Abstract

The need for clean water and drinking water increased with increasingrate of population growth and increased activityin the community to meet heir needs. Then, in need ofa clean water supply that can be used by the community, not in terms of quantity but in terms of quality. This study aims tolook at the quality ofthe springs and the possibility to be developed to suppor tthe needs of water in Jorong Sawah Kareh Kenagarian Balimbing. This study aims to obtain data and information and discuss data on the quality of the spring water contained in Jorong Sawah Kareh Kenagarian Balimbing. The research is descriptive quantitative. Based on the result of the research of the physical quality(temperature, color, odor, taste and turbidity). In the first sample color and turbidity does not meet drinking water quality standards that have been set by the Minister of Health Decree No. 492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010. It can be viewed from the quality of the water chemistry (pH, Fe, Mg, Mn, NH3) springs on samples I, II and III at pH does not meet water quality standards that have been set by the Minister of Health Decree No. 492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010. And it can be viewed from the biological quality (Colli Bacteria Form) spring water, the samples II and III do not meet water quality standards that have been set by the Minister of Health Decree No. 492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010. Springs discharge in Jorong Sawah Kareh totaled 951,523.2 liters / day, while the community needs Jorong Sawah Kareh 56873.25 liters / day, so it can be interpreted that the spring water to meet the water needs of the community Jorong Sawah Kareh.

Abstract

This research on the background of the background by the number of people in Kenagarian Tigo Koto subdistrictSilungkang Palembayan Agam district rice paddy land conversion to oil palm plantations. This study aims todetermine the data or information and analyze the data in depth about how and why farmers to convert agriculturalland to paddy rice in the palm Plantations Kenagarian Tigo Koto subdistrict Silungkang Palembayan Agam district.The research is a qualitative study using snowball sampling technique. Furthermore, the data collected throughinterview, observation and documentation, after the data were obtained, the data was analyzed through imagingtechniques words. The results of the research field as follows: First, the way the management of rice farmers is morecomplex and takes a long while oil management simpler and in need of a short time. Second, the reason for farmersto convert agricultural land into oil palm plantations of lowland rice is divided into two, namely internal and externalfactors. Internal factors can be seen from the conditions of employment and income levels. Where people interestedin switching function because the work is more promising than paddy rice farming, in addition to any income earnedit more. While external factors cause farmers to convert agricultural land into oil palm plantation rice paddy views ofthe risk of failure in the rice paddy fields affected by poor water and pests, while the oil is more susceptible to pestsand irrigation systems. For the cost of production is not comparable with the results of lowland rice production in theevent of crop failure, while the cost of oil production is proportional to the output.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal emperi late, analyze the data about the relationship between capital, raw materials, labor and marketing to small business development in Padang Kanagarian Tarok Agam District of Baso.This study classified descriptive correlational research, look for relationships between variables, namely the relationship between capital (X1), raw materials (X2), labor (X3) and marketing (X4) with the development of the industry (Y). Research is the entire population of a small industrial entrepreneurs in Padang Kanagarian Tarok and samples were taken by using a sampling technique which amounts to a total of 30 industry employers, means of data collection in this study questionnaire, before the questionnaires were distributed to the entire study sample.The results of this study, (1) There is a significant and positive relationship between the capital with little industrial development in the district of Padang Tarok Baso Kanagarian Agam District. Capital analysis of variance of 36.8% for industrial development contribute, (2) a significant relationship and feedstock positifantara with the development of small industries in Padang Kanagarian Tarok Agam District of Baso. Analysis of variance of raw materials contributed 82.2% to the industrial development variables. (3) There is a significant and positive relationship between the workers and the development of small industries in Padang Kanagarian Tarok Agam District of Baso. Employment Analysis of variance contributed 13.6% towards the development of the industry. (4) There is a significant and positive relationship between marketing to small business development in Padang Kanagarian Tarok Agam District of Baso. Marketing Analysis of variance contributed 18.1% towards the development of the industry. (5) capital, raw materials, labor and marketing together 88.9% influence on the development of the industry.

Abstract

This research is purposed to get data or informations and analyze as deepen aboutmanagement of fried fish at Kenagarian Sasak Kecamatan Sasak Ranah Pasisie KabupatenPasaman Barat, from the aspects as follow : 1) stok of basic commodity, 2) teachnique to drying offried fish, 3) marketing of fried fish.Kind of this reseach is qualitative, system approach try to reveal about management offried fish at Kenagarian Sasak Kecamatan Sasak Ranah Pasisie Kabupaten Pasaman Barat,informant be taken with puposive sampling techinique that consist of society who manage the friedfish. And buyer teachnique of analysis data be done with reduction data, presentation data anddraw a conclusion.The result shows that: 1) stock of basic commodity of fried fish at Kenagarian SasakKecamatan Sasak Ranah Pasisie Kabupaten Pasaman Barat be sufficient and quite much. The fishis top commodity for society around. It is need to be keeped the stability so that stock of ish becontinued and it can be depended life for fisherman and manager of fried fish, 2) teachnique andprocess of management fried fish at Kenagarian Sasak Kecamatan Sasak Ranah Pasisie KabupatenPasaman Barat are stilltraditional, still use the simple tools, hand made and be Kecamatan SasakRanah Pasisie Kabupaten Pasaman Barat is the fish that be produced direet send to the collector,most of the fish be carried to the markets around, and most of buyers buy the fish in producitionhome.generally price of fried fish is relative stable and be reached, there are different pricebetween thefried fish be split and the fried fish not be split. depended to the sun in doing process ofdrying, 3) marketing of fried fish at Kenagarian Sasak The fried fish be split has the price moreexpensive. It is because the process of production must be cut in half and need long time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Know the difference natives housing with migrants in theVillage District of Lubuk Sikarah VI Parts Solok. 2) Know the difference between theincome level of the natives with migrants in the Village District of Lubuk Sikarah VI PartsSolok. 3) Know the difference between the educational level of the natives with migrants inthe Village District of Lubuk Sikarah VI Parts Solok. 4) Know the difference between thelevel of health of the natives with migrants in Sub VI Parts Solok District of Lubuk Sikarah.This type of research is Descriptive Comparative Research. The population of this research isall the settlers and the indigenous people residing in the Village District of Lubuk Sikarah VIParts Solok. The sampling technique of this research is purposive sampling means samplesrondom selected based on certain considerations are 174 people. This type of data is theprimary data (ie, questionnaire) and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that: 1)There are differences in housing conditions between local people and migrants in the VillageDistrict of Lubuk Sikarah VI Parts Solok, 2) There are differences in education betweennatives with migrants in Sub VI Parts Solok District of Lubuk Sikarah,, 3) There aredifferences in income between natives with migrants in Sub VI Parts Solok District of LubukSikarah,. 4) There are differences between the health of indigenous people by the settlers inthe Village District of Lubuk Sikarah VI Parts Solok.

Abstract

The aims of the research are to get the data , process, analyze and discuss the impact of the conversion of agricultural land for socio-economic communities in the Air Pacah Village Koto Tangah subdistrict in Padang viewed from education level , live lihood changing, the level of ownership assets , and infrastructure facilities .This research is descriptive qualitative. population of the research is affected communities from land conversion in the Air Pacah Village. The sample of respondents was taken by a proportional random sampling of 20 % of people were affected by a conversion of agricultural land become 112 families for respondentThe research of the study explain that : (1) The conversion of farmland impact on positively public education in the Air Pacah Village, (2) the conversion of farmland impact on positively peoples livelihood in theAir Pacah Village, (3) conversion of agricultural land impact for the ownership of assets by people in the Air Pacah Village, (4) conversion of agricultural land impact of existing infrastructure facilities in the Air Pacah Village . Conversion of agricultural land in the Air Pacah Village is essential for the socio-economic circumstances of local communities , there are positive and negative impactsif we look at bath sides that can be understood are very important role in the welfare of the people in the Air Pacah Village Koto Tangah subdistrict in Padang city.
