Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify the influence discharge planning study performed by nurses among pulmonary TB patient's The method is quasi-experimental design, the equivalent control group design approach. The research was conducted in Medical General Hospital Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru involving 15 respondents. The sampling method is purposive sample. The data was colled by using a guestommaire who have been make by health departement systematic republic Indonesia. The analysis used univariate and bivariate is the dependent t test. The result showed that there is very significantly the effect of discharge planning for readiness home care among pulmonary TB Patients (p value= 0,000). The results of this study recommend the discharge planning can provide a regularly and proper conduct discharge of patients with pulmonary TB to avoid the drop out when the drop out drugs and hospital again in RSUD Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know behavioral factors that influence whiteness in women teenagers. The method of the research used correlation description with cross sectional approach.The research has done at 82 respondents in SMA Negeri 1 Rumbio Jaya using total sampling technique. The assessment thatusedquisioners.The analyze thatusedbivariat analyze using Chi Square test. The result of the research shows that there is no correlation between women teenagers knowledge and attitude level towards whiteness and for responds got p value =0,041 where p value < 0,05, it can be concluded that there is correlation between respondents respond towards whiteness.This research result is hoped can be seen for women teenagers to more be attention the problem health that happened in them especially about whiteness. Abstract

  Abstract The purpose of this research was to identify the effect of health education of cardiac rehabilitation exercise to knowledge and ability of early mobilization in patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). This study used pra-experimental methods with pre and post-test without control. This research was conducted at Flamboyan ward Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru with 30 respondents.This research used purposive sampling technique. Measuring instrument of this research used questionnaire and observation sheet. The analysis used univariate and bivariate with using wilcoxon test. The results showed the effect of health education of cardiac rehabilitation exercise to knowledge with ρ value 0,004 and ability of early mobilization in patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) with ρ value 0,000. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of study was to identify the correlation between the family support and quality of  life of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy at Arifin Achmad general hospital Pekanbaru. This study was description correlation with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique in this study was total sampling with 105 respondents. Instruments used were questionnaires which were tested the validity and reliability. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The result showed that pvalue = 0.002, it could be concluded that there was a relationship between family support and quality of life of CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy at Arifin Achmad general hospital Pekanbaru. Families who have family member undergoing hemodialysis therapy are expected  to always give both moral and material support, so that the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis CRF can be maintained. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this researchwas to identify the effect of essential oil rose aromatherapy to decrease pain of the patient’s cancer stage II. This research was quasyexperiment method by used pretest and posttestdesigns with control group. It was conducted in Awal Bros Hospital and Islamic of Ibnu Sina HospitalPekanbaruwith 30 respondents, 15 peoples in the experimental group and 15 others in control group with purposivesampling technique. This reserach instrument used by observation sheet.It used univariate and bivariate analysis that Wilcoxon and M­annWhitneytest.The results showed that there was significant difference between pain after given of essentialoilrose for experimental group and not given for control group (p value 0,000 < α 0,05). This research  wasrecommended of healthy institution for applicated as one of non farmachology therapy to decrease pain especially for patient’s cancer stage II. Keywords: Aromatheraphy, essential oil rose, the cancer patients stage II

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of health education on the number of elderly visit to the elderly health center in Puskesmas Sekijang. This study used quasi-experimental methods with pre and post-test without control (self-control) approach. This research was conducted at Sekijang health center with 33 respondents. This research used accidental sampling technique. This study used an observation sheet to measure the elderly visit. The analysis used univariate and bivariate using Wilcoxon test. The results showed that  health education was effective to increase the number of elderly visit to the elderly health center with p value 0,018.It isrecommend forhealth workers forprovidehealth education aboutelderly health centre to ederly usingaudiovisualmedia so thatthe knowledgeandmotivation of elderlyto visitsthe elderlyhealth centre can beincreased.   Keywords: elderly visits, health education, elderly health centre

Abstract

Abstract Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is one of the most common medical problem in the world. The purpose of this descriptive correlational research on Type II Diabetic patients was to determine the relationship of knowledge, perception and effectiveness in the use of insulin therapy. This research was conducted in Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital of  Pekanbaru. Involving 78 respondents. The sampling method is purposive sample. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate. The results revealed that perception (p value = 0.000) and the effective use of insulin therapy (p value = 0.000) for patients with Type II DM compliance in the administration of insulin injection but there is no correlation between knowledge (p value = 0.211) in the delivery of insulin injection. Nurse is able to do many things in order to control the effectiveness the use of insulin on Type II DM. . Abstract

Abstract This aimsof this research is to determine the factors that influence of the incidence of premarital sex among female adolescents. Methodology on this research was a descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. The sample in this research are 118female adolescents in Senior High School 1 South North Pagai Mentawai Islands with stratified sampling technique.Measuring instrumentwas useda questionnaire. The analysis was usedunivariateandbivariateanalysisbyChi-squared test.The results showedthat effect ofpressurefromfriendswith p-value0.025andpovertyinfluence onpremaritalsexwith ap-value<0.05, namely 0.002, while the influenceof pressurefromboyfriends, parental attitudes, shiftingcultural, moralandethicalas well asknowledgehas no effect onpremaritalsex. This studysuggeststo theSenior High School 1 SouthNorthPagaiMentawai islandstogiveeducationandinformationonreproductivehealthandsexualityeducation. so expecta teenagerto knowthe effectsof premarital sexandraise awareness of theinfluence offree associationin public life. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to identify the reationship between cadre performance of elderly posyandu and elder motivation to visit Elderly Posyandu. Research method used in this research is corellation descriptive with cross sectional design. This research was conducted in the Technical Implementing Service Mangement Department (UPTD) health clinic of Koto Baru, Singingi district Kuantan Singing Regency. Sampling method used in this research was proposive sampling. The measuring instrument was a questionnaire which has tested validity and reliability. Analysis methods used were univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square test. The result of Chi-Square test was, p value = 0.209, showed that p value > α 0.05, therefore it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, so then the researcher can summed up that there is no relationship between cadre performance of elderly posyandu and elder motivation to visit elderly posyandu. The result of this research is expected that it can be an input to any relevant institutions, particularly The UPTD health clinic of Koto Baru to plan programmes to raise awareness on the urgency of elderly posyandu for elders as health services to undertake health examination, such as mental status, nutrition satus, and physical health on a regular basis, so then it can be detected early in case of there is health problem.   Key words : Cadre Performance of Elderly Posyandu, Elder Motivation

Abstract

Abstract   Pulmonary tuberculosis (PT) is one of between two diseases (tuberculosis extrapulmonary) which includes 80% of the overall disease events PT. Control efforts TB nationally by implement strategies DOTS. DOTS strategy recommended WHO globally because result in the case finding and successful of high treatment.The purpose of this study was to determine the factors influence successful treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis in Puskesmas Harapan Raya 2013. The research is descriptive with cross sectional approach. The number of sample were 43 respondents taken by total sampling with data collected tool was patientsregisters TB data retrieval using with retrospective. The data collection was analyzed by univariate and bivariate using with Fisher's Exact test. The univariat results showed that the agesofmajority respondents was age of productive (83,7%), male (69,8%), compliance of treatment (69,8%), smear-negative for tuberculosis (76,7%) and used drug of cathegory I (95,3%). The bivariate analyzed showed that significant relationship between compliance level and smear-negative for tuberculosisand age with type of treatment (ρ value 0,000 < 0,05 and ρ value 0,023 < 0,05). The results showed there was not significant relationship between age and smear-negative for tuberculosis, sex and smear-negative for tuberculosis, sex and type of treatment, and compliance level with type of treatment (ρ value 0,656 > 0,05, ρ value 0,237 > 0,05, ρ value 0,086 > 0,05, dan ρ value 1,000 > 0,05). Based on results of this study, it is suggest to people who have awareness, willingness, and ability to improve the knowledge and compliance in completing treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis.   Keyword: age, level of compliance, pulmonary tuberculosis, sex,smear for tuberculosismicroscopic examination after treatment, type of treatment
