Abstract

This study analyze the influence of the marketing communications mix to the purchasing decision of Toyota products in Malang. The independent variables in this study consists of advertising , sales promotion , events and experiences , direct marketing , interactive marketing , word of mouth marketing and personal selling , while the dependent variable purchase decision . The results of the analysis conducted in this study have met the test requirements of multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents in Dealer AUTO2000 Sutoyo. This study has been tested for validity and reliability so that it can continue to test the classical assumption of normality test, non heteroskesdasitas assumption, and the assumption of non multikolenieritas test. After the classical assumption test done, then followed by the multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable and followed by testing the hypothesis by performing the F test, t test and dominant test. Abstract

Tougher competition for market indirectly force motorcycle manufacturers to maintain customer loyalty. With the rise of emerging community that no other marks is the community taking a brand and model of vehicle, car manufacturers believe that community is a potential market of the future. The problem we face is the consumer brand loyalty will be very necessary for a company to maintain its market share. Brand Community how can automakers maintain fidelity to the members of the brand community. This research analyzes the influence of brand communities to brand loyalty. This study uses multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 11.5. This data collection method uses a questionnaire to members of the community of Yamaha Vixion in Ambulu. Questionnaire method used to determine further what factors were behind the brand loyalty of Yamaha Vixion so community members decided to remain faithful to use the Yamaha Vixion. Questionnaires were distributed 40 questionnaires. The results showed six variables: the legitimacy of the brand community, oppositional brand loyalty, celebrating the history of the brand, sharing brand stories, integrating and retain members, and assisting in the use of the brand, which is significant oppositional brand loyalty, sharing brand stories, integrating and retain members, and assisting in the use of the brand.   Keywords: brand loyalty, brand community

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of the financial performance. Bank Mandiri Tbk . Before and after the implementation of GCG through solvency ratios , profitability , and liquidity , as well as to test and analyze the significant difference level financial performance. Bank Mandiri Tbk . By using the ratio Adequency Capital Ratio , Return on Assets , Return on Equity , Net Profit Margin , and the loan to deposit ratio before and after the implementation of GCG .  This type of research is explanatory research , the research object PT . Bank Mandiri Tbk . Methods of data collection methods through archives of the financial statements. Bank Mandiri Tbk . During the period 2002-2011 , published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange . The results of the measurement of financial performance in the test then using Paired Samples T -test . The results of this study showed that an increase in the company's financial performance after the implementation of GCG seen through the profitability ratio , whereas when seen through the solvency ratio and liquidity found a decrease in the company's financial performance after applying GCG . If the results of Paired Samples T -test , there are significant differences in the CAR and LDR in the period before and after implementation of GCG , while the ROA , ROE , and NPM found no significant differences . Abstract

This research aims  to examine impact of emotional intelligence  that is measured by self understanding, self control, motivation, empathy, and social ability, and learning behavior that is measured by aspects of the habit following the lesson, the habit of reading books, visiting libraries, and habits for exams whereas accounting understanding was measured by score of accounting subjects. Research sample is 80 respondents. Data analysis method is multiple regression. Result of examination indicates that  hypothesis 1 which stated that  emotional intelligence  by self understanding, self control, motivation, empathy, and social ability  significantly influence the interest of  accounting understanding. Hypothesis 2 which stated that learning behavior measured by aspects of the habit following the lesson, the habit of reading books, visiting libraries, and habits for exams significantly influence the interest of accounting understanding. Hypothesis 3 which stated that  emotional intelligence  and  learning behavior in a together influence the interest of accounting understanding. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi preferensi mahasiswa dalam pemilihan tempat tinggal kos dan  mengetahui preferensi konsumsi mahasiswa di Kelurahan Ketawanggede dan Kelurahan Sumbersari, Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa pada sampel yang terpilih diketahui bahwa pendapatan (uang saku) mahasiswa berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap preferensi mahasiswa dalam menentukan kos dan menyatakan apabila pendapatan (uang saku) naik maka kecenderungan preferensi mahasiswa untuk memilih tempat kos di Kelurahan Sumbersari lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan di Kelurahan Ketawanggede. Harga sewa kos berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap preferensi mahasiswa dalam pemilihan kos dan menyatakan bahwa apabila  harga kos naik  maka kecenderungan preferensi mahasiswa untuk memilih tempat kos di Kelurahan Ketawanggede lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan di Kelurahan Sumbersari. Fasilitas yang ditawarkan kos berpengaruh signifikan positif  terhadap preferensi mahasiswa dalam memilih kos dan menyatakan bahwa apabila fasilitas kos yang ditawarkan lebih bagus, maka kecenderungan preferensi mahasiswa untuk memilih tempat tinggal kos di Kelurahan Sumbersari lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan di Kelurahan Ketawanggede. Tidak adanya pengaruh signifikan serta negatif antara variabel gaya hidup dengan preferensi mahasiswa dalam memilih kos dan menyatakan bahwa tinggi rendahnya tingkat gaya hidup tidak akan meningkatkan preferensi mahasiswa dalam memilih daerah kos Sumbersari maupun Ketawanggede sebagai tempat kos. Selain itu, berdasarkan konsep elastisitas, yaitu elastisitas harga terhadap permintaan, dinyatakan bahwa kos merupakan barang elastis,  yaitu  kos yang diminta sangat dipengaruhi oleh besar-kecilnya harga.  Apabila berdasarkan elastisitas pendapatan terhadap permintaan, dinyatakan bahwa kos merupakan barang kebutuhan kebutuhan ( primer) mahasiswa. Apabila berdasarkan elastisitas silang, dinyatakan bahwa hubungan antara kos mengah ke atas dan kos menengah ke bawah adalah subtitusi (pengganti).   Kata Kunci : Preferensi Mahasiswa, Pemilihan, Tempat Kos

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja keuangan perusahaan Semen yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2007-2011. Mengingat persaingan di dunia usaha semakin lama semakin ketat sehingga penilaian kinerja perusahaan menjadi ukuran keberhasilan sebuah perusahaan. Analisis Economic Value Added (EVA) dan Market Value Added (MVA) untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan PT. Semen Gresik, Tbk, PT. Holcim Indonesia, Tbk, dan PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakasa, Tbk. Periode penelitian yaitu tahun 2007-2011 ( 5 Tahun). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai positif pada kedua indikator penilaian kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Nilai EVA positif menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan mampu menciptakan nilai tambah sehingga laba yang tersedia mampu memenuhi ekspektasi para penyandang dana. Nilai MVA positif menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telah mampu meningkatkan kekayaan para pemegang sahamnya. Demikian pula berlaku sebaliknya. Terdapat korelasi antara nilai EVA dan MVA. Kenaikan nilai EVA ternyata juga diikuti oleh kenaikan nilai MVA, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pasar merespons positif kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang mampu memberi nilai tambah bagi perusahaan.   Kata kunci : kinerja keuangan, Economic Value Added (EVA), Market Value Added (MVA)

Abstract

The  aim  of this study  is  to determine how the application of  equal employment opportunity (EEO) by ratification of Convention of ILO No. 111 towards the elimination of gender discrimination in the  Bank X  Branch Kediri. This study used qualitative research methods  -  case study, the method used to reach,  explain and describe any problems with greater depth and in accordance with the problem and research objectives. This study uses three informants  as key persons, selected by  purposive and snowball sampling. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the meaning (content analysis).  Data verification analyses used are construct validity, internal and external validity,  and reliability. The results of this study are not encountered discrimination against female workers in terms of: access to employment, access to training and development, access to appropriate positions gain increased experience, and the same wage. In the aspect of working conditions, provision of life and health insurance provided to employees of women are not equal to male employees Keywords: Equal Employment Opportunity, ILO No. 111, Gender Discrimination.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Asset (ROA), Non Performing Loan, and Interest Rateof SBI on total outstanding of loans (Studies in Foreign Exchange Banks that listed in BEI over period 2010-2011). Types of research used in this research is explanative research that aims to explain the causal relationship between the causal variables through hypothesis testing. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling and obtained a sample of 21 companies and 42 samples in total. To test the hypothesis proposed in this study used regression analysis. Regression analysis showed that ROA, and CAR as well as have a significant influence on dividend policy, meanwhile DER and Firm Size have not a significant influence on total outstanding loans. Based on these results, banks can make Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Return On Asset as reference in predicting total outstanding of loans.. Abstract

This study disscuses the servicescape and interpersonal comunication skills of employees that affect customer satisfaction tourism service. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the servicescape factors consisting of enviromental conditions, spatial layout, signs and symbol or artifacts and interpersonal  communication affects customer satisfaction and also to find out which factors are the most dominant influence on custumer satisfaction. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis and classical assumption. As for testing the hypothesis using the F test and T test based on the analysis performed, variable ambient conditions (X1), spatial layout (X2), signs,  symbol, artifacts (X3), and interpersonal communication skills (X4) jointly have a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Based on the T test is known that (X1), (X2), (X3), no significant effect partially while (X4) significant effect partially. Through standardized β coefficient obtained that variable interpersonal communication skills have a dominant influence in the amount of 0,544. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether  fundamental factors proxied by variables WCTO, ROE, DER, DPR, Sales Growth, and technical factors proxied by Beta affect firm value represented by PBV.  The population in this research is a  manufacturing company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2009-2012.  Sampling  methode using purposive sampling and acquired 36 companies  were selected as sample. The analysis technique used is multiple regression, the classical assumption, hypothesis testing using t-statistics to test the partial regression coefficients and F-statistics to test the simultaneous effect on the level of significance of less than 5%, and Standardized Coefficients Beta Test to determine the independent variables that The most dominant effect on the dependent variable. The results of this research indicated that simultaneously (f-test), the average individual fundamental factors WCTO, ROE, DER, DPR, Sales Growth, and technical factors Beta affect the average PBV with R2 64.6%.  Partial test (t-test)showed that the average ROE and Sales Growth has positive  significant  influence  to the average PBV, while other average individual fundamentals factors WCTO, DER, DPR, and technical factors Beta did not influence the average PBV. Based on Standardized Coefficients Beta Test, the average ROE dominant  influence  the average PBV among other independent variables.
