students 101 777 Saentis TA 2013/2014. Expected to increase activity on civics lesson on the subject matter of government institutions at the central level using active learning strategies trading type place.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the training method can improve learning outcomes math class V SDN 101 768 Tembung. The problem in this study is whether the training method can improve learning outcomes math class V SDN 101 768 Tembung Percut District of Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang regency. The subject of research to all fifth grade students at SDN 101 768 Tembung totaling 34 people, training method. Research was conducted on a mathematic subject "Reducing Fractions". The tools used to collect data in this study is the observation sheet for teachers, observation sheets for student motivation and list of values. The results showed that the initial conditions, the average value of the student count is 41.76%. In the first cycle the average value calculated that 58.67% of students rose from 41.76% to 58.67%., While in the second cycle there is a very significant rise, the average value of students rose to 85,29s%. The number of students who succeed in the beginning is 7 (20.59%), whereas in the first cycle = 16 (47.05%) increased in the second cycle to 29 people (85.29%).

Abstract

This study uses the procedure classroom action research with two cycles. The subjects were the vocabulary skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Tanjungbalai research variables are free vocabulary skills, talk think write model variables, and variables photo media. Research data collection techniques using test techniques and techniques nontes, consisting of observation, documentation, journals, and interviews. Analysis of data using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed that the students' vocabulary skills upgrading can be done using a model talk think write through media images. This is evidenced by the increase in vocabulary results from the first cycle to the second cycle. The results of the test cycle I reached an average of 69.36 in enough categories and the second cycle increased to 76.45 in both categories.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and student character Civics value by applying the model of problem-based learning in class VIII-1 SMP 1 Torgamba. This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects are students in the class VIII-1, amounting to 32 people. The object of this research problem-based learning model application in improving student learning outcomes and student character. Based on the results obtained by the first and second cycles can be concluded that the implementation of problem based learning in class VIII-1 to improve student learning outcomes and student scores in the category of successful characters
