Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out through classroom visit supervision techniques that can improve the ability of teachers to apply group work models to improve student learning outcomes in SDN 097320 Serapuh. This school action research was carried out in 2 cycles using classroom visit supervision techniques. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The subject of the research was the teacher class of SDN 097320 Serapuh which consisted of 3 students. Data collection methods used written tests in the form, questionnaire observation sheets, and photo results. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the average score from the observation of pre-cycle competencies carrying out learning is 61.5 or with sufficient quality and the average score of observations in cycle 1 about competence implementing learning is 71.9 or good quality level. The increase in the average score of pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 data is as follows: the results of the cycle 1 score are higher than the pre-cycle data score of 10.37, the results of the cycle 2 score are higher than the cycle 1 score that is equal to 13.9, the results of data score II are higher than the pre-cycle data score of 24.3, from 3 teachers after being supervised twice there was an increase in the ability of teachers to improve their competence in carrying out excellent learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out through the Observation of School Supervisors on the Implementation of the SQ3R Learning Model at SDN 094131 Batu Silangit This type of research is a classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were 6 public elementary school teachers. Data collection methods are used, observation sheets, and photos. At the initial ability or before being given an action, it can be seen that the average grade of the class is 70.9 and the percentage of categories is quite 100%, either 0%. The first cycle of action with the application of the SQ3R learning model through supervisor observation techniques obtained an average grade of 85.2 with a percentage of 0% enough categories and 100% enough categories. This shows an increase in pre-action test results both in terms of average class and teacher performance. In the second cycle with the application of the SQ3R learning model through supervisor observation techniques, it was found that the average grade of the class increased by 92.7 and the observation value of the teacher's activity increased to reach 100%. And the application of the SQ3R model of learning methods has a positive effect, which can increase student motivation Regency which is shown by the results of interviews with several students, the average answer states that students are interested and interested in the learning methods of the SQ3R model so they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

The problem examined in this study is the low student learning outcomes in the third semester of PGMI UIN North Sumatra. This study aims to determine the style of student learning outcomes can change the motion of an object in science courses by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning Learning Model (CTL) in the third semester of PGMI UIN North Sumatra students. The population in this study were all semester III students of PGMI UIN North Sumatra, amounting to 64 people who were divided into two classes. And the sample in this study were all members of the population or a total sample of 64 students. This type of research used in this research is a quasi experiment (quasi-experimental) using CTL model with a test data collection tool. Student learning outcomes using the CTL Model in natural science subjects have an average value of 81.83 while student learning outcomes using the Make A Match Learning Model in natural science subjects have an average value of 74.15. So it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in science subject matter Style Can Change the Motion of an Object using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Model better than using the Make A Match Learning Model in the third semester of PGMI UIN North Sumatra.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that student learning outcomes have not been maximized. The purpose of this study is the effect of Make A Match Learning Model Against Student Learning Outcomes in Natural Science Subjects in Class VI SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor. The population of this research is all students of Class VI of SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor, with a total of 50 students and the study sample is divided into two parallel classes. Data collection tools used are tests and data analysis used are normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using an Independent Test between two factors. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of Natural Sciences Magnet material and its properties after using the Make A Match Learning Model in Class VI SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor, obtained an average value of 82.57 and student learning outcomes in the subjects Science of Magnet Material and Its Properties after using Conventional Learning in Class VI Medan Johor State Elementary School, obtained an average value of 76.23. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Make A Match Learning Model Against Student Learning Outcomes in Class VI SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of think talk write learning methods on the ability to think creatively and student activities in Civics Education in SDNegeri No.060856 Medan City. This type of research is quasiexperimental. The population of this research is class V students consisting of 2 classes with 60 students. Determination of the sample with a total sampling technique that is the whole class V-A and V-B students with a total of 60 people. Research instruments to measure creative thinking skills are used tests and observation sheets for student learning activities. Data analysis techniques used a comparison of the average of two sample groups. The results of the study are that there is an influence of TTW and conventional learning methods on students' creative thinking abilities. This influence is evidenced by an increase in students' creative thinking skills during learning activities that is students dare to express new ideas, like to think of different ways, show desires through the activities that they try themselves, like to demonstrate new things, like to do things that are not known beforehand, and students dare to reveal the answers even though they do not know the truth of the answers. So there is an influence of TTW and conventional learning methods on student learning activities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the science learning outcomes are still far below the KKM value, learning models that have not been able to make students active, independent, and can develop knowledge from learning outcomes in class, students do not have the ability to think critically and students' low motivation to learn. This research was conducted on Grade VI students of SD Sudirman Medan which aims to find out: (1) The effect of PBL learning models on students 'science learning outcomes: (2) The effect of learning motivation on students' science learning outcomes; (3) The effect of learning motivation on students' critical thinking skills; (4) The effect of PBL learning models on students' critical thinking skills; (5) The effect of the interaction of PBL learning models and learning motivation on students 'science learning outcomes: (6) The effect of the interaction of PBL learning models and learning motivation on students' critical thinking skills. The sample technique in this study was conducted by cluster random sampling of two classes, class VI1 of 30 students as a control class with PBL learning models and class VI2 as a control class of 30 students who were taught with conventional learning models

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve mathematical communication skills with the independence of student learning by using a reciprocal teaching learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study consisted of all vocational students in Percut Sei Tuan District, by taking a sample of Gema Buwana Private Vocational School. Data analysis was carried out with Anava two paths. The results of this study indicate that (1) Increasing the mathematical communication skills of students taught with reciprocal teaching learning models is higher than students taught with conventional learning, (2) Increasing the learning independence of students taught with reciprocal teaching learning models is higher than students taught with conventional learning, (3) There is no interaction between learning models with students 'initial mathematical abilities to increase students' mathematical communication skills, (4) There is no interaction between learning models with students 'initial mathematical abilities towards increasing students' learning independence.

Abstract

This research aims to knows: (1) difference improving the problem solving ability of Mathematical and disposition by using Realistic Mathematical approach and Inquiry Learning approach, (2) the process of student answers in solving problems related to problem solving skills and mathematical disposition through the approach of Realistic Mathematics and Inquiry Approach. The population of this research is all students of grade VI Public Elementary School 053984 Hinai Kanan District Langkat. The sample in this research was taken by purposive sampling. The sample of this research totals 50 students consisting of two classes i.e. VI-A and VI-B. Class VI-A as experimental class I and class VI-B as a experimental class II with 25 students each. The design used in this research is quasi experiment. The instrument used in this research is the test of mathematical solving ability and disposition. Analysis of data used T-Test assisted application SPSS 18.0 for windows. The results showed: (1) there is an increasing difference between the mathematical solving abilities taught by Realistic Mathematical and Inquiry Learning approach. (2) the process of student answers taught with Realistic Mathematics Approach is better than the process of student answers given through the Inquiry Learning approach.

Abstract

This study aims to produce social studies based social studies teaching materials on historical relic materials. This type of research is development research with the Dick & Carey development model. The results showed that: (1) the learning outcomes obtained by the experimental class were higher than the learning outcomes obtained by the control class. This was seen in the results of the pre test and post test conducted by researchers. At the time of the pre-test of 31 students in class IV-A only 13 people (41.94%) completed, while another 18 people (58.06%) did not complete with RRK 60. While in class IV-B out of 34 students only 10 people (29.41%) who finished, as many as 24 more people (70.59%) had not finished with RRK 56.03. At the time of the post-test of class IV-A as many as 28 students (90.32%) had completed only 3 more people (9.68%) who did not complete with RRK 68.71. While from class IV-B as many as 33 people (97.06%) had been completed, the remaining 1 person (2.94%) who had not completed the RRK was 73.82. (2) The validity of the product also gets a very good value, it is proven from the values obtained from the four validators, namely: material validation score 3.62 (90.63%), language validation score 3.75 (93.75%), the media validation score was 3.69 (92.19%), and the learning design validation score was 4.00 (100%).
