Abstract

Progress and technological developments in the field of computers nowdays, is very rapidly, both hardware (hardware) and software (software). This can be seen in the era of information technology as it is now, for example, the utilization of internet media in the various agencies or schools in the data management that can’t be far apart from computer.Office of DIY province, Office districts, the Central Bureau of statistics, Ciqal Organization, Institutions and Donor agencies in the province of special region of Yogyakarta (DIY) as a whole already use internet network but it is not connected each other. Therefore, the design of the simulation of network is done using Sisco Packet Tracer application, so that all buildings can be connected each other and can exchange the information in a network where the server is located in the Centre of Yogyakarta office building. All the building techniques using point to point by adopting the topology star for connecting each other. Simulation design of the provincial office network design DIY, Office districts, the Central Bureau of statistics, Institutions and Donor agencies in the province of Special region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has been successfully carried out and have been connected properly and is ready to be applied to real life.

Abstract

Inside the world of work there are many difficulties that hinder the activities in the work, one of them is when the data sharing. They needed an application as a place or media to share information and data on a single company. Cloud storage is a solution that can provide services for the management of files by users on the network computer. The benefits derived from the user's cloud storage include data storage, data sharing, data synchronization via desktop pc or smart phone so that it can reduce the risk of data loss and ease of data sharing. Own Cloud is an open source designed to build cloud storage because it has many advantages, both in terms of ease of installation, configuration, and easier to use and having an application support for syncing with your computer or smart phone. The study was conducted based on the needs of a cloud storage system to enable employees of PT. Telkom Indonesia Kandatel perform range of data storage, data sharing and data backup, so that data storage will be centralized on a single server which is used as the storage. The system is expected to assist the work of employees in terms of sharing data through fast, precise, accurate, and efficient.

Abstract

Special Region of Yogyakarta a top of major tourist after Bali Province. Yogyakarta have many special of tourism place. For support the tourism place, then many of hotel industrial to promote and give many information about our hotel. For that, have one mobile information system about hotel location in Special Region of Yogyakarta can to display into the map. Mobile operating system like Android currently very popular among mobile phone users, because almost everyone already have.The process of making this hotel Mapping System requires primary data and secondary data obtained from Government Tourism Office Special Region of Yogyakarta. This hotel mapping system uses location-based service that combines the process of mobile services with the geographical position of its. The mobile information system making use PHP, HTML, CSS, Java programming language, MySQL database, Apache web server, and Sublime Text Editor and Android Studio IDE. This system use UML modeling system, UML modeling use is Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, and Class Diagram. Results of this research is this system can helping user to give very detailed information about hotel location, ease to search hotel location and choose hotel categories, make it easy for users to open website and call hotel by one button, and ease to input coordinate location of hotel by operator.

Abstract

At this moment, the density of someone’s own activities are not infrequently missing or forgetting to do. The Indonesian people use the book to record the important things. One of the most book types used to record is the schedule book. As the development of technology, having a digital reminder with an accurate time frame is one of eases desired many people, by using social media, sms gateway and computer technology, a notification daily schedule reminder application is made acceptable and readed using social media or SMS. This application is expected to reduce the difficulty of the client which is usually recorded in the schedule book, if the book is lost, the notes will be lost and if recorded in a mobile phone and switch the phone then records which are crucial going to be lost too.This research uses computer technology by utilizing a database server MySQL, HTML5, PHP5, CSS, JavaScript, API (facebook, twitter and whatsapp), gammu and crontab. The methods used in this research are observation, a study literature and experiment. The system uses five tables to store client, sub client and schedule data, the tables are: user, alamat_notif, pesan, penerima and h_pesan. The conclusions can be taken based on the research are: API whatsapp and API facebook chat cannot be used, the sending of messages management to the notification media can be done in accordance with priorities and time that has been determined, the sending of messages media can be done in twitter, email and sms, crontab in the research used to run php file, so the sending of messages can be done automatically, and crontab begin to walk at range of time 0 to 2 seconds.

Abstract

Transmission media needed to perform the test measurement data and to determine the performance of an existing wireless network in two different rooms. One of the transmission medium that can be used is the access point that has been connected to the server computer. The access point is required to emit a wifi signal so that the client computer can access to the server computer. Testing wireless network performance could be the solution to determine the performance of wireless networks.Implementation of wireless network performance testing used a server computer, the client computer and an access point. Testing is done by analyzing the parameters of Quality of Service (QOS) including delay, packet loss, jitter, throughput, signal strength, upload and download speeds. The tests are carried out in two different rooms and each room is done testing on two different access point placement. The method used was study of literature, network design and implementation of wireless network testing.On test results performance of a wireless network in a room divider wall first obtained on the current average, the signal strength is weak, and the barrier wall 2 obtained test results on good average, with the signal strength is good, the barrier triplex 1 obtained test results nice average and signal strength, as well as on limiting triplex 2 obtained very good results and also good signal strength. Overall wireless networks in two different rooms is able to perform well, but the barrier at about access point makes wireless network signal is disrupted and it can affect the performance of wireless networks.

Abstract

To connect the office with another office in different location, it takes the transmission media for data communication. one of the transmission media that can be used is Open VPN using the internet. OSPF routing required to connect all routers in the network using a VPN.OSPF routing on the Open VPN network, could be a solution for companies who want to build a network to connect multiple offices in different locations with a network.The implementation of OSPF routing in the Open VPN network uses three pieces of routerboard with one public IP. The testing is done by analyzing the process of selection of routing line, analysis of time speed of convergence, analysis of speed is the literature study, simulation to the virtualbox, and implementation to test-bed network.The test results convergence time using the same ISP is55,28 seconds and using a different ISP is 55,seconds. Test results on the routing update process with the same ISP is 7,23 and 9,63 seconds using a different ISP. Overall the OSPF routing on the Open VPN networks able to work well with convergence time and time routing updates fast and up to date

Abstract

Streaming Radio and Streaming Music is the audio playlists be heard exclusively live over the internet. In this case the end-users do not have to download it first and then save it on your computer, with this streaming end-users may request directly to the provider of the streaming service.Access music from streaming services is that many activities done by users on the internet today, either from music streaming services or from streaming radio service, but as the end-users they never knew whether the unused quota already fit or exceeding estimates. Therefore the author does an analysis and comparison of quotas against access music service that aims to find out the advantages and benefits that accrue to end-users against quota utilised in order to later quota can be set up efficiently in everyday use.

Abstract

All the time, mapping of computer networks in a building is a visualization in the form of 2-dimensional. To increase the quality of mapping network computer then can be made in the form of visualization mapping that resembles to the real life. It use the form of 3-dimensional (3D).The scope of the problem in this research there are a few limitation such as data collection and the creation of 3D computer network on campus 3 IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta. Objects that are examined include lecture rooms, laboratories, faculty room, and another room in campus 3 of IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta. The process of creating 3D computer network uses software google sketchUp. The data used in the form of survey results of observations of some parts of the building and photographs of every room. Network mapping results in the form of 3D is an interesting media, easily understood by users, can be used as a reference for the maintenance and development of the network, it can even be used as a means of introduction to campus building 3 description thoroughly. 3D image of computer networks and the building of the campus 3 IST AKPRIND produces up to date information about the physical building at this time.
