Abstract

The average total income of Respondents. Rp 3.080.000. Every month from the average income of Primary Works Rp. 2.070.000. and the average income of part time job. Rp 1.165.384. Every month. Income from  Lembo Rumah can increase the average income of Rp. 1.097.200. Every month with 35.62% percent / household / month. This shows that Lembo Rumah can increase economic income of family in the village of Mencimai.

Abstract

The rised aims to investigate the influence of chicken  manure and urea fertilizer on growth and yield of kailan (Brassica oleraceae L ) varietas acephala DC.The experiment was conducted using randomized Block Design 9 RBD) with 4 x 4 factorial experiment consisted of 3 ( three) replications. The first in chicken  manure four levels : p0 : 0 g plot -1(control), p1: 500 g plot-1 equivalent to 500 g ha-1, p2 : 1000 g plot-1 equivalent of 1 ton ha-1 and p3 : 1500 g plot-1 equivalent to 1.5 tons ha-1. Urea Manure 4 second level : n0; 0 plot-1(control), n1: 2,5 g plot-1 equivalent to 25 kg ha-1, n2: 5 g plot-1 equivalent to 50 kg ha-1 and n3 : 7,5 g plot-1 equivalent to 75 kg ha-1.                The result showed : (1) that chiken manure application significantly affected plant growth and production, except for plant height age of 10 days, p3 treatment dose ( 1500 g plot-1) showed the lowest weight of plant per hectare of 8,02 tons ha-1, (2) The results showed that administration of urea significantly affected growth and yield, plant heigt except age 10 and 20 days and the average number of leat age 10 days, n3  treatmant with a dose (7,5 plot-1) showed the highest weight of plants per hectare , 15,48 tons ha-1, n0 treatment (0 g plot-1) showed the lowest weight of plants per hectare, 11,57 tons ha-1 and (3). Interaction of chicken manure and urea fertilizers provide a very real effect on all parameters, but did  not significantly affect plant height average age of 10 and 20 days and the average number of leat age 10 days. Interaction p3n3 showed the greatest weight of plant per hectare 22.70 tons ha-1, whereas p0n0  showed the smallest weight of plant per hectare of 6,45 tons ha-1.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and quantify waste harvesting and exploitation factors IUPHHKA-HA PT. Rizki Kacida Reana Tajur Village, District Long Ikis, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province for 1 month in June and July 2013.Experiments in coupe IUPHHK-HA PT. Rizki Kacida Reana RKT 2013 with a sample of 50 trees on the 3 coupe and the data collected is primary data in the form of observations and measurements of length and diameter of trees that have fallen felled to obtain results which are expected to be utilized tree volume up to the first branch and stem volume not utilized, while the secondary data obtained directly from IUPHHK-HA PT. Rizki Kacida Reana and from the literature that supports.The results obtained are 1). The percentage of waste timber harvesting of species bangkirai 18.09%, 21.69% kapur types, types keruing 15.39%, 16.25% meranti merah, meranti putih 10.98%, and 34.79% rimba campuran types. Percentage of waste timber harvesting on average is equal to 14.73%. 2). Exploitation of timber harvesting factor IUPHHK-HA PT. Rizki Kacida Reana from 0.83 bangkirai types, types of kapur 0.82, 0.84 keruing type, 0.86 meranti merah, meranti putih 0.90, 0.69 rimba campuran types, so that the average size is 0.86 this was in accordance with that stipulated by the Ministry of Forestry Republic of Indonesia using 0.8 exploits factor in determining the level of annual production, and twenty-five-year annual. 3). Optimizing the use of waste as a whole can be used, either in the form of wood and a small scale as household firewood.

Abstract

The purposes of the research was to know about: (1) the effect of giving organic fertilizer nasa and the origin of planting material on the growth and crop of strawberry plant; (2) the best result of origin planting material on the growth of strawberry plant; and (3) the best interaction of giving fertilizer with origin planting material to the growth and crop of strawberry plant.The research was conducted in Faperta garden of 17 August 1945 University, Samarinda City, East Borneo Province. It took about 6 months from March to August 2012. The completely randomized design was employed for this research with factorial analysis 3 x 4 and 3 replications. The fist factor is the origin of planting material which consists of 3 levels, namely the fist stolon (s1), second stolon (s2), and third stolon (s3). The second factor  is the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer nasa, which consists of 4 levels : without poc nasa (n0), poc nasa 2,5 ml/liter of water (n1), poc nasa 5 ml/liter of water, and 7,5 ml/liter of water.The treatment of giving liquid organic fertilizer nasa is different and not visible to the growth of plant height (4, 8, and 12 weeks after planting), the number of stolon tillers, and the number of fruits. It is different and visible on the age of plant as it is growing first stolon, and fresh fruits weight per fruit. While at the age when the plant is flowering shows the result, different and very visible. The treatment of origin of planting material is different and not visible to the increase of plant height 8 weeks after planting, the fruits weight per fruit, and the number of fruits. The parameter of plant height 4 weeks after planting, the number of stolon tillers, and the age of plant when it is flowering, the treatment of origin planting material show the different and very visible. The interaction of giving liquid organic nasa and the origin of planting materials, from all parameter is showed the different and not visible.

Abstract

This study aims to analize perceptions and reactions of farmer’s group to used television as a source of agricultural information, and correlation of perception and reaction of gapoktan.The study was conducted in  Sidomulyo Village, Subdistrict of Anggana, Kutai Kartanegara Regency in since September until November 2012.Sampling using  stratified random method. From 420 farmers joined in Gapoktan,40 respondents drawn from different Farmer Groups (Poktan). Data taken in the form of primary data and secondary data.perception and reaction analysis with measurement scales of Likert. Correlation of perceptions and reactions were analyzed by chi-square, coefficient contingency, and coeffecient of Cramer’s V. Results of this study showedpoktanin the SidomulyoVillage, Subdistrict of Anggana, Kutai Kartanegara Regency have a positive perception by 60%, 32.5% neutral, and negative 7.5%. Reaction use television as a source of agricultural informationby 80% and20% not using. These results indicated that Gapoktan in SidomulyoVillage, Subdistrict of Anggana, Kutai Kartanegara Regency has a positive perception and using television as a source of agricultural information. The results also show perceptions and reactions have a significant correlation and very close.

Abstract

Objectives of the research were to study the effect of Green-Tama fertilizer and Atonik plant regulator, as well as their interaction on the growth and production of tomato; and to find proper dosage of Green-Tama fertilizer and proper consentration of Atonik plant regulator for better growth and production of tomato.The Completely Randomised Design was employed for this research with factorial 3 x 3 and 3 replications.  The first factor was Green-Tama fertilizer dosage (K), consisted of 3 sub factors: no Green-Tama fertilizer application (k0), 2 ml l-1 water (k1), and 3 ml l-1 water (k2). And the second factor was Atonik plant regulator concentration (P) that consisted of 3 sub-factors: no Atonik plant regulator application (p0), 1 ml l-1 water (p1, and 2 ml l-1 water (p2).Results of the research revealed that:1. The Green-Tama fertilizer affected very significantly on the plant height at 4 weeks after sowing, days of crop firstly flowered and weight per fruit, affected significantly on plant height at 6 weeks after sowing, and did not affect significantly on plant height at 8 weeks after sowing and number of fruit per crop;2. The Atonik plant regulator concentration affected very significantly on the plant height at 4, 6, and 8 weeks after sowing, days of crop firstly flowered, number of fruit per crop, and fruit weight per crop, and did not affect significantly on plant height at 2 weeks after sowing;  and3. The interaction between those two factors did not affect significantly on all parameters observed.

Abstract

Research objectives: (1) to identify and select the location of seed stands as a potential source of seed ironwood in the Research Forest KHDTK Samboja with reference to No. Permenhut. P.72/Menhut-II/2009, (2) to determine the amount of parent ironwood trees in the prospective location of seed sources, including health conditions and dimensions (diameter and height of the tree), and (3) to map the identified ironwood seed stands and seed stands ironwood selectedThe study was conducted from April 2013 to July 2013 in Forest Area Special Purpose (KHDTK) Samboja Research Forest, East Kalimantan province. The selection of research methods ironwood identified seed stands and selected referring to No. Permenhut. P.72/Menhut-II/2009 on Amendment No. Permenhut. P.01/Menhut-II/2009 on the Implementation of Forest Plant Seed. While the data collected in the field is the position of the parent ironwood tree, tree dimensions (diameter and height), and the health of the tree (healthy, deformed roots, stem defects, defective canopy).The results based on studies in the field of seed stands of ironwood select locations identified in the Research Forest KHDTK Samboja area + / - 50 ha, located at Km 1.5 Samboja-Sepaku road axis. Grouping results based on tree diameter classes in the selected locations covering + / - 50 203 ha of ironwood trees identified as having the highest grade in the class diameter 28-35 cm diameter trees (51 trees or 25%), followed by further 44-51 cm diameter class (49 trees or 24%), and 60-67 cm diameter class (27 trees or 13%). While based on the individual's health condition grouping tree of 203 trees found there are 167 trees in good health (82%), tree with root defects there are 11 trees (5.4%), tree with disabilities tree trunk 13 (6%), and tree canopy with disabilities there are 12 trees (6%). The results also identify the existing 52 stem ironwood trees as a seed source in the Forest Research KHDTK Samboja. While the mother of 52 ironwood trees identified are then selected live 39 mother trees selected as a seed source ironwood in the Forest Research KHDTK Samboja.Based on these results it is the follow up management plans for selected seed stands ironwood this needs to be done by the Research Institute for Natural Resource Conservation Technology Samboja. Security activities of the threat of forest fires and illegal logging activities and research activities specifically related to phenology of flowering and fruiting period including produktifivitasnya mother plant is a major priority activities that need to be done going forward.

Abstract

Research objectives are : ( 1 ) to determine and assess some local knowledge ( indigenous knowledge ) which is owned by the farmer in the village of Long Ikis Semuntai Paser district on land management in everyday life , and ( 2 ) to assess the modernization paradigm and its impact on conservation traditional communities based on local knowledge .The experiment was conducted for 3 months in the village Semuntai , District Long Ikis , Paser . The stipulation determined purposively based on the consideration that the area is an area where there are many natives who know historically about darts local knowledge ( indigenous knowledge ) in the farming community Paser .This study uses descriptive qualitative approach . Descriptive method is used to describe the facts relevant to the issues under study as it is followed by rational interpretation . Data were collected from two sources , namely : ( 1 ) primary data obtained through in-depth interviewing techniques ( in- depht interviews ) , Focused Group Discussion ( Focus Group Discussion - FGD ) , and observation . While the secondary data obtained from the documents , reports , publications , and so on.Traditional conservation basically is aknowledge system that obtain from human interaction with the environment along all cultural aspects. This system became basis to decision-making and aseducation substabce in traditional community.  People of Paser Society (Orang Paser) is community that till recent some of their people remain implementing the traditional conservation, by developing the local wisdom system harmonize with the given culture norms. As the civilization development, this conservation tradition with local wisdom basis suffer degradation bacause of the modernization.

Abstract

This study is to find closure on the land and floor area KHDTK Samboja changes and to find out the cause. Results from this study is expected to enrich the reference about the closing conditions far beyond the land especially for those in need especially for writers.. This study uses the interpretation method on screen digitization of Landsat 7 ETM + imagery coverage in 2010 and 2013 . Results from the interpretation then dioverlaykan the forest map and a map of East Kalimantan government administration .From the results showed that over the period 2010 to 2013, the change of land based on the calculation of the closure of changing area of 104.8 ha ( 3.38 % ) of the total area of 3206.2 ha area can be compared . Slowly closing the mengalai class changes in the form of addition of secondary forests dry land size 19.6 ha ( 0.61% ) , shrub size 14.0 ha ( 0.44 % ) , Agriculture plus tick size of 17.1 ha ( 0.53 % ) , Garden of 3.5 ha ( 0.11 % ) , and change the form of reductions in class extents occurred slowly closing the open land about the size of 54.2 ha ( 1.69 % ) . While that did not happen in the classroom changed slowly closing retreat and Transmigration .Monitoring of forest resources must continue to be done in support of sustainable forest planning pengelolaaan better and suitable provisions.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the tomato farm income and knowing the tomato farm income contributing to household incomes of farmers in Api-Api Village, Bontang Utara Sub District.This research started on April until July 2012, with research location is in Api-Api Village, Bontang Utara Sub District.  The method that used is census method. The data needed by research are primary and secondary data. Primary data is got by observation and interview with responder use questionnaire which have been compiled in line with research.  While secondary data is got from bibliography study and institution information which is related to research execution.  The results of this research shows that :Based on the survey result to 9 respondent obtained  tomato production to one season is 4.777,78 kg-1 meter-1 at the price of selling Rp 8.000 – 9.000 kg-1. Total revenue farmers was Rp 730.000.000,00 year-1 and total income from tomato farming is Rp 522.588.633,33 year-1with average farm income is Rp 58.065.403,70 year-1 respondents-1.Value of R/C ratio was 3,45 meaning that the cultivated tomato farm is already profitable then planting a tomato can for resumes.Average contributing of the tomato farm income to household incomes of farmers is 62,50%.
