Abstract

The research will describe the development of case-based microlearning learning video media as well as the validity and effectiveness of the product to improve the understanding of politeness in students. This research is a developmental research (RnD) using the ADDIE model. The research subjects are one learning planner, one learning media expert, one study material expert, and twenty-five small-group experimental students. The data collection method uses documentation recording, interview methods, observation methods, and questionnaire methods. Research instruments use document recording sheets, questionnaires, and interview sheets. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative description analysis. The results of the study were the development of a case study based microlearning video learning media using the ADDIE development stage, as well as the validity results on the learning planners obtained a score of 86% with good qualification, the learning media experts obtaining a rating of 96% with excellent qualifications, learning material experts obtaining a rate of 95% with excellent qualifying, the skilled professionals obtain the score of 93% with very good qualifications. So, the case study-based microlearning learning video media is worthy of use in learning.

Abstract

Drug addiction is a chronic disease that attacks the brain and becomes a problem that threatens future generations if it cannot be prevented and overcome. To encourage students to reduce the threat of drugs, an instrument is needed to map students who have high and low resilience. In this case, it is an effort to find out which treatment is appropriate and can prevent the younger generation from being exposed to drugs. So, this research aims to develop a drug addiction instrument and test the validity and reliability of the instrument. This quantitative research uses the RASCH Model to test its validity and reliability. The sample in this study was 2763 junior high school students in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. The results of the Rasch model show that in the content validity of the 23 statement items, 11 items were declared valid, 12 items had to be changed, and none of the items were discarded. Meanwhile, the instrument's reliability is 1, which is in the particular category. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the drug addiction instrument can be used to measure adolescents' resistance to the threat of drugs. Abstract

Mathematics always includes numeracy skills and analytical skills related to problem-solving in everyday life. Applying the Problem-Based Learning model with the problem-solving approach aims to improve students' analytical skills to gain new knowledge to solve problems. This research uses a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design type. To find out the effect of applying this model, namely through a test instrument in the form of a written test or essay used to measure analytical abilities according to analytical ability indicators. The research results stated that applying Problem-Based Learning with the problem-solving approach significantly influenced students' analytical skills in mathematical numeracy. It is hoped that future researchers will be able to use research on the Problem-Based Learning model with the Problem-solving approach in a longer research period.

Abstract

Students' ability to understand the concept of course topics is greatly influenced by the learning methods applied in class and each student's learning motivation. The right method will have a big influence on achieving learning outcomes. One learning method that can be used is the drill and practice method. This method is a teaching technique that involves student practice activities. With this method, students can develop dexterity and skills that are higher than those previously learned. The research method used in this research is the experimental method (pre-experimental design), where one class is used as an experimental class without a control class. This research design uses one group pretest-posttest. The research subjects consisted of 59 Office Administration Education students in the Bilingual Correspondence course at the Universitas Negeri Malang, even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, taken from 2 (two) classes, namely Offering J and L. Based on analysis, the average student skill score during the pretest was 70 while the average post test score was 85. The results of the different test (one sample t-test) and the paired sample t-test showed a sig value of 0.000. This means that there is a significant difference in the pre-test results and post-test results and the Drill and Practice method has a significant effect on student skills.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program has a positive impact on the competencies of Guidance and Counseling students in the field as practitioners. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the successful implementation of the MBKM program among students. A qualitative method was employed, utilizing a case study design with a program review option. Six students were selected as research subjects using the random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study included interview sheets, evaluation sheets, and documentation forms. Thematic analysis was utilized to examine the collected data. The analysis results indicate that three general themes contribute positively to the competencies of counselors: supporting system, experience learning, and satisfaction. The supporting system includes institutional support, mentorship, and student resources. Experience learning refers to the hands-on, practical experiences that students gain in the field, which enhance their understanding and skills. Satisfaction encompasses the students' overall contentment with the program and their perceived value of the learning experiences. Based on these results, this study can serve as a reference for future evaluations and improvements in implementing the MBKM program. These findings underscore the importance of a well-supported learning environment, practical experience, and student satisfaction in developing the competencies of Guidance and Counseling students in the field.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop interesting teaching materials for the My Country Class IV Elementary School Pancasila Education module based on the character of tolerance, able to help foster student interest, and the material is easy for students to understand so that students are able to apply the character of tolerance in everyday life. Research and Development (R&D) research method with the 4D development model. The research subjects were the class teacher and 13 fourth grade elementary school students. Data analysis involves qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results indicate that a Tolerance Character Based Module that is feasible, practical and efficient has been obtained. Feasibility = 91% with the type "very feasible", Practicality = 93% with the type "very practical", The effectiveness of the tolerance character-based module teaching materials in the posttest received an N-Gain Score interpretation of "Quite effective". These results can be concluded that learning modules can be used by teachers to increase students' interest in learning. The novelty of this research compared to previous research is the content contained in the learning module.
