Abstract

The achievement of Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Provinsi Riau in improving the compliance of public service standards is inseparable from several special points which include the value of administrative documents, electronic and non-electronic facilities and infrastructure and facilities, and adequate human resources in carrying out public services. However, the availability of non-electronic public service information (booklets, pamphlets, etc.) is still focused or in the DPMPTSP office, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure of special needs, infrastructure for people with physical disabilities (eg wheelchairs, guiding lanes, special toilets ) and breastfeeding room.In this study, the concept of theory used is the strategy theory proposed Ellitan (2008) as a research instrument, where to measure the strategies applied to an organization or company include; technology strategy, innovation strategy, and operation strategy. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including interview, observation and documentation study.The results showed that the strategy applied DPMPTSP Riau Province to run optimally. This is evidenced by the presence of human resources / service providers in providing services, service systems and availability of information electronically and non-electronically, online licensing innovation, service provision availability, online complaint management, performance appraisal of service users through Community Satisfaction Survey SKM/ e-voting, and questionnaire), as indicator of compliance standards established by Ombudsman RI. The strategy adopted by DPMPTSP of Riau Province has benefited the service user's certainty and convenience, but there are some weaknesses in the indicator in service for users with special needs services that are not fully supported by special needs (such as special needs, wheelchair and so on ), as well as the form of direct socialization in encouraging the public in the field of licensing services and non-licensing.Keywords: Public Service, Service Strategy, Technology Strategy, Innovation Strategy, and Operation Strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine effect of profitability, liquidity and leverage on company of basic industry and chemical sectors listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Profitability ratios were used as independent variables is Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE), the ratio of liquidity are used ad independent variable is Current Ratio (CR) and Leverage ratio were use as independent variables is Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). While being used as the dependent variables is Dividend Policy measured by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).Data used in this study is a secondary data, financial reports (annual report). As for data listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 5 years from 2010 to 2014. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, used are 7 companies. Analysis data using multiple linear regressions analysis, t test, f test and coefficient of determination test. Analysis data using multiple linear regressions analysis with SPSS 21.The analysis showed that the variable profitability does not effect on dividend policy on company of basic industry and chemical sectors listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Liquidity variable does not affect on dividend policy on company of basic industry and chemical sectors listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Whereas leverage variables has effect on dividend policy of basic industry and chemical company listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Simultaneous research results showed has effect of variable profitability, liquidity and leverage on dividend policy on company of basic industry and chemical sectors listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.Keywords : Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage, Dividend Policy

Abstract

This study was conducted at Nagari Sabu Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The purpose of this research is to know the fuel incenses function for the community at Nagari Sabu Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The focus of this research is the implementation of the incense burning tradition in the rituals of community life at Nagari Sabu Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The technique of determining samples by Purposive Sampling and determine the number of samples as many as 10 people. The author uses qualitative descriptive method and Instrument data is observation, interview and documentation.Research conducted, the authors found that As a tradition, burning incense also consists of several things that must be provided. All it takes is incense and embers. Coals as a medium to burn incense are provided by the host. After the incense and embers are available, the prayer event begins. In the incense burning prayer is done after the prayer is offered in Minang or Bahasa Indonesia. Then proceed with a prayer reading by the cleric. Function of burning incense is as a spirit invite, prayer accompanist in the event selametan include aqikah prayer, death prayer, marriage prayer, prayer maulid nabi, prayer circumcision, and prayer idul fitri / idul adha and ritual treatment. Efforts to deliver and inherit the values of tradition of fuel inceses that is by passing on to the younger generation and teach it, hold studies in mosques or in mushalla. The meaning of the burning of this kemenya is to run the sunna of the Prophet. It is said sunna because the prophet and the angels are very fond of smells. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on employee organizational commitment (study at Bank BRI Pekanbaru Branch). Motivation (X1), Work environment (X2) and organizational commitment (Y).The method in this research is quantitative with SPSS program, where the samples used are employees of Bank BRI Pekanbaru that is as much as 94 respondents. In accordance with opinion (Roscoe, 2009) that the appropriate size in the study is 30 to 500. That number can already represent the population. Technique of collecting data through questionnaire.The result of this research conclude that motivation and work environment variable have significant influence to organizational commitment of employees of Bank BRI Pekanbaru Branch.Keywords: Motivation, Organizational Commitment

Abstract

The relationship between employer and smallholders here is the dependency relationship and interests, where oil palm farmers to borrow money from employer and the employer need of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) .where -masing each of them will preserve and maintain the existing relationship, this interest will guard it -baiknya, in safe guarding the interests of this they must respect the norm - the norm for the relationship that has been preserved is not damaged so saja.yang until eventually the relationship which was originally only for the benefit of and dependence over time turned into sosial.tujuannya relation to their interests.This type of research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in the village of Menggala Exemplary, Tanah Putih, Rokan Hilir, with the sample by taking 10% of each patron, the number of samples in this study were 33 people.Results from this study is the patron-client relationship between employer palm smallholders Village Menggala Exemplary background with a relationship of mutual need and mutual dependence on each other, although in this relationship occurs imbalance between employer palm (patron) and smallholders (client) Exemplary however Menggala village patron-client relationship is constantly interwoven and never caused any problems or social conflicts. The elements that make up the patron-client relationship between employer palm oil growers village is Menggala Exemplary networks, trust and norms. Abstract

The progress of Muslims in Indonesia can not be separated from the role of Islamic figures and organizations actively conducting business charity activities. An organization must have a good image and behavior in the community and face a variety of practices that are considered incompatible with the values to Islaman that plague the middle of the life of the community. Islamic Defenders Front as a community organization that put Islamic values as the main motivation in doing activities including in the case of da'wah. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of the Organization members of the Islamic Defenders Front and the role of the Organization of the Islamic Defenders Front. The research method used is descriptive quantitative by displaying data that has been obtained in tables. The research was conducted at the headquarters of the Islamic Defenders Front of Tanjung Rhu Subdistrict, Limapuluh Pekanbaru Subdistrict. From the result of the research, it is found that the activity of the organization of Islamic Defenders Front that has been planned to be done optimally is seen from the high member activity level.Keywords: Characteristics, Role, Organization

Abstract

This research was conducted at the PT. Andika Permata Sawit Lestari Pekanbaru, as for the purpose of this research is to know the influence of the giving of the motivation and discipline work against employee accomplishments (study at PT. Andika Permata Sawit Lestari Pekanbaru). Granting of motivation and discipline work as independent variables (X1, X2) while the employee's achievements as the dependent variable (Y). The problem in this research is the State of the number of employees at the PT. Andika Permata Sawit Lestari Pekanbaru who experience fluctuations every year, seen from the number of employees in the last 5 years. The sample of this research as much as 49 respondents. Data obtained from the results of a questionnaire and further processed and then tested with stats through the program SPSS. From the results of testing performed indicates that giving motivation and discipline work positive effect against employee accomplishments (study on PT. Abstract

The development of the hotel in the long run is very rapid and also become a very industry presents for the entrepreneurs who are in it. In the world of the hospitality industry, the quality of service becomes something very important karana customers always want to get the desired with the services provided by hotel employees to guests and customers hence required Standard Operations (SOP) is very good and required to always professional houseman departement housekeeping .In this study, researchers used the method of mix-method as a research procedure that produces data processing from interviews, documentation, observation, and questionnaires.The conclusion from the data processing shows that houseman departement housekeeping is categorized in good level, as seen from the result of 61% result from mean of calculation of questionnaire. And it can be concluded that, technically the employee's understanding and skill in using machine tools is good, houseman has a good conceptual in pursuing cleansing area, and division of duty done by supervisor is very fair.Keywords: houseman departement housekeeping, public area, machine tool

Abstract

ricefield farmer is a farmer who manage the ricefield whose irrigation system relies heavily on rainfall.This type of rice field is only processed if there is rain water.In rain fed lowland areas it is very difficult to harvest well compared to irrigated rice fields, in rain fed rice fields most of the harvest period is only two times a year. Not infrequently, many of rainfed farmersonly can harvesting of the rice once a year and experiencing a decrease in productivity of the rice or harvesting failure. This case is the reason why the researcher want to know what is the causes of failed harvest happened in Jorong Sungai Salak,how the adaptation done by farmers in the face of harvesting failurein order to make lack of income in harvesting period doesn’t happened, then what is the efforts that have been done by the rainfed ricefield farmer in face of harvesting failure. This research use qualitative research approach and produce descriptive data. Subject is done by viewing and selecting the subject by specifying the specific characteristics landlord and cultivator farmers for the purpose of the research. The results of research indicate that the main factor causing farmers experiencing failure harvest is due to natural factors, and factors of the farmers themselves, there are three strategies are used by the farmers that are active adaptation strategy, passive and networking. The efforts that have been made in the face of harvesting failure are coming from the government and the efforts of the farmers themselves.Keywords: Adaptation, Rainfed Rice Farmers, Decreased Productivity, Failed Harvest.

Abstract

2015 is a party of democracy for Indragiri Hulu community. Yopi Arianto, SE as incumbent candidate successfully re-elected to Regent Indragiri Hulu period 2015-2020 period. This study aims to determine the style of communication polittik Yopi Arianto and the use of media in the campaign in the election of regional head of Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2015.               The method of this research is qualitative research method. The informants in this study consisted of Yopi Arianto as Indragiri Hulu District Head, 2 people, and 1 successful team. Techniques of collecting interview data, observation, and documentation.                              The results of this study indicate that the victory back Yopi Arianto became Regent Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2015 can be achieved with political communication that he did. This political communication includes the style of political communication as well as the use of media in the campaign. Political communication style Yopi Arianto is known as an energetic, interactive, and close to the people. In addition, the selection of media use in campaigns is also a matter of concern. Yopi Arianto uses some media of kampaye covering media directly or face to face ie communication directly to society, social media in form of facebook which is useful to convey information about activity during campaign progress. In addition, the use of outdoor media such as banners, billboards and banners and the use of small format media in the form of posters, clocks, calendars and T-shirts is also a concern Yopi Arianto in attracting the public to vote himself back in the elections of regional heads in 2015 Regency of Indragiri Hulu.Keyword: Local Election, Political Communication
